For a healthy option the food was really good! The service was pretty quick and the staff were friendly. I was looking for a place that didn't use seed oils and from what the internet revealed Quinoa Kitchen didn't (just verify before going). It's definitely worth the stop if you're in the area! read more

I was in the area and wanted something healthy for lunch and came across Quinoa Kitchen. I always try to go to an independently owned spot over a chain if I have the chance, so decided to give it a try. You can order on a screen at the counter, but the folks working in the back were friendly and let me know it'd be just a five minute wait. There were a lot of people coming in and out with takeout orders, so makes sense to order ahead if you can. I was debating between the ahi tuna and salmon bowl, but eventually settled on the ahi tuna. There are a few different options for bases, I got lentils as a base and was happy to find that these weren't just plain boiled lentils, they were seasoned really well and had some onions/garlic. I unfortunately was not the biggest fan of the ahi tuna -- it had a strong fishy taste that didn't work well for me, but that may just be personal preference; the fish did have a soy marinade that came through though. Kale salad was one of the sides, really flavorful and adorned with chickpeas, feta and pumpkin seeds. There's also a vegan version of the salad available. I also got the cabbage/carrot slaw as a side for my bowl, all the vegetables were crunchy and fresh! There's a couple seats along the window, I stayed to eat there solo but definitely wouldn't fit larger groups. Really great option, and surprisingly affordable, and flavorful healthy food in the area. Would 100% go back, maybe just not with tuna as a protein next time. read more

I opted for the vegan meatball. The vegan meatballs seem to be made of either impossible or beyond meat and no seasoning was added to it. The tabouleh was the best parts of the bowl. The service was friendly and didn't take too long. I don't think I'd come back simply because there are other available options in the neighborhood. read more

I got the Angus burger and fries and it was amazing. The fries come with a curry ketchup which is very good. They ask you how you want your burger cooked, which is nice Super delicious and very filling. The burger has I believe a spicy sauce so it gets a little spicy, but definitely not too much and I can't handle spice- so probably not spicy for the average person. When I came in to order the food came out quickly. It's quite busy with uber eats and locals coming in to pick up. The space has about six stools and a counter that you can eat if you want to stay. And I came on a really cold day and the space was warm. read more

Staff were welcoming and pleasant. Place is pretty small. More of a take out vibe than a sit inside and dine. They do have stools by the windows as a seating area if you'd want to sit inside. I ordered a Angus Beef burger with sweet potato fries. The fries didn't come out fresh out the oil so they weren't hot like I would've liked them to be which was disappointing cause the were actually pretty tasty and especially being that I got a fresh hit off the grill burger. Which btw didn't stand a chance.. didn't even make the cut for a photo. I was too hungry and it was too delicious to stop for a flick. They also gave me what seemed like a ketchup with a kick on the bag which added more flavor to the burger and fries!! Yummy. Would definitely revisit. Happily satisfied. read more

Love them!! This is my go to for any salads. I found them on class pass lol and ever since I have been doing a lot of pick up. I love their salmon quinoa with avocados.. I have always seen them always busy but they are pretty quick. They are friendly. They do have a small area to dine inside and few beaches outside. read more

Another place where you can order customized bowls if you are a health freak! I did takeout and ordered the Angus Beef Burger and Angus Steak Bowl. They were very generous with their proportions and filled the bowl to the top. The angus beef in the burger was good and cooked right. Not dry but juicy and tender. Steak in the bowl was also tender and juicy! Will come back to try other options. read more

The sweet potato fries are amazing here. Also, their salmon with the green sauce is absolutely amazing. Service is always kind. One time they forgot my sauces which was tough but otherwise, its always great service for a pickup spot. Ambiance wise, it has a couple of stools for someone to eat at quickly. Highly rec for healthy, tasty eats. read more

Solid quick healthy spot that I find myself ordering for lunch when I need to get out of my apartment. While I like some of the fast casual spots, I really much rather prefer the fast casual spots which are independently owned like Quinoa Kitchen. The service here is very friendly and you see the same people working in the kitchen and at the front which is a comforting feeling. I've tried a number of their bowls and everything I've had has been delicious! You can customize your bowl with various toppings and they use all fresh ingredients and it feels very light and healthy. There is limited seating inside but I usually get it to go and the food is ready within 10-15 minutes after ordering. read more

pretty good quantity, really healthy options which i appreciate. the seared ahi tuna bowl was good and very filling, but the taste wasn't entirely upto par and could have had more sauces/seasonings read more

The food is amazing, but the portions and consistency with takeout is finicky. I love the salmon, but sometimes it's an incredibly small portion for the cost many times they'll forget the side of the sauce--I would recommend going in person or doing pick-up :) read more

