After passing by so often, I finally went in to get some hot broth for my sick partner and lunch for myself. Overall the food was tasty, the carrot ginger soup was amazing and I enjoyed mixing it with my rice. My partner had the immunity broth. We also ordered Grandma's chicken and rice, and the tofu chili noodles (subbed with rice). It was a decent meal overall. I felt a bit rushed when ordering, that I forgot to add a side of chicken. Other than that, this is a great healthy fast casual restaurant. Interior was spacious and appeared comfortable even though I took my order to go. read more

Do not ever order from here on UberEats, second time this has happened to me, food arrives TWO HOURS late, no one answers the phone, no couriers through Relay answer the phone, everything is cold. Thought it was a fluke the first time and then it happened again. Bummer. read more

Pretty sure I found out about Springbone from an ig reel or ad, and I was happy to see that while their basis is bone broths, they included a shiitake broth for the vegeterians/vegans. It was long in my bookmarks and I finally was in the area and had time so popped in. Built my own bowl which is sort of a risky endeavor. The ingredients are pretty wide ranging, so it's not quite the scenario where you can pick anything and it'll go well. My bowl was a bit random (by my own doing)--Thai rice noodles, butternut squash, tofu, cabbage, golden beets, cashew sauce and my side of shiitake broth. The tofu was too hard and didn't pack much flavor. I'll just say, my bowl felt like a random mix of things (my bad). I should trust a menu item next time but I didn't want kimchi which is what's offered in the veggie bowl. It felt somewhat healthy but didn't all quite go well together. I may have to keep it simple next time and not choose every veggie item that sounds good independently. read more

Delicious and soothing meal and broths especially if you're feeling under the weather. I ordered the Mexican and it was plentiful. My daughter and I both shared it so the portion of this bowl was that of chipotle but of course better. I also ordered an immunity broth, new root broth and bone broth. After drinking these broths for 2 days, I'm already starting to feel better. I definitely recommend the beef broth over the immunity broth for feeling better but they're both good. I'd definitely order more bowls because it's delicious and worth the price. read more

I recently tried Springbone kitchen out of necessity and then found myself back a week later for the same exact order. This is a fast-casual restaurant with multiple locations and to be transparent I have no knowledge of the benefits of bone broth. What I do know, however, is that their Mexican bowl is delicious. It is filling, flavorful, and a seemingly healthy quick lunch/dinner option. They have options to customize your own bowls and also have a number of other bowl options that I will probably find myself trying very soon :) read more

Finally! A broth and soup heaven! I do wish their broths had some spices in them to add more flavor and complexity, but I had the Immunity Broth and it was good. ABOVE AND BEYOND SERVICE ! Very tasty and healthy food as well. I grabbed a pickup order Sunday 9/8 before running to work in Greenpoint, I didn't realize until I got there that the bowl in the bag was not the one I originally ordered disappointing but it's a mistake that happens to everyone ‍. After calling the gentlemen (manager?) on the phone not only remade my order-but had it delivered to my job free of charge AND included a little treat as extra. I was really touched by the kindness! Bone broth is my go to for when I'm under the weather & Springbone is a reliable option (I usually keep one of their mason jars with broth tucked away in my freezer for emergencies). It's also nice to grab a cup to go on a chilly day. My personal faves are the immunity and liquid gold broths. Both are flavorful & feel soothing. They've recently tried expanding the menu beyond broths - I tried the grandmas chicken bowl and was pretty disappointed. The rice was cold and dry and the rest of the dish lacked any flavor. I'll stick to the broths for now :) read more

Finally decided to give it a shot after passing by this place many times. The Yelp reviews are mixed but I gravitated towards the idea that you could get a small cup of broth to go. Like a coffee. Except it's way healthier and good for you. Its perfect for an after-workout pick me up in the cold months of spring. Especially during this very weird time in our lives where our immune system could use a boost. The lady at the counter helped me decide on the immunity broth which is made of chicken broth, garlic, ginger and vitamin c. The concoction tasted amazing! It was not overwhelming salty. I'm not sure I can get behind the cost of it though. A small cup set me back $6.30 which is steep so while I won't be a regular customer, I'll definitely come here occasionally when I need that pick me up. My other gripe is that the cup, despite its best efforts, is not spill proof. Their cups/lids are in dire need of an upgrade. read more

