I ordered the chicken soup for someone who was feeling under the weather. They enjoyed it immensely and highly recommend!

I drive by this restaurant often, and always meant to stop in. Today was the day lol. It was not crowded, and the wait time was minimal. They have a selection of different meats, rice, seafood and patties. There is something for everyone. I ordered a Large jerk chicken, rice and peas, and cabbage. It was $16. They are very generous with the portion sizes. The jerk chicken was good, just a tad bit salty (hence the 4 stars). The BBQ sauce on the chicken helped balance out the salt. The rice and peas was excellent, I tasted the coconut milk and other ingredients in it. It's a small place with 2 small seats, it's better to order and go. They have some great oxtail and on occasion when it's available the ribs. Delicious!

Prices and service! I was introduced to this place by a good friend, given the impression that the food was phenomenal. I've made numerous visits there and have never been disappointed by how good the food is but this last time I visited I paid $32 for for one plate and a soda. now I don't care how good your food is, but if people can't afford to buy it then no one will know how good so I will not be visiting there again I'm so sad because it's in a very impoverished neighborhood so it's surprising that their prices are so high unfortunately, I hope they see this at least the owner and address it. read more

Had my son go to pick up the order, and they told him someone had already picked it up. He showed them the Grub Hub order number, and still claimed that not only had it been picked up but that the person SHOWED them the same number. Had my son put the person he was speaking to on the phone and I made it clear that you WILL give him the food, after some stumbling, he agreed EXCEPT the two Fried Chicken orders had to be submitted because they DIDN'T have anymore. Sounds suspicious doesn't it? The substitute Jerk Chicken and STILL GET THE SIDE ORDER WRONG! The Brown Stewed Chicken was under seasoned, rice and peas needed more flavor as well, and if that was a large, I'd hate to see their Medium. Never going back again. They lied about the order because they ran out of food, all they did was piss me off with that story because they STILL has to replace the order. Delicious fresh breakfast. Felt like I was in Jamaica. Love the bright colors and the outside patio to eat. Short boss was very friendly and energetic. He assisted me right away. I had a mix up porridge with oatmeal and banana and fritters. Delicious thats a way to start your morning. read more

This restaurant has been in the neighborhood for years but have never been reviewed This is both a take out and a dine in restaurant. They don't have dedicated serving staff but the staff make sure you're taken care of. They have just expanded and some construction is going on. The food here is authentic Jamaican food and is very good. They also make selected American dishes as fry chicken and so on. I wouldn't give this a star if I had it my way. Why work with people behind the counter and your face resembles that you don't like people...OPEN up your mouth and SPEAK when customers come in...it helps...anywho can I please have some macaroni & cheese, thanks. Wtf is this...it's bland and doesn't taste good...please take this back. While I'm waiting for my $3.27 (what's up w/the 27cent) my friend and I observe that there is a blue form on the cheesecake in the display case for people to purchase...ummm Miss please remove the molded cheesecake...I love cheesecake...I've never seen molded cheesecake before...I'm so off this. I order takeout from this restaurant quite frequently. The food is pretty good. Staff is friendly and they have an area where u can dine in. My only complaint is that they do not take cards. However there is an ATM machine inside. read more

I love this place. I always get a homey feel when I walk in. I usually get a jerk chicken meal but their roti is just as satisfying. I definitely prefer this place over 3ds on linden blvd, but I've yet to try their oxtails! They've recently expanded a sit down area that they're turning into a juice bar, I can't wait! read more

I love this place. Everything is good. The staff has no attitude. They appreciate your business. Its clean . Only con is they dont deliver a lot due to driver issues. Find a reliable driver and these other jamaican restaurants will be knocked out the box. All their food is amazing read more