All around good spot for relatively healthy eating. My friends and I got delivery. The sweet potatoes were spot on in terms of crispness. I started with a kale salad base and added Brussels and chicken ($14), and it was a hearty lunch while feeling relatively healthy. I don't even like dill very much, but the dressing was good and not overkill. It's the type of salad I'd eat on a regular basis if I was closer to this restaurant. There are lots of ways to mix and match dishes, and I'll be coming back. read more

Got a 2G2G bag from here. The meal included rice, brussel sprouts (very flavorful), cauliflower (great tenderness), side salad, and mushrooms. Pretty good for how healthy it is. read more

Healthy and good. It also isn't excessively expensive like many hip places around here. Quinoa Kitchen is a tiny little restaurant. Many people get takeout because there's no room inside. The bowls are good for takeout. A lot of items are vegan friendly. It has such a large amount of healthier options. The food isn't always that healthy, since it can be pretty greasy, but it certainly is better than getting something with all kinds of additives and shit. A great choice is the Impossible Burger. It's about $12 with fries. This tastes just like an actual burger, and even has a bloody and greasy appearance to it. A lot of critics question whether this burger is actually healthy, but who says vegan food always has to be healthy? Sometimes it's nice to just stuff your face with a big mess. Other items include the bowls. These are mixtures of grains, proteins, and vegetables. Everything here is made fresh. It's not always healthy, but it's always tasty. The place doesn't have much room so takeout is the only choice when all seats are in use. read more

WOW. Just ordered this on uber eats for the first time and it was fantastic. We ordered the wild salmon bowl, the Angus steak bowl, and the charred chicken breast wrap, and a cookie for dessert. I was just on a trip for over a week and always look forward to ordering food once I get back from a long day of travel and sometimes get disappointed by my order. This experience with quinoa kitchen was the exact opposite. It tasted like a home cooked meal and I even said "whoa I am such a bad cook compared to this place" LOL. Everything was literally perfect and so flavorful. Cannot recommend this place enough for people in Williamsburg. Also don't skip out on the cookie. They give you two and they're ridiculously good. read more

Delicious healthy takeout option in South Williamsburg - I had the grilled tofu, which was perfectly textured, over a bed of quinoa, with a side of kale, which came in the form of a tangy salad with bits of feta cheese interspersed. The real highlight of the meal for me was the pair of delectable sauces that I added to the order, including a creamy chimichurri that added tons of flavor to the tri-color quinoa base. Top-notch healthy option in the neighborhood ! read more

This place is pretty awesome in so many ways, I'll have to start with the items I usually grab when I'm in the area and that's their protein smoothies. Now this may sound biased and you may have a different preference but I've been using pea protein for awhile and it has done wonders to my belly. I use sun warrior pea protein and guess who else uses this brand? Yup, QK is on it and they make some pretty awesome protein smoothies packed with the goodness it promised (They didn't really promise me anything , I just put that there.) The smoothies are bangin, fulfilling and hands down nourishing the soul. Also I recall having their tuna and salmon on different days and it was grrrrrreat ! This place slaps and it's a cool chill vibe. Now the seating is limited because of the space but you can sit at the table facing out and watch folks pass you by as you consume QK's healthy food and feel your mitochondria just power up like Ken and Ryu for a "HADOOKEN" to the rest of your day. I don't think I've ever gotten service less than great here and again, I may be biased and a big supporter of mom and pops spots but I've gotten a service with a smile (but have some empathy for the guys giving a smile to everyone, the face gets tired. If you didn't get a smile it's because they are recovering from the 50 they gave to the previous loyal customers...I'll let them know to massage cheeks between smiles) Quinoa Kitchen is about health and wellness, they source their ingredients with care and you won't be disappointed. Try them out , 9 out of 10 times , it's gonna be a pleasant experience. read more

Excellent food! Friendly service. Would definitely return and recommend it. Of course get the quinoa with whatever you order... Worth it

Great tasting healthy food! Walked over to pick up some dinner for me and my SO. I got the salmon bowl with kale, quinoa and brussel sprouts. He ordered the sirloin with kale and quinoa that came with chimichurri. It was so tender -- best bite of steak I've had in a while! All the sauces come on the side for you to add to your taste. For my salmon bowl, I went with basil pesto. The cashier highly recommended the lemon dill so he generously added a side of it for me to try as well. The food was ready in 8-10 minutes. We walked across the street to pick out a bottle of wine and by the time we returned our food was in a paper bag ready to go. Will definitely be returning! read more

Big fan. Healthy, tasty food that is quick, easy, and not overpriced. I've been a couple times but most recently got the salmon platter with quinoa and asparagus and it was great. Salmon tasted really good and was ready super fast. FYI there's pretty limited seating in here - there are about 5 bar stool seats but otherwise it's mostly a good spot for delivery and takeout. read more

