Vegan gluten free white bread loaf
    Hannah L.

The first time you visit this Gluten free bakery, you'll probably be surprised to find that it doesn't look much like a bakery at all from the outside. It looks like a house, and when you open the front door you'll find yourself in a foyer in between the owner's office and kitchen. This can be intimidating or surprising at first, but don't let it scare you away! This bakery is unconventional, but the bread is well worth the adventure. Chat with Pedro, the delightful owner, and pick up a treat. The whole menu is gluten free and nut free, there's lots of dairy free choices, and they have a few great vegan options too. The vegan multigrain loaf is phenomenal, and the white bread loaf is great too. There's a reason this bakery supplies bread to so many iconic New York restaurants; the bread is delicious! They also do some desserts like cookies, cinnamon rolls, cupcakes, and custom cakes for birthdays and events. Celiacs, vegans, and folks with nut allergies should go meet Pedro and pick up some baked goods at this hidden gem bakery.

After 9 years of being gluten free with celiac disease, I had my first gluten free cinnamon bun. This bakery is a must for anyone looking for safe and delicious gluten free goods. The customer service was phenomenal and prices are super reasonable for the quality and range of options. We will definitely be back to try other hoods

The best gluten free cake in Brooklyn! After reading nothing but good reviews i put my trust into Pablo and CO. To make a gluten free cake for my wife. She has celiacs disease and cannot eat any type of wheat flower or normal cake at all. We usually go the route of buying a gluten free cake from some where that is boring, flat and flavorless. Pablo worked his magic and made just the opposite. The cake was decadent, moist, tasty and perfect. Couldn't even tell it was gluten free. He was very responsive to all emails and questions. Cake was ready before its estimated time and did I mention I got A free cookie when I picked it up? Good honest hardworking business here. Yum yum yum! Thanks Pablo!

Received a gluten free cake from here for my birthday and it was great. Definitely a good find and will be back in the future.

Ok this review might not be for everyone but Did you grow up eating Ring Dings and Twinkies ????…read more Well I found the perfect spot for you !!! My bestie told me about this spot and last year for her birthday she ordered the Ring Dings and boxed gifts . Can I tell you this isn't your old Ring Ding ! It's HuGE ! I finally stopped in for a visit and welcome to Betty Bakery in Brooklyn ( yeah I know I'm supposed to review Queens but I spend 1/3 my time out of the borough ) Located in Boreum Hill on Atlantic Ave between Bond and Nevins St is a quaint little shop that makes some retro goodies . They do other types of desserts but admittedly I love the Ring Dings . They are a chocolate lovers feast ! Thick chocolate on the outside cake inside with a bit of cream. The added twist they are sprinkled with cocoa powder on top . They also make vegan versions . The twinkies good too ! The only thing missing was the Hostess packaging ! One other thing they make small pies too both sweet and savory . I took home a steak and cheese pie that can be but in the over or microwaved and it was delicious ! Street parking but pretty much no existent since it's a residential/commercial area and stops right up the block from the B63 .

Delicious savory pies. Argentine and Brazilian chicken. Brought some home to reheat for lazy nights…read morein.

But this review is about something bigger than dessert. The strawberry cheesecake here reminds me of my mom. It was her favorite, and it was one of the last desserts I got to share with her. Anytime she wanted a sweet treat, that's what she asked for. Ordering it now keeps me connected to her. This past July, on her 3rd birthday in heaven, I placed an order to celebrate her. The menu only had cherry cheesecake that day, so I wrote a note explaining what the strawberry meant to me. The staff didn't just make it happen, they sent an extra slice of strawberry cheesecake on top of it. That kind of thoughtfulness is rare. The people here have always been this kind. We love everyone who works there, and we're grateful for the small moments of care they've shown our family. Thank you for everything.

I wanted to get the carrot cake as opposed to the carrot cheesecake, however, it was sold out. Instead, I purchased the Slice of Red Velvet cake and a slice of Blackout cake. Each slice was approximately $9. Not a terrible price; managed to get two slice of cake for under $20. I love how there is an option to dine in here. There's a full menu of coffee beverage options to choose from and a pastry to pair it with. There are also a variety of decorative cupcakes to choose from as well. I instantly noticed the Knicks championship cupcakes when I walked in. The establishment is relatively small but you can tell that they get great business here. The staff members who I engaged with were pretty nice as well.
