I recently went and got the filet mignon teriyaki and dumplings parentheses which were delicious parentheses) but I had to wait a while for my food because they had a lot of orders so they gave me my food for free which was nice. My favorite is the salmon. It definitely gets busy here , so you should go early if you want the salmon because it tends to run out. The staff is always friendly.

Love this spot for a quick and balanced work lunch in Williamsburg. The menu is pretty straightforward - you pick a protein (my favs are chicken breast and either salmon option), a base (rice or salad), a dressing for the side salad (my fav is sesame), and a teriyaki sauce for the protein. Overall feels very healthy / good amount of protein and their sauces are bomb! They have some small sides and canned drinks too. Service is quick and friendly, and there's a fair amount of comfortable seating.

Got groceries at Whole Foods one block away. Was about to walk to the L train when I saw the logo of "Glaze Teriyaki" right across the street. So, I decided to stop by for lunch. It's a decently small space but there're 7 tables with benches and stools. 3 long tables and 4 short, round tables in total. If you're lucky enough, you might be able to find a wall outlet next to where you're sitting. Been to the Union Square location before, didn't have a good experience there. However, I thought I should give this chained eatery another chance before saying no altogether. Glad I had gone to a different Glaze Teriyaki location instead because I've liked the Williamsburg spot way better than the Union Square one. Ordered the hidden fjord salmon (protein), white rice (w/ side of mixed greens) as the base, carrot ginger (salad dressing), and regular teriyaki sauce. They've different proteins from chicken thigh, filet mignon, ora king salmon, pork ribs to organic tofu. Menu is simple and straightforward. Sometimes, a great meal is just rice or mixed greens with the protein. You would place a food order when going in, order with cash or card, and wait for your food to come out. The utensils (forks, knifes, and spoons, & chopsticks) and napkins are all placed in the front counter. Whether you're vegan/vegetarian or a 24/7 carnivore, you're bound to find something you would like. I chose to eat here instead of taking it to go because I felt like the portion wise tended to be bigger compared to people's takeout orders. Additionally, it looked more appetizing as a whole in the rounded dish for eating it here anyway. Salmon was cooked to perfection, crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. Nothing was overcooked and didn't taste like piece of rubber. Mixed leafy greens were crisp and fresh with a refreshing dose of carrot ginger dressing. As for the white rice, it could've been cooked a little firmer because some parts were mushier in the middle but still very tasty. The regular teriyaki sauce tasted just fine and just enough savory sweetness with the salmon. Didn't pick the spicy or extra spicy version as I couldn't really eat spicy stuff in general. I like how there's a DIY sauce station on the side for customers to pour more teriyaki sauce in their bowl if necessary. Interior design is clean, comfy and simplistic: white tiles, light brown wooden wall, and white marble tables. There're tall plants and small plants by the entrance/exit, as well as potted plants on the side. Makes you feel like you're eating lunch in the backyard under the warm sun. Clean single restroom stall in the back. Everything was neatly stacked and organized on the shelves. Very fast service from super friendly staff. They greeted me with a smile and that made me feel welcoming. I can totally see myself keep coming back to this place for lunch or dinner whenever I'm in Williamsburg. P.S. Any main/protein can be prepared as gluten free (GF) upon request!!! - Until next time!!! -

Great place for a quick meal. They don't skimp on the portions. For 14$ you get a choice of two proteins I chose salmon and chicken breast with brown rice and salad. Everything tasted very fresh chicken was cooked perfectly , salmon was slightly over. Overall I enjoy going here for quick meals and will be back. Spicy teriyaki sauces here really have a kick!

What do you get when you combine a chipotle ordering concept with teriyaki stir-fry? That's Glaze. Choose your protein, your rice, your additions, and your sauce. No worries if you aren't sure about sauce when you dine in-house because there's a sauce bar that lets you try them all. If the 4-6oz portion of protein isn't filling enough, the cup of rice and any extra veggies certainly will be. The menu specifies gluten-free as nothing contains wheat, but if you're celiac, those sauces may have soy, so ask ahead. The service was friendly and fast, though I could also tell a bit under pressure from management; so there's that. The indoor dining atmosphere was clean and modern and fresh and comfortable for a couple or four friends to sit together at small tables with bowls.

