As long as I've lived in this area, this was Summers and recently it changed to Weekends. Though the vibe is similar, the name (obviously), owners, and some menu items are different. Most noticeably, they have a more extensive lunch food menu, which now includes different kinds of tacos, burritos, sandwiches, and wraps. I was initially unsure about this change because Summers was a local staple, but overall I think I'm happy with the updates. The lady who took my order was really nice and got my food out super quick, which was always my complaint with Summers - everything always took so long to come out! I went with the grilled chicken wrap which was filled with lots of really fresh and tasty ingredients and juicy chicken. It's $10 which is a few bucks more than what I would pay for a larger sandwich at the bodega on the corner, but sometimes you just want something different and are willing to pay Williamsburg prices for it! I like that they still have the smoothie menu and the breakfast sandwich from the Summers days because those were my favorite things to get, but have added more enticing things overall! read more

My boyfriend and I come to weekends multiple times per week. Keith, the owner, is so incredibly sweet and always has a smile on his face. All of the breakfast options are super fresh and delicious. Apart from the bad attitude of the guy who took my order the food was great. The only place I've wanted to go back to since being in Brooklyn. But again the guy at the register, it's like he could sense I wasn't from here and had an attitude because everyone that came in behind me he was so kind to and had conversations with. Again NY, too much to ask for a simple flavored syrup for coffee drinks. It's totally not too much to ask to keep 3 flavored syrups at an establishment. I've given this place several tries because I genuinely like the coffee, but they have actually never gotten my order right. Items are always missing. Instructions aren't followed.