Really REALLY hate giving bad reviews but it's dangerous to add ingredients to an order that are not written on the menu description. The smoothie was ordered specifically because it does not list banana in the description and as I am allergic to banana, and as soon as I took one sip it was all I could taste. The salad also does not indicate that tomatoes are in it, which I also cannot eat, and to my dismay there were tomatoes. I left a picture below of the menu item descriptions for reference. read more

Ordered takenout and eat it at a park nearby. Oh how I miss indoor dining sometimes, but the view of the skyline wasn't bad at all, so yay for that. Had the Seared Ahi Tuna Bowl with Waldorf Salad and Peruvian Quinoa. The portion was filling enough. The tuna was very well seasoned and fragrant with spices. The waldorf salad had a nice texture and refreshing taste of apple and grapes intermingled with walnut. The peruvian quinoa was tangy and tasty. Overall it was a very tasty healthy meal. Price was decent and staffs were very friendly. I would have loved to give it a 5 star but my friend should have an avocado with her order but they forgot about it! We were upset but personally the food was so good and the staff was so nice I can't help but to give at least 4 stars! But I hope they will not forget a component in anyone's bowl anymore read more

Impossible Burger?? My tastebuds couldn't believe it. Quinoa Kitchen is my usual lunch spot since it's a couple blocks from my office. I've always ordered the steak and chicken quinoa bowl. This time I decided to switch things up and try their "Impossible Burger"....wow this was amazing. I couldn't believe it this was made with all veggies and plant protein with no meat at all! It tasted and looked just like a beef patty. I definitely prefer this now over a beef patty. Will be ordering again soon!! read more

I wish I tried this place sooner!!! I got the tuna with quinoa and sweet potato fries and it is so good. the service was excellent! the guy could tell it was my first time in so he explained everything to me very nicely and helped me with some recommendations. I was a little worried the food would be bland, but as soon as I opened my box I could smell how flavorful it was going to be! so so good and you don't really need anything more than what they give you. a little pricey but worth it for the quality ! genuinely so so good 10/10 recommend. read more

Great fast casual and healthy (!) lunch spot on Bedford Ave! Their space is tiny with only 4 chairs, but most people seem to take out or get delivery, so I had no trouble sitting and eating there. Their menu is pretty simple - choose a protein, side, quinoa or rice, and in a bowl or a wrap. They also have burgers (beef, veggie, or beyond) and pressed juices. I got the wild salmon in a wrap with quinoa + a side of sweet potato fries for $13. and it was DELICIOUS! I love that they grill the wrap so its warm and toasty on the outside. They cut it in half for you so it's easy to share, and the side of fries was plenty. I ended up saving the other half of the wrap for lunch tomorrow. I will definitely be back! read more

Yum this was super good, fresh tasting, and huge portion for the price. They are def not stingy and pack the whole box. Especially not stingy with the meat :D. avocado was perfect and they gave a large portion which is great because a lot of places skimp on avo but still charge hella for it. Probably will order this again within the next few days. Yuummmy Thanks for being awesome read more

I am a big fan of the angus beef burger, the black bean veggie quinoa bowl and the kale salad. All really good. They also have sweet potato fries with chipolte aoili sauce too. The fries often arrive soggy but I guess thats expected when you get fries delivered. They dont have pickles as an option for the burger but they do have these really nice carmalized onions that they put on the burger which I have come to love. For some reason no matter how many fries you order, they only give you one small container (like 10 fry dunks) worth of chipolte aoili. I can understand not giving out truffles or bacon or some expensive addon for free, but really? Why be so stingy with it. I ultimately stopped ordering from here just because I got consistently wrong orders and they forgot my sauce or drink plenty of times. When I call to ask, no apology they just say "Okay were sending it now" like thats great your sending it now but my fries are going to be cold and so will my burger so I guess ill have my juice later and eat my food with a water. They do have these great fresh juices too. Great spot though. Mix ups in orders happens all the time in the city, but the food quality is still pretty good. They also actually listen to how you want your burger cooked too. A lot of these places have "select how you want your burger cooked options" and they all do medium well regardless, but the guys here know how to spot when a burger is done medium, medium rare and well done. I am weird and have recently moved away from doing medium rare everytime since it arrives a little more soggy. All in all, great spot. If I am ever down there I will def stop in for the burger again! read more

So happy to have them back. The owner is super sweet and the food is healthy, fresh, and delicious. Eat here!!

Rating would be higher however, they are very cheap with their ketchup sauce. Literally only give you one tiny cup (tiniest cup I've ever seen!) & what makes it worst is that when you politely ask them for an extra ketchup, they refuse to add it. How rude!!!
