Vegan gluten free white bread loaf
    Hannah L.

The first time you visit this Gluten free bakery, you'll probably be surprised to find that it doesn't look much like a bakery at all from the outside. It looks like a house, and when you open the front door you'll find yourself in a foyer in between the owner's office and kitchen. This can be intimidating or surprising at first, but don't let it scare you away! This bakery is unconventional, but the bread is well worth the adventure. Chat with Pedro, the delightful owner, and pick up a treat. The whole menu is gluten free and nut free, there's lots of dairy free choices, and they have a few great vegan options too. The vegan multigrain loaf is phenomenal, and the white bread loaf is great too. There's a reason this bakery supplies bread to so many iconic New York restaurants; the bread is delicious! They also do some desserts like cookies, cinnamon rolls, cupcakes, and custom cakes for birthdays and events. Celiacs, vegans, and folks with nut allergies should go meet Pedro and pick up some baked goods at this hidden gem bakery.

After 9 years of being gluten free with celiac disease, I had my first gluten free cinnamon bun. This bakery is a must for anyone looking for safe and delicious gluten free goods. The customer service was phenomenal and prices are super reasonable for the quality and range of options. We will definitely be back to try other hoods

The best gluten free cake in Brooklyn! After reading nothing but good reviews i put my trust into Pablo and CO. To make a gluten free cake for my wife. She has celiacs disease and cannot eat any type of wheat flower or normal cake at all. We usually go the route of buying a gluten free cake from some where that is boring, flat and flavorless. Pablo worked his magic and made just the opposite. The cake was decadent, moist, tasty and perfect. Couldn't even tell it was gluten free. He was very responsive to all emails and questions. Cake was ready before its estimated time and did I mention I got A free cookie when I picked it up? Good honest hardworking business here. Yum yum yum! Thanks Pablo!

Thank you for being open during the pandemic. I felt very safe ordering from here. We got a gluten free cake for my son's first birthday since I have Celiac. What a dream come true! I've never had GF cake this delicious and decorated so beautiful. Absolutely worth it! You can't taste the difference. It's a real bakery cake! So fresh and moist, and the frosting...perfect!

I got lucky and snagged the limited blueberry pie croissant on its last day. Their croissants are literally perfect. Light, airy honeycomb interior, a super flaky exterior, and a deep golden brown. I might just start making regular trips to South Slope for these pastries! Their chef Claudio was so friendly! He even offered to help us cut the pastries in half, which is how we got those flawless cross sections. *Blueberry Pie Croissant $11.5 The croissant was stuffed with blueberry jam and whipped vanilla cream! You could tell the jam was homemade with so many real blueberry bits, and they didn't hold back on it! The oat streusel on top was so good I was picking up every last crumb off the plate lol. * Kouign Amann $5.5 What really blew me away was their kouign amann... the outside is crunchy, sticky, and coated with a generous sprinkle of sugar. It's super buttery and pulls apart perfectly with gorgeous honeycomb layers. *Ham and Gruyere Croissant $8 I usually go for savory pastries, so this one's a solid pick especially for breakfast. It is bright, airy, and calm in that effortless way great bakeries have. There is an open kitchen so you can actually see what is happening behind the scenes, which immediately builds trust. You walk in and it smells like butter, sugar, and real baking, not artificial sweetness. Now the pastries. The croissants are the star for a reason. Perfectly laminated, flaky on the outside, soft and rich on the inside. Not greasy, not dry, and not overly sweet. Just balanced and thoughtful. You can tell these are made by people who care deeply about technique and quality. I tried a few different items and everything felt intentional. Nothing felt mass produced or created just for social media. This is the kind of bakery where you slow down, sit with your coffee, and actually enjoy what you are eating instead of rushing out the door. Yes, there can be a line during busy hours, but that comes with places that do things right. The staff is efficient and friendly, and even when it is crowded, the energy stays relaxed and welcoming. Miolin is not trying to be trendy. It is simply very good at what it does. If you appreciate well executed pastries, clean flavors, and a beautiful space to enjoy them in, this place is absolutely worth a visit and a repeat visit. Highly recommend...

I hosted a party in our apartment for about 85 people and the amount of food I ordered (7 platters- beef sliders, fried chicken sliders, coconut curry chicken skewers, beef skewers, mango jerk chicken empanadas, spinach & cheese empanadas, veggie spring rolls) was more than enough. My guests all were coming up to me all night saying how great the food was! I also hired a waiter (Rustum) through Bites BK who was a lifesaver. He oversaw the setup with Claudine, passed apps around, tidied up throughout the night, and made sure my guests were well taken care of. I HIGHLY recommend working with her and look forward to doing so on our next party! You won't be disappointed!

The space is small and dark, but everything is clean and well maintained. I remember thinking "Regina" owned the bakery when I first went inside lol, but I learned that it just means queen in Italian. As for the food, I tend to stay away from black and white cookies outside of Jewish bakeries as they're often disappointing, but these are right on par! Soft cookie, solid, but soft icing. Exactly like a Jewish bakery. The rainbow cookies have spongy cake and the right amount of jelly between layers. The chocolate isn't waxy as often happens in refrigerator cases. The pignoli cookies are another winner, although I preferred the pignoli free version, the amaretti. Chewy on the inside, a little crunch on the outside, just like they should be. And a light dusting of powdered sugar. Jam cookies and crystal sugar sprinkled cookies were similarly delicious. Apple turnover was full of apple and yummy filling, without tasting fake or preserved. Nothing at this place lasts long enough to need to be preserved! The muffins are inventive. I don't even think I covered everything... I got way too much and yet not enough. That's my only gripe is that some of the stuff I look forward to is sold out lol I really have to try the Cannoli! I know, I know... Marie is a wonderful host, as was the employee who served us.
