19 Cafe - Iced Chai Latte and Double Strength Iced Coffee - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Brooklyn, New York

Stopped by 19 Café in Brooklyn and really enjoyed my experience. The coffee was smooth and flavorful definitely a step above your average cup. What really stood out to me, though, was the ambiance. The space has a relaxed, artistic vibe with interesting artwork on the walls and a variety of cool, eclectic touches throughout. It's the kind of place where you can sit and think, work, or just enjoy your drink and surroundings. I'll definitely be back to try more of their menu! read more

Best BEC i've ever had, coffee is delicious, and staff were super friendly. They also have a bunch of fun pins and trinkets for sale, and the overall vibe was super cozy and eclectic. I will be coming back any time i'm in the neighborhood! Had to come back and add more details. This is how i described the bec to my friend: It's crazy. the bagel is fluffy and perfectly toasted, egg cooked perfectly it's like creamy but not too runny, and bacon is marinated in some like soy sauce chipotle type stuff so it's super flavorful but there's no actual sauce so it isn't messy read more

Cute and cozy coffee shop with an excellent selection of sandwiches. Loved the kimchi breakfast sandwich on multigrain, it was pretty unique, the egg was nice and runny, and it was stuffed with fresh tasting kimchi. Coffee is a little on the pricey side but also quite good. Seating can be limited at peak times and you may have to wait for your coffee, most of the time there is only one barista. read more

Excellent food for a reasonable price! My friend and I split an egg, cheese, and avocado sandwich on a bagel and the egg and beans toast. They were both delicious. The toast has a bolder flavor that started as our favorite but in the end we were glad we only split one instead of one each. The sandwich was well balanced and we wished we got one more. The service is quite slow because of the ratio of staff to people ordering. Ideally they should hire more people to work in the kitchen to improve wait time. The space is cute, eccentric, and clean! read more

This place shows what happens when everything aligns perfectly. These meals represent excellent value for the quality. The quality here seems impossible to maintain. Workers here delivered perfectly timed service. Our visit was completely enjoyable. read more

We made the mistake of forgetting it was a holiday and unfortunately (fortunately?), our original brunch destination was closed. We happened to find this gem a short walk away and were so pleasantly surprised! We ordered the Paris sandwich with pork belly (nice thick slices of pork belly) with tangy sauce - reminds me of Banh mi as others have said before. We also ordered a toast sandwich with Korean Spicy BBQ Chicken (contains kale, egg, and cheese). Both were delicious and bread was toasted perfectly. There are a handful of small tables for two and one larger table for a group indoors for seating. read more

Very cute little Cafe literally steps away from my apartment. Breakfast sandwiches and some lunch items are great staples on the menu that has something for everyone. I stopped in for a quick bite with My husband and toddler. He had the shrimp avocado toast, toddler had a bagel with cream cheese, and I had the spicy chicken banh mi. Bonus: they have good bagels! The prices are decent and the food was fresh. It came out quickly and the Cafe is very quiet and peaceful. We like stopping in for a quick bite. Great neighborhood spot! read more

19 Cafe - Avocado 7. Avocado Mash, Shrimp Sandwich Breakfast - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Brooklyn, New York

Finding 19 Cafe was such a treat!! The cafe is small but homey and has lots of different things to choose from. I ordered a bagel, egg, and cheese with avocado which I don't think was on the menu but came beautifully prepared, but more importantly exceptionally delicious. I don't think I've had a better bagel egg and cheese and the avocado really was the cherry on top. They also added a little I think it was sriracha mayo which was subtle but took it to the next level. I also ordered a matcha which I was really happy with, the good quality of the matcha was noticeable. Would love to come back if in the area! read more

Awesome coffee and bagel shop, with a variety of options for bagel sandwiches -- including more traditional items like bacon, egg and cheese... to a little change of pace like kimchi. Fast and affordable with cozy indoor seating. I'm sure it can get crowded easily on weekends, but worth the visit for a good breakfast bagel or sandwich read more

As a Korean American I can say this place made my entire day. They have more traditional American options for food but the Korean BBQ sandwich brought me back to my Ummas kitchen with every bite I took. The kimchi also was clearly homemade, it was phenomenal. The ambiance was relaxed and comforting, and the service was inclusive and positive. 10/10. read more

