Been wanting to try Halal-N-Out for quite some time and finally had the opportunity too. Biggest regret - did not try the chicken over rice - but will next time! Standard late night grub - can get all things fried and glcan satisfy that craving! We got some onion rings, loaded fries (uses a cheese sauce vs. melted cheese), shrimp basket, and a sandwich. All were good, but nothing stood out. Service was good - everything made once we ordered vs. sitting out for a while. The space was also packed with orders and seems like a serious to go operation. No In N Out? No problem. I pass by this place all the time and tonight was finally the night I was ready to try this place. As someone who grew up in CA on In N Out, I was surprised to see a homage to that chain all the way out here in NYC. This place has the best halal delivery in BK. The problem is they dont allow you to customize their sauces over DoorDash. For the last year I've called in to tell them my sauce preferences over the phone after placing my order, not ideal, but the food is good enough to warrant the extra hassle. I order at least once a week. Today I called in and they told me that they can't accept extra sauces over the phone and there is no way to pay for them. Major disappointment. Please add sauces to your DoorDash! Or at least let us add them via phone. read more

I've had halal-n-out twice now and I'll order it again. The portions are HUGE and the prices are great for the area. On top of those things, the flavors are amazing. The masala fries... get them!! So much flavor. My second favorite thing is the crispy chicken sandwich. Really crispy and i loved the bun. I thought the burger was pretty good too but we enjoyed the crispy chicken more. I will have to try the chicken & rice one day too. For some comfort food on a cheat day, this will be the spot. Great service with my deliveries, with nice folks on the phone and on time deliveries. Decent halal late night food place. They seem to do more delivery and take and eat at home/in the park meals because the place is relatively small inside and has zero seating. Just a high top surface to lean on and eat ..... and then go. Not a place that you will linger.... Got a mixed lamb and chicken rice and salad plate with half an order of flatbread and it was a generous portion for $12.99. My wife just got the lamb $10.99 and she could barely finish it. The write and green sauces are da bomb and the red/hot sauce is truly hot so be forewarned. I liked it - not so sure it checked all the boxes for my wife. Lotta rice. I was very intrigued when they opened up in my neighborhood. The place is small with limited seating however the food is incredible for an amazing price as well. 13 Dollars for a burger, fries and a drink with the portions being big. Definitely fills you up for the day. The staff is very hospitable and it lives up to the name in and out. You could see the food being prepared right in front of you. The longest that I've waited for my food was 15 minutes and I come here very often. They close late and it's definitely a place that you get addicted to. read more

In terms of fast food, this place definitely exceeded my expectations. Whether you want a meat and rice bowl, fried chicken, a pita, wrap, or hero, they've got you covered. When we got there there was a decent crowd so it makes sense that we had to wait a little while for our food, but it came out very hot and fresh. The seasoned fries and the fried chicken were both nicely flavored and had a great level of crisp. For only about $35 total we have enough food for maybe 3 meals each for 2 people. I definitely plan to order food from here in the future; they have free delivery for all orders over $10. The food may not have been perfect, but for the price and convenience, I think it's very worth it. Much better tasting (and most likely much cleaner) than halal carts. read more

For $10 and a quick wait time, the chicken wrap was so totally worth it yesterday! I am glad I finally stopped by after passing Halal-N-Out on the way to the train perhaps hundreds of times. The cashier was kind also. If you're a hot sauce girly like me, they have the good stuff! I am sometimes turned off by halal places that have what I consider to be the wrong flavor of hot sauce, but this place is safe from that! Came here in a pinch late on a Sunday night. We stopped in because it was one of the few places open and decided to give it a try. First off I'll start by saying the staff was incredibly kind and welcoming. Would definitely go back just bc of the service. The interior was clean, which goes a long way. I came across this restaurant while searching for food to order. I was thinking of getting chicken over rice from the halal cart however this place caught my eye. There's so many options to choose from, sandwiches, gyros, rice, pita, wings, fries and other sides. I was craving rice so I decided on the mixed meat (chicken and lamb) over rice. There's two options for rice, seasoned rice and brown rice. I wasn't sure what seasoned rice entailed so I chose brown rice. It's a long grain brown rice, pretty good imo. The chicken and lamb were both really good, it was well seasoned and texture was just right. The lamb especially, I enjoyed a lot. It reminded me of sausage and didn't have that grainy smell to it. They also have extra sauce on the side as requested and had a green sauce as well. I don't think this issue is with the restaurant itself however still took off a star for it. I had placed the order through Yelp and the estimated time for pick up was between 2:44 to 3:05PM. I had walked over to the restaurant 5 minutes prior to the estimated time and it was already packed and placed to one side. Had I waited for the notice that my food was ready, it would've sat for a long time.
