This location does not exist. It clearly shows that it is open on Apple Maps and has photos of their actual food, but there is no location here. It is an Indian restaurant. This is extremely frustrating because I came all the way from Harlem to get a Moon bowl which I had first tried in California. I emailed and called before heading over there because I noticed that this location was not listed on the website but no one answered the phone and no one responded to the email so I figured I would head over since it was the closest location to Harlem and they do not deliver that far. I have tried their food before and it is 10/10, which is why I was so excited and traveled 45 minutes to pick up food, but the customer service and availability of actually getting the food is nonexistent in this location. I also emailed them after the experience, but have still not received a reply to both emails. read more

Ok one day, extra heavy on the salt another day making the exact same dish inedible. This spot is also advertised under multiple names - **** carbs, moon bowls, and so on. It's also a ghost kitchen. If you order pickup and are looking for a store front, they don't have one. read more

Each option, in whatever form, packs a punch. With the exception of the egg, all their sides and sauces are vegan. Also carries Sweet Loren's edible cookie dough and edible brownie for dessert. Operates out of the Doordash ghost kitchen with only a pickup or delivery options. TLDR: not too many frills -- pretty tasty bowls for a ghost kitchen takeout, lots of great dietary accommodation options (VG, DF, GF, etc) and well priced! I ordered from here with absolutely zero expectations of what I would get and was pleasantly surprised. As I suspected, Moonbowls is part of a larger group of ghost kitchen restaurants that serve many dietary accommodations and have abundant options for any time of day's cravings and meal preferences. My bowl came hot and the ingredients were shockingly fresh given the price. As someone who doesn't eat meat, I greatly appreciated the hefty portion of tofu and the egg was indeed jammy! I also liked the customizability of the menu and many dressings and toppings to choose from. I wouldn't go here every night but I'd certainly order from here once every couple of weeks -- especially if they have promos. read more

Only reason I am not giving it 5 stars is because we've ordered Uber eats a few times and they seem to always fail in getting our order right. Usually they forget the extra avocado or fried egg... we get frustrated, but too hungry in the moment to call and complain, and by then, what's the point for a relatively low-priced item? Moonbowl's Sweet Chicken Kimchi with brown rice (you can also choose the citrusy kale option) was delicious and healthy! This item has a gluten free option. The chicken was so tender and well seasoned and marinated with KBBQ sauce, the vegan kimchi was nice. The roasted corn, peppers & onions, citrus marinated kale with green onions and sesame were all so delicious and refreshing. They also have vegan bowl options (avocado bulgogi & sesame surprise). I will come back to try the other types of bowls next time as well. Shop was spacious, with tons of seating and a nice back lounging area, and a very clean restroom. The staff were all awesome! The guy server was so sweet, friendly and had great customer service skills. The GM, Collin, was also very nice - he came by our table to greet us and we had a nice chat with him. I will come back here again as I often shop around this area! The food was delicious, service was fast, staff was above and beyond and dining in experience was excellent. read more

I really wanted to love this place. I was rooting for it. The food and menu looked so appetizing. I ordered a custom bowl (not pictured) and sweet potato postickers for dinner one evening. The food had no flavor. The fried cauliflower was oily and pretty bland which was so surprising because I expected it to be bursting with flavor. There wasn't enough sauce on them. The peppers and onions added nothing. The corn that I requested wasn't even added to the dish. Additionally, the potstickers were burnt as hell, dry, and the sweet potato tasted like bland mush. I spent $23 for disappointing food. 1/10 would not recommend. read more

Not at all sure why this spot has a low 3.5 stars! I just had a BBQ chicken bowl delivered and it came super fast and very fresh. The chicken has tons of flavor, the various vegetable sides are also fresh and crunchy, and the special sauce is delicious. Rice is cooked exactly as I prefer and I'm happy with it. Decided to try moonbowls via Uber Eats on a rainy Brooklyn night... the food was packed well and most importantly... tasty! I had the grilled chicken bowl w/ sweet potato noodles, roasted broccoli, and kale slaw and got Korean bbq sauce on the side. I also got Korean fried cauliflower wings which were also very good. Ordered from here to entertain a vegan friend. I am not vegan but I understand it can be hard to find a place where both vegan and non-vegan options are equal on the menu. This was great that she had just as many options as I did to choose from. She really enjoyed her meal and I'm happy that she was able to find vegan food that was delicious and satiating and not just like, the sad salads you find at other places parading as the only vegan option. I had the chicken bowl which was good. I chose to deduct one star because it isn't really any kind of authentic Korean flavor and tastes more like Korean "inspired" food. There is nothing in an authentic Korean restaurant that will taste like Moonbowls but it's not terrible either. It's still tasty but in its own unique creative way. Will come back here if I have to entertain vegan friends again because my friend liked it more than I did and I like to make sure my friends are happy! read more

This is a review of this location for door dash kitchens. I was pretty disappointed jn the food here. We got 3 items to try and each dish was lacking. First the cauliflower fried chicken. It as not crispy and had some type of gritty texture like they did not completely clean the Vegetable prior to frying it. It was too much sauce so it was just a mushy soggy mess. The impossible beef bulgolgi bowl is as a good size however the salad was drowning in water- I don't think they drained the kale prior to dressing it. It was pretty salty though. The impossible burger dumplings were uncooked. The bottom of the dumplings were browned so that portion was cooked however the rest of the dumplings were raw dough. Was also served cold. I'm not sure if this is reflective of their usual restaurant offerings but the ghost kitchen model is not great since it seems like the staff there are poorly trained in every cuisine that the ghost kitchen offers. It took a good 40 minutes for me to put the order in and I waited for the order. They only had 3 orders to process other than mine and not many delivery orders but they were SOOOOOOO SLOW. So not helpful when you have a limited lunch hour. read more

EVERYTHING was bland and tasteless and the cauliflower was so oily, it gave me a stomachache. the sweet potatoes were overcooked and dry, the broccoli was meh. the noodles were the only thing that were ok, even with the sauces that I got with it. This review is based on a single dining experience with a single bowl, but boy was it delicious! I tried the avocado bulgogi bowl and it was an extremely satisfying experience- just the right amount of food so that I didn't feel sick after I polished the whole thing off. The bulgogi was plentiful and not at all chewy, the avocado gave a nice textural component, and the kimchi and pickled vegetables were a nice counterpoint to the sauce. I got the chopped kale base because I wanted a lighter lunch, and it worked really well, but I think the brown rice might have been a better choice to sop up the sauce. Moonbowls is part of Doordash Kitchen, so ordering is super easy: you can walk in and order from the touch screen or order in advance on their website. I will definitely be back to try some of the other offerings. read more

I want to make my way through the entire menu, but can't because i just want to eat the same delicious things again and again! My only request is that they consider selling their bowl components as standalone sides. I would 100% order some of them in larger quantities to stock my fridge. Terrible quality food. Bowl was doused in weird sauces and juices. Everything was sopping wet.

I had the chicken kimchee bowl and was delighted! The flavors were fresh and balanced and the portion left me full for hours.
