Yes, again..., I'm addicted to [ Grub~Hub ] ordering....... I'm including the actual [ Grub~Hub ] menu list. This is the "Small Chilli" which is about 6oz. for only $4.75. The Chilli White Rice...., Diced Green & Red Pepper.., Black Beans, Onions, Garlic, Broiled Mushrooms ...,melted Monterrey Jack Cheese..., grounded Cayenne Pepper.., mixed with White Potatoes...,Ground Beef..., a Tomatoes. As you can see I ordered at 8:06pm..., and I got my food at 9:00pm. Pretty good, as I live 2 miles from this place. And I ordered the "Spicy Cheese Fries" which is a Small size by the menu of $4.75 ..........................................,however it visually looks like a medium in size. It's basically grounded black pepper sprinkled on melted American Cheese and Sweet Potato Fries I'd order again‼ Professional Contactless Delivery!

Bomb a$$ Falafel Balls

These folks have the BEST lamb schwarma in NYC, hands down. Their balance of tzatziki, fresh lettuce and red cabbage, fresh veggies and hummus is superb and their falafel is always fresh and never dry. Their fries are also supremely legit. They're super fast, they deliver and their food is made with quality and love. And they're open late. Just off the Melrose L stop. Thank you for filling my tummy and feeding my soul! Love you guys! -Brandon

The inside has PLENTY of seating for your late night meal.

TOO SPICY! The falafels burned my mouth so bad and ruined the entire meal for me. The falafel is what makes the plate and if they're bad I can't enjoy the rest of the sides, no matter how good (and they were pretty good). Oddly, the rice was the star; it has such a unique, almost sweet, blend of spices. The cauliflower was not worth the extra money spent on getting a third side. It's not that great. The beet and red cabbage salad that comes on the plate as well as the hummus are all tasty. You get a pita, which I always appreciate, but I wish I could have gotten whole wheat. I was also disappointed they didn't have babaghanoush when I went. How could they run out?! This place has so much potential... It's open late and there's plenty of seating. There are a ton of vegan options and they have a great variety of menu choices. The workers are nice and were helpful when I asked questions. Yet, with falafels that are spicier than any of the ones I've had in NYC, I simply can't trust anything else and will probably not return.

This shit was fucking good an I order a small plate of falafel it was okay just a little spicy but i can't wait to get another burrito

Shit is good can't wait to get another burrito from them I think they should pass around flyers so people can know them

Late night shawarma spot. It's good. A plate costs around $10. They seem to serve Mexican food as well.

The space is intimate and inviting, with warm décor that makes you want to linger. There are both indoor and outdoor seating options, plus a charming open-air courtyard in the back that adds to the atmosphere. We enjoyed a few cocktails, some delicious food, and dessert, and everything was wonderful. It was the perfect spot to relax after a day of exploring. If I'm ever back in town, I'll definitely be returning. A lovely little gem that I'd happily recommend!

I went back for a weekday lunch recently and the food and atmosphere both hold up fabulously, so it makes sense why they've remained a brunch mainstay at both their East Village and Williamsburg locations. I enjoy that they serve their hot moroccan tea in a glass as is traditional, so you can see all the fresh mint leaves in your cup. I had tea like this multiple times a day during my trip to Morocco a few years back so sipping on this here took me back in time. I ordered a short stack of their blueberry pancakes which were very fluffy and delicious. They're not the kind of pancake with crispy edges, which are my preferred kind of pancake but I still found them satisfying. The moroccan eggs, which are two poached eggs in spicy stewed tomatoes and served with zahar pita is a delight. The pita is very fluffy and the zahatar adds such a nice fragrant spice to the bread. They used to serve this with potatoes but now those come at an additional charge but are well worth getting. The Williamsburg location also has pretty good wifi and they let me work on my laptop through my brief stay there. Kitchen was speedy too.

