I got the pistachio cronut and it was mind-blowing--absolutely delicious and I wanted every last crumb. I didn't realize it was $7 until after I paid; it was truly amazing, but I'm still not sure I'd spend that much on a cronut again... maybe. I also tried another donut the worker recommended. I've had baked goods from too good to go (TGTG) from their sister brick and mortar shop in Park Slope, which was just acceptable. It seems like that's their MO here. A friend came over for a movie night I was hosting and brought a half-dozen donuts from Showroom Bakehouse. While they looked delectable, they were underwhelming. Maybe it's just my taste preferences, but when I want a sweet treat, I want to know that I'm committed to ruining my diet. The donuts here were iced and fried but didn't have enough fruit or sweet flavour for me, though I definitely knew they were baked goods I should not be having on the regular. The creme inside also was a bit bland, and the donut was too soft for my liking. Well I was walking around cause I came to Trader Joe's and decided I wanted something sweet so I saw the cookie an picked it. It was good not super sweet and the right alloy t of crunchiness while soft in the middle. Price wise 5 bucks and change so slightly in the pricey side but completely worth it. Note: Came here a good long time ago. Anyway, a lot of people apparently come to this spot for donuts and cronuts but I wasn't really in the mood for one of those as they're a bit pricey and I didn't want something too big as I was planning on eating something somewhere else so I got one of their cookies. The cookie was a special of day and it had matcha, chocolate chips, and walnut. Cookie flavor was pretty good though mostly walnut and it tasted a little bit under baked and the matcha flavor was very light almost non-existent so it was chocolate walnut. I don't mind a chewy cookie and honestly prefer it but this was pushing from cooked to raw cookie dough even though it looked baked. There's better cookie places and from when I can tell from other reviews, better dessert places but if you're looking for something small, it's not bad. read more

A nice little bakery in Dekalb market! They have a pretty wide selection of pastries, including cookies, doughnuts, canele, and some other things. The cookies are pretty good! Doughnuts are decent too. One time we were given a free one too, so service is very friendly and nice. If I'm not in the mood for ice cream when I'm rounding out a night at the Dekalb market, I'm definitely picking up a dessert from the showroom bakehouse. read more

Was craving some donuts so we decided to try this place. The Boston crème donut (2.5/5) was just all right. The chocolate was good, but the custard wasn't very sweet and didn't have much flavor. Don't recommend this one. The crème brûlée donut (4/5) on the other hand was good! The hardened sugar on top is actually hard like crème brûlée which was great. This one is good to try! read more

Nice selection of sweets in the DeKalb food market! They offer macaroons, pastel de natas, donuts, cronuts, berliners, and cookies. The employee was helpful explaining some of the flavors and what the fillings were for cronuts. I ordered the Crème brûlée Berliner and toffee cookie. The Berliner had caramelized sugar on top and there right amount of cream filling. The toffee cookie was my favorite! It was a chocolate chip cookie with toffee mixed in. This vibrant little shop has the best cookies in Brooklyn and it's not up for debate.

These aren't that good. I got a Berliner and a Crème Brûlée doughnut. While both were pretty, they were also pretty bland. They weren't sickly sweet which I don't mind but the cream in both of them didn't even have a taste. The texture of the Crème Brûlée doughnut I loved since it had a good crunch to it unlike the ones I've tried from other doughnut shops. There was a little jam in the berliner. I mean very little. That part tasted it bit weird. I'm 100% a jelly doughnut girl so jam in a doughnut doesn't bother me at all. The pink white chocolate added more dimension to the flavor of the berliner. I also have no idea how much the Crème Brûlée doughnut costs since I was charged for 2 Berliners. The desserts here are pretty but bland. It's like an attractive person with no substance. The deserts are amazing. I got cronuts and cookies. When I tell you delicious. They a simply delicious. My issue is the man working seemed to be so aggressive. It was my first time there and I was looking at everything off to the side so I wouldn't disrupt the line flow and he kept yelling. Are you ready to buy are you ready to buy? Who is next? I love a mom and pop bakery and The Showroom showed out! The pistachio cronut was crazy good! The pistachio don't have any artificial flavor, was overly sweet, the layers were fluffy and the filling gushed in your mouth in each bite. This was the perfect bite experience and the crème brûlée donut was dense but light, the top was crispy and fully glazed. Went here because I saw they had Cronuts. My wife loves cronuts. Like, obsessively will find places to eat cronuts. I got a raspberry lemon cronut, and a nutella cronut. My wife didn't like either - because she's a cronut snob. We both agreed that the nutella cronut was too sweet. Like overpoweringly sweet. Of course, it's a cronut and nutella. It was just too much for us. The raspberry lemon flavor was pretty good, but also sweet. We had difficulty splitting them in half with a knife and kinda smushed it all up. They had some other baked goods I wouldn't have minded trying, and I'd definitely check them out for that. And if you like sweets, you're definitely in the right place. read more

I am a fan of sweet. I saw they have the cronut. I gotta try them all. Since there were 4 flavors. I ordered one of each. Cronutz Special, Pistachio, Vanilla Pecan, & Nutella. Also ordered one extra Creme Brulee donut. Oh my god they were all good. Fluffy with good amount of filling and they were not sweet at all. Overall, they all have good flavors. The best one is the Cronutz Special, I believe that's a coffee flavor. The creme brulee donut was good too. I will definitely going for more soon. But will also try their other bake good.. Eek!!! I was so excited to try this place I seen a lot of tik toks and it looked delish, boy was I wrong. It costed me 11$ for 2 donuts which I was expecting anyways just because they look so fancy but I was terribly disappointed. These are not fresh at all, they're dry and crusty like they have been sitting out all day. I thought I was getting a glazed donut but it was hard shell molasses on the top I think I chipped a tooth. There was custard in the middle and I think they put 2 drops on the inside so I'm not sure how it tasted. My wife got the jelly filled donut and it was dry and hard. I love cronuts. I don't love these cronuts. Each is almost $7 and honestly pretty mediocre. I got the daily special which was tiramisu. To be honest it wasn't great. It was too sweet, the dough was falling apart. I also got a regular chocolate donut and I wasn't a fan. The cake was way too dense and the frosting was lacking. Each donut is about $4.
