My Rice Bowl with Variety of Mixed-In Ingredients & Toppings
    Lonnie K.

Conveniently located by the L train like a block away. They seem to have good business and I do see crowds gathering outside from Pokeworks during lunchtime. Fast service from friendly and helpful staff. It's a smaller space compared to the one in Herald Square, but there're still 5 seats on the side and 4 towards the front. You can either choose to make a sushi burrito or a bowl with white rice, salad, ramen noodles ($1.50 more) or brown rice. Sushi burrito can only be made with white rice by the way. There's also the option of making a bowl with only one protein (kid version) upon request from customers. You've the choice of getting pre-made options or creating your own regular (2 proteins) or large (3 proteins). Choice of proteins are: bang bang chicken, regular chicken, plain tofu cubes, spicy salmon sashimi cubes, regular salmon sashimi cubes, spicy ahi tuna sashimi cubes, and shrimps. Can get unlimited mixed-ins (variety of pickled fruits, veggies, and herbs) and selections of dipping sauces in the bowl or on the side. Customers can get unlimited toppings without any extra charge. Cards and cash are both accepted. Additionally, pressed sushi and side dishes of miso soup and garlic spam musubi are being sold on the menu. Customers can take it to go or dine in. Ice, water, and plastic cups are provided by self service next to the handcrafted lemonade drinks ($2.75). Don't start looking for a restroom because there isn't one. There's an automatic sensor hand sanitizer by the door. Utensils of forks, chopsticks, and spoons are neatly stacked alongside with napkins and straws. There're two outlets in the wall, so you can charge your phone while eating. I usually choose to create my own bowl because I like to add in a little bit of each toppings and mixed-in ingredients to get my money more worth it. Two proteins are already pretty fulfilling and definitely enough for me since three proteins would be way too full. Love how fresh and tender the raw fish usually tastes....just like love in every bite! White rice is fluffier in texture compared to brown rice as it tends to be harder.

I order Spicy Ahi for delivery. Tuna is fresh, sauce is good, nice combination. I try custom poke bowl before and somehow it just didn't come out right so this time I just decided to pick one that they already create and it is one of their popular menu.

Fresh tasting poke was made to order. Staff was friendly and available to answer questions for us 1st timers. Brightly lit and clean inside. Good for lunch. Easy to find off L train line.

When I was working in Williamsburg, I ordered from here several times (through the app and in person) and it's been great. The portion size is great. The fish is fresh and nicely cut. The staff has always been efficient and friendly. There is plenty of space to sit and eat (though may not be the most comfortable). I normally get the poké bowl with shrimp and salmon as my proteins. You can't go wrong with both of those. The sauces are flavorful and you can go with however much you want (though 2 might be enough). The variety of different mix-ins and flakes is more than plenty. In one meal, you'll be satiated. Also, recommend getting the Pokeworks app so you can earn rewards and random discounts.

Ambiance-- warm lighting and very clean.

Favorite poke spot in Willyb and I suppose, all of Brooklyn! Always friendly staff, clean and tidy environment. Fresh tuna & salmon. Great bowl every time.

Ordered the Hawaiian Poke Bowl and it was fresh and delicious. The shop is very bright and the staff is super friendly. Excited to explore their menu!

poke works is the best pokebowl in the area! very savory and taste impeccable all the time! also, people there are sooooooo friendly. maddie is a baddie! she deserves a 5 star for being so nice! ambiance is very clean

Love this poke place!!! Poke is basically raw fish but cut into little chunks. You basically create your own custom poke bowl. I got a poke bowl with 2 proteins (I picked salmon) and then you can pick from a bunch of toppings. I got edamame, seaweed, seaweed, etc. Then I got the spicy aioli sauce (note there is a good kick to this). Everything was so fresh and delicious!!! Portion size is decent, I was full but not super full. I ordered via Uber Eats and my food was delivery fast and fresh! I wish I lived closer to this. There are multiple locations. I would def come back!

Pokeworks is my go-to poke place in Williamsburg. The portion sizes are healthy, the fish is always fresh, and the staff have always been great. I've ordered in store and via delivery and it's always super consistent, which is really nice. I also really like that they have a lot of sauce options and they allow you to choose your sauce level, which isn't the case at a lot of poke places.

    Poke burrito: seared salmon

Poke burrito: loose, falling apart; unevenly distributed toppings Cucumber: limp, slimy Avocado: very little, only in two spots Rice: slightly stale; plain, not sweet/acidic (not a con, just a note)

    Leemor Y.

Very solid poke place. You can still go in and order during COVID, though there is no outdoor seating. My favorite is just creating my own custom bowl. I'll typically do a bowl with salmon, shrimp and/or tuna, and layer on lots of the toppings (don't miss the yellow radishes!). Definitely get some poke and sauce as well. I usually combine it with the spicy ponzu.

On my most recent visit, I decided to go for a poke salad (no rice) to keep things low-carb. I chose the spicy salmon as my protein, and loaded it up with cucumber, edamame, mushrooms, kani salad, pickled ginger, green onion, kimchi, seaweed salad, roasted seaweed, and topped it off with the spicy ginger sauce. It did take a bit of time to assemble, but the fresh flavors and variety of toppings made it worth the wait. My favorite toppings were the mushrooms and the kani salad for sure. I appreciated the different protein options, as well as the many sauce options. One thing I really like about Pokebowl Station is the flexibility--whether you want a premade poke bowl or want to build your own. You can choose from sushi burritos, white rice or brown rice bowls, or a poke salad (no rice), which is great for different dietary preferences. They have a little card where you can mark your choices, which makes ordering easy and clear for both you and the staff. There's some seating inside if you want to eat there, but the bowls are also easy to take home. Overall, it's a reliable spot with fresh ingredients and lots of options to mix and match!

I love how you can pick unlimited toppings and there's so many to choose from. The mango was also really fresh and sweet which was such a pleasant surprise. I got a two protein bowl: tuna and salmon with sauce only the side. The salmon was fresh, tuna seemed not as fresh as the salmon but still ok. The zucchini noodle base is an absolute must try. It was my first trying zucchini noodles and it works so well in a poke bowl. They were fresh and crunchy, eating with the rest of the bowl felt like a kani salad with the cucumber crunch. The two sauce I had: lemon ponzu and sesame shoyu were both okay, nothing too special. Even without too much sauce, the bowl was already so flavorful with all the toppings. The staff were really sweet and the inside of the establishment is very clean. I had the peach Fritz to drink and it was refreshing and tasted just like peach. The food was very fairly priced and the portions were huge. We got the pork soup dumplings, pork fried rice, szechuan chicken (which came with white rice), and pad see ew (which though not listed comes with pork, chicken, and shrimp). Everything was solid, but our favorite was the fried rice which had a ton of flavor. I liked the veggies that were in the chicken dish but there were just way too many of them compared to the chicken and I wasn't crazy about the sauce. The pad see ew wasn't made the traditional way I've had it with soy sauce and oyster sauce. It had some sort of orange sauce that tasted closer to a sweet and sour. It wasn't bad it was just not what I was hoping for. The soup dumplings were solid, no complaints there. And the fried rice was great, lots of flavor. Overall, I liked this place especially for the price but I'd probably order different things if I went back.

I noticed there were a lot of takeout orders, from delivery services to local folks picking up their regular dinner. I looked over the menu and decided on salt and pepper wings and an order of shrimp. Fried Rice came out first and it was delicious.