Not bad, but was really average. About $13 for a bowl of rice with chicken thighs, and the chicken to rice ratio was not perfect with there being more rice than chicken. The salad was a nice side too. Service was a bit slow but it was lunch time, so to be expected. Ambiance is also minimalist and trendy, good for a quick bite.

Delicious and filling bowls! Lots of protein choices. You can customize how spicy you want your teriyaki sauce and what salad dressing you want. The place itself is bright and welcoming with plenty of indoor seating that's suitable for solo diners or small groups. Grass fed beef bowl was yummy, excited to try more!

UPDATE: they remodeled the Williamsburg location, still great vibes and service + a self-serve kiosk if you're in a rush and/or antisocial. Food comes quick, the spicy sauce is less spicy now after the changes they made a few months ago so I may have to venture to the super spicy sauce to see if I can handle it I need some veggies, will be back!

I've past this spot a few times and finally decided to give it a go with a group of friends visiting the neighborhood. My steak and salmon combo plate was cooked pretty quick and was tasty too. Portion size was reasonable given the price. I did really appreciate the gluten free option. My friend who ordered this had his bowl take a little longer to make (I'm guessing the GF mains were being prepared ad hob) but still enjoyed his bowl. My only complaint was that I felt the staff were not really friendly. We were rushed the moment we stepped in to be ready to order and we had a couple odd comments from the chef..

This is an enjoyable quick stop restaurant chain, with locations in both Brooklyn and Manhattan. I love the healthy food options they offer, and the teriyaki sauce they use is delicious. My go-to is their chicken teriyaki bowl with rice and salad. It's a good portion size and always manages to satisfy both my hunger and my tastebuds. It's nothing fancy, but still hits the spot. Good place to stop for a quick bite or takeout. Hot tip: Any main can be made gluten-free upon request.

I LOVE IT! I found myself in Bed Stuy, original mission buying doughnuts for a Saturday evening get together. Of course, one of my favorite doughnuts shop, Fan Fan, was where I was going to. However, I was craving a small bite on a beautiful sunny afternoon. I stumbled upon this cute corner cafe. Molina & Cafe was the name on the awning and I Yelped it to see what kind of food and I couldn't find it. Then I Googled it and the address For All Things Good popped up. Now I was intrigued. I climbed the steps inside and found myself in a cozy spot with smiling employees. I took a look at the drink menu on the wall and my eye immediately settled on Horchata. That's it! I was craving that and a side of Totopos with salsa. I went to grab a table outside and in five minutes my snack arrived. The iced Horchata was heaven in a glass: just the right balance of sweetness to wash down the spicy kick from the salsa. The totopos were absolutely scrumptious.. authentic and fresh. If I had a bigger appetite I would have ordered mucho tacos. But there will be a next time because I'm always in a Franklin Avenue state of mind. She acknowledged walk-in parties and later reservations of the same size that came in the door after us, lining up behind us. We had a reservation for 4. We arrived on time. This happened not once, not twice, but four times, the hostess looking past us to talk to people inline behind us or next to us, as if we were invisible. It wasn't until the 5th white couple she attempted to assist told her flat out that we were waiting before them, and the others she helped. I was looking for the owner or manager but thanks to this kind couple, that wasn't needed. Their blunt comments maybe embarrassed the hostess because only then did the hostess look at me rather than past me, and ask "how many..." she was ready to tell us there was no availability when I answered that we were a party of four as she looked around the dining room and gestured as if to say 'no seats'. I added that we had a reservation for 10 minutes ago. She asked my name and checked her tablet, then said "ok" and sat us at the table by the door. Once we were seated and situated, my young daughter looked up from her menu and asked me why was everybody else helped before us? She honestly didn't know. For those not familiar with having these types of conversations, let's just say that they can make even the best tasting pasta and pizza unsavory if you dwell on it. It's bad when a 7 year old notices they were "othered". Your mileage may vary, I'm sure there is more than one hostess working. I don't think I would recommend Barbalu to everybody unless you're getting take out, or you don't mind a "fight" to get service, assuming you insisted on eating here.