19 cafe is one of my favorite spots in Brooklyn! The aesthetic and design inside is extremely cool. There are a few tables for seating inside and outside, but I wouldn't say this is a place for large groups so just keep that in mind. The folks who work here are extremely nice and friendly and will smile at recognized customers:) They probably have one of the best bagel sandwiches I have ever eaten. I normally get an egg, cheese, and kale on an everything bagel and I am always amazed by how delicious it is. They add additional sauces and spices that make it taste better than any commercialized bagel place down the block. Finally, you have to try there cold brew. I am honestly not a huge coffee person, but if I am ever in need of one, I always know to stop by 19 cafe because I know I will enjoy the taste and not have an upset stomach. I highly recommend coming by if you are in the area to try items on the menu. You will not be disappointed! read more

This cafe is truly a gem in the neighborhood. Not only is the food delicious, but the service is outstanding. I highly recommend the ramen and their Paris sandwiches! OMG... I was introduced to bacon egg and cheese sandwich when I arrived in New York, in 1994. It's basically a typical breakfast here. But a month ago for the first time I tried the bacon egg cheese at this cute cafe and I have to say this is the best bacon egg and cheese sandwich I have ever had in my life! My kids loveI ordered one on toasted Bialy and can I tell you everything is heaven. Thanks again and I will see you tomorrow morning! Lol read more

This is a really cool and unique place. Great coffee. Very unique breakfast options. Some really adorable older neighborhood folks hang out on the benches outside. Lots of young hip people are constantly swinging by for coffee. I miss being able to go inside because this place had AMAZING art on the walls but I'm so grateful this business is still going strong. This place used to be cash only but the last time I went they were taking cards. Check out this hidden gem if you haven't already. read more

This place is a little gem near the corner of a quiet street. It is popular among the hipster and yuppie crowd and is a harbinger of the gentrification taking place in this predominately working-class immigrant neighborhood. Nice ambience, service is slow but the food is good. Oh and the coffee is very good. read more

19 Cafe - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Brooklyn, New York

Cute cafe with some good avocado toast. Food: Got the avocado and shrimp toast with spicy sauce on top. Sauce tasted like the spicy mayonnaise sauce that's usually put on sushi. The avocado tasted fresh and the shrimp was good. Overall it was a good combination and tasted light and fresh. The pieces were pretty big and the price was reasonable for two slices. Overall the menu seems pretty good and varied for a cafe. Seems like you can get full on things outside of the usual generic cafe foods. Great for a quick bite for brunch or lunch. Atmosphere: pretty small and cute but does have some seating inside. Star off because it took a long time to get the toast and people after us got food faster than us. Overall would come back if I'm in the neighborhood. Haven't tried the coffee yet so maybe next time I will try that in addition to food. read more

This is hands-down my favorite place in the neighborhood. Before I even get to the food (which is outstanding), I want to shout out the gentleman taking down orders and working the register. He is so kind and welcoming, and I always look forward to seeing him. The drinks are excellent, from the chai to the matcha to the iced coffee-- all fantastic. But the bagel sandwiches. WOW. I could go on for days about these bagel sandwiches. In short, this is the place I take out-of-town visitors when they're looking for a great bagel sandwich. I get the egg, cheese, and avocado on everything, and it never disappoints. Their special sweet/spicy sauce is my favorite part! Love love love this place! read more

My girlfriend and I stopped here on our way to Williamsburg for brunch one summer Sunday morning. The place was very nice with a hipster feel to it. The staff was welcoming and polite to us. I had the pork belly Paris sandwich while my girlfriend ordered the kimchi and hard boiled egg sandwich with an iced matcha latte. The Paris sandwich was phenomenal. The bread was very light and fluffy on the inside, while slightly crisped on the outside. The pork belly was cooked very well in what tasted like Korean bbq sauce, very crisp around the edges but not over cooked. The rest of the ingredients were nice and light, similar to a well made Bhan mi. As for the kimchi and egg, it was 2 open faced pieces of toast with perfectly ripened kimchi, a touch of sriracha mayo, and sliced hard boiled egg on multigrain toast. It just worked. She also seemed to thoroughly enjoy her latte. There were 2 things I didn't like. Both portions were a bit small. With that said, the food was very cheap. The amount of protein was also a not quite substantial enough. There just wasn't quite enough pork belly on mine, and it only appeared to be maybe 1 slices up egg between both pieces of toast on hers. Maybe these were just supposed to be lighter options? Either way, we were still pleasantly surprised by the quality and prices. I highly recommend stopping by. read more

Right around the corner from where I live and I'm just now finally trying this spot. It a nice small cafe really quiet on the inside. Bought a everything bagel with bacon egg and cheese and boy was it probably the best one I've ever had. Whatever sauce they use is really good it nice and sweet and I love the way they cooked my egg, the bacon was nice and crunchy and flavorful and they weren't cheap with the bacon neither.
