Love this place. Everyone who works here is always so happy and friendly. The food is fresh and so good. They seem to have a lot of specialty coffee. Smoothies and fresh baked goods. I usually always order the Lox Bagel Sandwich. The house sauce is amazeballs and always slaps.

This is a very solid coffee shop! I was in the neighborhood and washed a quick bite and coffee and wandered it. The staff may be the kindest coffee house staff in Brooklyn. The food was good (I had a croissandwich) and the coffee is ready as well. The cafe itself is a nice size and very clean. Solid vibe. Would happily return again.

Quick to order and the food came out fast too. Coffee was delicious. The only downside is there isn't much seating/space. Service was good!

The interior of the cafe was beautifully decorated and the staff were nice and ready to take our order. The food was ok but not the best lox bagel I've had before. I think their more known for their drinks.

The food was not great if we're being honest. The lack of cream cheese on the bagel was criminal. We ordered lattes and those ending being ready significantly later than the food, and weren't worth the wait. The BEC cheese was fine. It was a Monday, so it could have been an off day, but it was overall not great and we left disappointed.

This place is super cute and vibey~ There have comfy couches, it's not too crowded, and enough speciality drinks / sandwiches to keep you fed and warm. Came in here on a Sunday~ and we got sandwiches and coffee. It was nice working here and I enjoyed the environment. This is definitely a "true cafe" ie, they serve chips instead of fries. And the service can be a bit slow~ because they have like 2 people working but if you're looking for a new change up for a cafe would recommend! Drink and sandwich came out to be ~$25p but not horrible considering the sandwich I actually ate in two meals.

Awesome, dog friendly, local coffee shop. The barista was super friendly and helpful. Coffee is delicious and there's plenty of options to mix it up. They also have bagels and pastries to snack on if your hungry. Definitely recommend if your in the area looking for a good cup of coffee.

Social House Cafe was the perfect place to meet a new friend I made in the city! A compact but well designed space, the cafe felt cozy but spacious at the same time. First things first - the drinks. I decided on a Cinnamon Crunch Latte, not expecting to get a Cinnamon Toast Crunch Latte!!! I was pleasantly surprised to see a piece of my childhood on the top of my morning coffee, and even more glad to find out the drink was not too sweet at all! My lovely friend ordered the nutella latte, but not being a coffee drinker, she didn't enjoy it too much (sadly, nutella can't fix everything...). The croissantwich was the perfect way to wake up in the morning. The flaky, crispy croissant filled with layers of goodness - eggs, avo, cheese, and a delicious green spread (the contents of which I am blissfully unaware). The staff were really sweet and despite forgetting about my order, made it quickly once I asked about it! Overall, a great spot to check out if you're in Williamsburg

    - food was extremely mediocre. We were actually worried that our bacon wasn't cooked all the way; it was very floppy and pale. The cheese on the croissant sandwich felt and tasted like a Kraft single. The chicken really didn't have any taste to it. We couldn't finish any of it - the lattes were tasty - ambiance is cozy inside, seating is nice outside

Photo looks more appealing than they were. Waffles with fresh berries. Waffles were cardboard. Fake, sugar syrup.

I will start by saying that everyone who works here is friendly, helpful, and welcoming. However, the food and coffee was lacking. It's ok for a coffee bar, but I got the waffles and they must have been frozen before. They tasted like cardboard. And I think they were like $14 or something around there. I picked this spot because I wanted a cafe I could sit and read at for a little while and get a coffee. On a Saturday or Sunday in Williamsburg, it's impossible to find a cafe or coffeeshop that isn't mobbed. So, I will say that this fulfilled that need for me, but the ambiance wasn't great either. Kind of weird, off vibes. Great staff! But I won't be coming back. Overpriced for the quality of what you get :/

If you have to poop, look elsewhere. This place is not for you. The bathroom is barraged with anti-pooping literature. Pooping is NOT allowed here. Take note, you will be shamed if you poop here. Otherwise, my latte was good and the service was good. I'd come again. -1 star for not being allowed to poop.

Absolutely amazing! The place is beautiful and staff are super friendly and the food is delicious. I love that you get a lot of food as well for the price. It's definitely not like other expensive restaurants and you only get a small amount of food. Croissanwich & Lox Bagels for Breakfast are delightful But what make it better is that GreenGoddess Sauce It's bomb The Lavander Latte & Their Fall Latte Are insanely Amazing Alex & John are the best When it comes to know How to make a great Coffee!! Im a regular Customer, the staff already know Exactly what i want. Definitely a place to enjoy

The caprese sandwich was good and the attendant was lovely, but $20 for a sandwich and a bottle of sparkling water to go is not it.

They've kept this place in good condition. Lots of seating and menus everywhere. It once was an Art Deco bank, you can kind of get the feel of that just from looking around. If you look at the mural behind the cash out point it gives you a little touch of history what once happened within these walls. I ordered the salmon toast. It was a little hard but I like the cream cheese was thinly spread not just thrown in like many places. The salmon was good and the mint tasted fresh. The capers were like slightly toasted and crispy, i've never had them like that before and I loved it. I think the toast was just missing a little drizzle of olive oil on top. To be honest, I think the capers were my favorite part. They were just this unique texture. I've never experienced before. I also got an iced lavender chai latte to go. It was so light and delightful, with the perfect blend of lavender. I really enjoyed this place and would totally come back again.

When you enter there is a bar you can sit at and two large high top tables next to it. As you walk further in there is a lounge with couches and various sizes tables. The whole space is surrounded by books! Heaven! We ordered a chai, matcha and a ginger cookie. Shout out to the woman taking my order for comping me my drink for my birthday! Everyone from the staff was friendly - I really enjoyed being there. The only thing I would say is someone should come by to check on the tables more often as I had to return other people's abandoned drinks. But you know what first world problems, am I right? Maybe they can have a sign or mention to customers to return their own cups before leaving. I sort of can't imagine why people don't... It is quite popular spot so you need to be very patient and strategic if you want to grab a table, as well as sprinkled with a little bit of luck. We unfortunately got there a little late. I went there at 3pm and hunted for a table and my friend got there by 330pm. By the time we ordered and started drinking our coffees - we were informed the lounge area will be closed at 4pm to prepare for the evening wine bar. Oh right this cafe turns into a wine bar in the evenings! How cool! At 4pm we thankfully grabbed one of the high tables - sharing it with another couple but it was large enough for the 4 of us. The lights dimmed and the atmosphere changed to more intimate. We unfortunately had to leave at 5pm, but I imagined picking up a James Baldwin book, ordering some white wine and enjoying both.... Mmm definitely next time. Maybe sometimes after work - sounds like a great wind down.

We tried the melon shaved ice $22 for the large which was a bit pricy but it was quite delicious. We were worried that the large might be too much for two people but honestly we were able to finish it without a problem. The melon pieces were sweet, the ice is milk based so it was creamy and flavorful on its own. We barely used the condensed milk that it came with (and we loved how they put it on the side for us instead). At the bottom of the shaved ice was cereal pieces and mochi which gave a nice different texture. We also tried their drinks specifically their blue lemonade and mango-ade which I thought was just ok. The highlight is definitely their shaved ice. Definitely go for the large as the small seemed much smaller and for double the price, you can get almost 2-3x more. Overall: it's a great place to grab a shaved ice and relax . The atmosphere is chill and you can stay without feeling rushed.
