Nothing to write home about. They have quite a large menu with options of toasts, smoothies, pastries, parfaits, things like that. I normally get Weekends Cafe as a delivery and it always comes packaged well (love the baby blue packing and logo it is so cute!) I've never had any complaints about spillage or my food arriving ice cold. The coffee is one of the best coffees I've tried. The breakfast burrito is my go-to, and it hits each time! I've never been inside the place, just did takeout only. Fast and reliable service! I ordered the matcha and latte and they wrapped it up really well to prevent spilling so that's a good thing! The breakfast platter that I ordered was good. Came with brown toast, sausages, bacon and home fries. Home fries were a bit on the dry side but still good with the sauce. Sausages were cut up for you so you don't need to cut it yourself. read more

It's true that Weekends had a lovely outdoor seating area - there's a bench, a couple of little tables along the sidewalk, and several more small tables with seats in the adjacent outdoor dining structure. They also had wifi, which is a major plus, especially given that they have no indoor seating. Cons are that it's very overpriced, as others have pointed out, and that service can be surprisingly slow (e.g. waiting a long time outside of the shop to even place the order). I also didn't enjoy their drip coffee, but my friend did like the cappucino, so that might be more worth it. Honestly, though, I came for the vibe so that I could get some caffeine in me and some work done on a lovely day, and Weekends provided that. 3.5/5, with their seating and wifi being a major redeeming factor. read more

I walked here one afternoon for lunch and got myself a breakfast burrito and a chicken kale salad to go. The juices are wayyy pricey in my opinion but I ordered one anyway at the request of my partner... It comes in a bottle to go, which does prevent spillage when you're riding your bike home! I'm not entirely sure how this place has such good reviews. I'd say the staff is friendly, the food is decent (the tacos/burritos are okay for the area), but the coffee is atrocious. I had a vanilla latte that pretty much tasted unpleasant. Literally like something I'd make at my workplace coffee machine, but I paid $7 for it. Definitely skip this place for drinks. read more

This is a great spot for a quick lunch before you jaunt over to Domino Park to get your steps in for the day. There are many coffee, smoothie, and breakfast burrito and sandwich choices. It's a bit pricey as I paid about $15 for a breakfast burrito with turkey bacon but alas, we are in Williamsburg. There is outdoor seating but since it's enclosed, I can imagine it would be very toasty on a warm day. Definitely more of a grab and go place. read more

The chipotle cream is a nice touch. Currently taking orders inside and they have you wait for your order outside. There is usually no line. Outdoor seating available. If you're getting food, I suggest ordering in advance and going to pick up your order. Otherwise, expect a 15-20 minute wait. Normally I would recommend this restaurant since the food and drinks are pretty solid and they have a good amount to gf options. However, whoever prepared my order today taped my hot matcha latte with some form of heavy duty non-masking tape all the way over the lid and onto the cup on both sides ( instead of the normal paper tape) and once I was home and was trying to remove the tape carefully, the entire cup came apart with the lid and of course my apartment including the rug and 6 month old article couch got sprayed and I have a first degree burn to my thigh. Literally made my morning as bad as possible!!! Why would you use tape that's that sticky and strong over a lid of a hot product??? I was so excited about this place until we had a VERY unpleasant experience. My boyfriend got us two iced coffees, mind you they were $15 dollars (insane) with tip. It is also scorching hot out. They first rudely tell him to wait outside, then bring him two hot coffees. My favorites are the chicken burrito, chai latte, ice or hot latte and the dates smoothie! I have never been inside the store itself but one thing that makes this spot stand out is the fact that when ever I have a special request, they make it happen and even send me little notes to explain the accommodations.