Came here and intended to order the Grandma's Chicken Soup and I accidentally ordered the Grandma's Chicken and Rice instead. A couple of other reviews said the food is planned but I don't really think so. The hot sauce was flavorful even though it was certainly what I would call mild to medium. The chicken and rice were overall pretty good. I was really hoping for some broth and didn't really taste that in the bowl, but it was still good. I anticipate I will probably come back to try the actual broth. read more

Stumbled upon this place and glad I did. I had the grandmas chicken with cauliflower rice and found it super filling and felt healthy eating it. My partner also got the Mexican bowl and said it was like a much healthier chipotle bowl. We didn't find the bowls to be too bland but my bowl could have used some more of the hot sauce/ cashew dressing for sure! Don't believe the reviews you read, the food is awful and overpriced. The Mexican bowl is one of the worst things I have ever ordered, and makes chipotle look like a 3 star Michelin restaurant. I took two bites and got nauseous. The salads are slathered in dressing and can't possibly be remotely healthy. Hard pass. read more

We wanted to try the new spot on the block had got the grandmas chicken soup and sopa mexicana and the kale salad. They were both extremely bland and honestly hard to eat. The chicken tasted like nothing and I'm aware it's just boiled but for 14 dollars I'd hope to taste something. The soup base itself is ok but wish there was more considering the contents of the bowl. I personally love this place. I don't understand the bad reviews. I don't think people understand what a blessing it is to even have a restaurant that only cooks with olive oil, the meat is 100% grass-fed, free-range chicken etc. i'm not sure where these other reviewers are getting such mindfully sourced food for less than $15, that's pretty much the standard number everywhere you go. You can go to wholefoods where they are less transparent about what meat theyre using, and it's the same $15. Also for the people saying the food is bland, I think that they've just forgotten what the taste of food is when it's not drowned out by salt and seed oils. The broth is absolutely amazing too. People spend $5-7 dollars a day on coffee but for some reason $6 on a cup of broth is out of this world expensive. I guess it's all where your priorities lie, and your perspective. I've only had the beef dishes (please bring back the hamburger!!) and they were always great. Your body always left feeling great. The workers are always very kind as well. I frequent the Williamsburg location. To the owner of this place--thank you and keep going! read more

I really don't understand some of the bad reviews. It literally makes no sense to me. Springbone is soooooo good. It's not blan at all. My only complaint is that they need new to-go cups for the broth cause it's not spill-protected. Other than that, the food is to die for and a much healthier option than most :) read more

Got off the E train and when we looked for Chinese food, this place popped up with good reviews and it was just a short walk from where we got off the train. My buddies ordered the special lunches and we also got two types of xlb's, beef chow fun, and some fried dumplings. The special lunches come with a little fried rice, cold garlic flavored noodle, choice of egg drop or hot and sour soup, and main side. My buddies all enjoyed their meals. The beef chow fun was also really good and beef was nice and tender. The xiao long baos were excellent and is comparable to any place in California like DTF. Nice and juicy and great with some ginger, soy sauce, and spicy chili. Friendly service and food comes out pretty quickly. Credit card is accepted. Bathroom was also very clean, which is sometimes rare in some Chinese restaurants I have been to. If you're looking for a good Chinese meal, stop here when you're in the Chelsea area.

The place was pretty busy at 10:00 PM last Saturday, with a wide range of diners, which is good for business. The food though, at least that night, was really disappointing. My friend had the chicken dumplings. He said they were okay. I thought they were overcooked. My steamed shrimp shumai were fine, but steamed, they didn't have much flavour. The edamame, on the other hand, had way too much when it should have almost none. I don't know if it was excess salt, MSG or something else, but not good. I should have sent them back. I hope this was just an off night for the kitchen.