The best food here is definitely going to be the local specialty and I was correct! We came as a group of 6- made this reservation a month in advance. They were super patient with us and took our orders pretty quick. The wine selection is magnificent I had such a great orange wine and tried their refreshing rose secco and they paired really well with the seafood. We ordered the tilefish ceviche, the famous sourdough, maitake and yellow oyster mushrooms and grilled corn to start. They each came on their own pace so it was 1 by 1. We got to focus on each dish and share it. It felt like tapas style! Amongst these starters I definitely really loved the ceviche athough my friends felt like it was lackluster. The oyster mushrooms and corn was interesting but not as amazing as the sourdough. We ordered two dishes for this and I felt like it wasn't enough. The ricotta is just so creamy and definitely left me wanting more. For secondary we ordered mackerel toast and the shrimp! These were definitely one of the most memorable and the mackerel was raw which was so fun and interesting play on texture with the cream cheese toast. Definitely something I would like to eat often for breakfast as it's similar to lox but not smokey and just super fresh and neutral. The shrimp was absolute star of the show. I don't have much notes on that other than it was spectacular. The way they grilled it or cooked it was just love! For the mains we shared the half chicken and the tilefish local specialty dish! I think the chicken you can skip but I definitely think the fish was one of the best fish I've eaten recently! I love the tomatoes and way they flavored it. For dessert I know my friend said the chocolate cake was the best but I digress I actually think there's better out there. Instead we also ordered their recommended lemon possett and this one was actually super worth it. I'd recommend this for sure! It's so tart but not too tart and light and airy it's definitely more my vibe. Our total was pretty crazy for a six person group I ended up paying around $80 pp for these dishes. I had a fun time having dinner with friends but we were also rushed out after we finished and it was time to give other people their spots. It definitely feels like you're only going there to eat and not to stay for a long dinner and chat.

Service was incredibly warm, and our waiter gave helpful recs when navigating the wine menu, which featured mostly wines from Lebanon. For 2, we got: - baba ghannouj - muhammara - dips come with fresh, fluffy, warm pita - batata hara (crispy, spicy fried potatoes with garlic) - heirloom tomato (with garlic toum and sunflower seeds) - octopus - lamb chops Everything was delicious and extremely flavorful! The heirloom tomatoes were a standout dish: fresh, packed tons of flavor, and I loved how everything went together. The waiter mentioned they're seasonal and will be swapped out for something for the fall season soon. Dips and potatoes were excellent. Octopus was the one weaker spot. The skewer was a bit small and the preparation left the meat a little lackluster and chewy (I'm picky with my octopus!) The lamb chops were very tender with tons of flavor - char, mint, meat. A bit heavy but might just be because I don't eat a ton of red meat. I was VERY full by the end of the meal! I think we could have done 1-2 fewer dishes and still been very satisfied, but I'm glad I got to try so many things. The mains took a while to come out, though I enjoyed the longer, non-rushed, 'let's chat over delicious bites for hours' feeling of the meal overall. Great dining experience. The bill came to about ~$100 per person for the above + a drink (one wine, one mocktail) each. Between the fantastic ambiance, service, and high quality flavors, I found it to be worth the price and great for a treat yourself outing, date, or special occasion.

I asked if there was any way to fix this, and right away, the hostess brought us to another table with a much better view of that magnificent manhattan skyline and river. Then the food. Omg the food. We each ordered our main, after which they bring out an enormous tray of all these lovely nibble salads, pickles, dips, and pita. I don't eat wheat, and haven't my entire life, so I usually don't say anything about it if it seems to me the place doesn't cater to that sort of restriction. The server noticed however, and offered sliced cucumbers for the dips. Such a lovely detail, brava. Did I mention how deeeeeeeelicious everything was? Hubby had the steak shishlika which was perfectly tender and charred at once. I had the chicken shishlika which was good, but not the wow of the steak. Each and every salad, dip, pickle etc was perfectly spiced, cooked, presented. The nuances were just right. Nothing too precious or sideways. Just honest, well built yummy food. And the fries. You MUST get the fries. We ordered the tahini ranch along with the tahini catsup. In my opinion, that wasn't necessary. But if you're a ranch lover, go for it. Then the dessert! Soft serve with a cherry reduction and some kind of flourless chocolate brownie... I don't need to say more. The service was excellent. The food delicious. The view was perfect, though no one celebrated the sun going down like I was told they do. We will go back, with four or more so we can finish all the food. We left way too much behind since we were heading out after and not home. Lesson learned: laser wolf is a great celebration/date night venue for all the right reasons. Lesson learned: if you're going with a group, make sure you have your final number when making the reservation because adding someone later may not be possible. We started with the Mezzi Filistini, a mixed platter of babaganoush, muhammara, tabbouleh, salata, tahini and labneh. This was very good, and we tackled it with zest, devouring it with the accompanying pita bread. We also ordered the falafel, chicken shawarma platter and beef kebab platter. The chicken shawarma was decent, but I would have loved more chicken and bigger pieces. There was considerably more rice than chicken, which made the platter feel a little unbalanced. The beef kebab was better, with a good portion of meat and rice, and the accompanying vegetables weren't too bad either. One disappointment for me was the lack of a proper hot sauce. Something with a little heat and flavor would have paired really well with both the shawarma and kebab and, for me, would have elevated the meal. Overall, the food was good and the ambiance was pleasant. Service was also good for the most part, although I was disappointed that we weren't asked if we were interested in dessert before wrapping up the meal. Al Badawi is probably a place I would try again, but not one I'm in a rush to return to anytime soon.
