Chicken bites a bit small, so make sure to order double portion -- Elote Bowl

I have ordered from here twice and both times veggie ingredients were fresh and the salad bowls are affordable in juxtaposition to big box salad competitor. The sourdough bread that is included is also strangely delicious...like so delicious that I attempted to Google the brand to find out where it was sold. I should have also prefaced that while I am a rustic bread lover, I am not a huge fan of sourdough, so that is saying something. My one call out would be for the restaurant to provide a better sear on their chicken. Chicken looks pretty unappetizing and could use some color..like it almost looks boiled or old. Also for those ordering, it wold be best to double the chicken since the portion size can be a bit small. All in all a decent spot to grab a salad.

I had been a Sweetgreen salads fan for a while and I think Eden's is better ! I got the GOAT salad with pumpkin seeds, sesame ginger, and apples. Locally owned and sourced from upstate New York, it was very super fresh to taste, smooth, and blended well with a lot of different flavors. Their packaging is also 100% compostable. They also dispose of their excess food with a local food rescue group at the end of the day. 10/10 good people and very delicious healthy fresh local salads.

Eden's is by far THE best salad I've had in terms of consistency and freshness (and trust me I've tried all the chains - sweetgreen, just salad, honeygrow etc). Although the menu is small, each one is customizable which is great for me since I don't eat meat and have certain allergies. When I opt for no meat, the price is lowered - which doesn't always happen at the salad chains! I've ordered on a weekly basis for almost a year now and they've introduced some new salads / ingredients to mix it up (and some cute merch!). Staff is very sweet as well. Plus if you're a frequent buyer you can get a cute rewards card to earn a free salad!

I was really hoping Eden's would make an equivalent or better version of a sweetgreen salad-- yes, I know it's a bad take as I hate to support a corporate owned salad chain, but damn if they don't make a delicious salad--alas, their salads did not live up to these hopes. Running the business out of what looks like a tavern/bar is kind of cool but I think that's where to cool stops. I make a lot of salads at home and feel I've mastered what makes a killer one. It's mostly about textural contrast, and each different vegetable, legume, and protein component individually has amazing flavor. Either via preparation (fried, broiled, sauteed, etc) or has been marinated or is just super fresh. It also needs proper crunch. I think Eden's just missed the fundamentals. You can tell via my photos but all I got was greens on greens that felt hastily prepared. Nothing seemed marinated or prepared with particular care and the ratio was off too. They went so heavy on base greens and were missing all the stuff that makes a salad worth the money. I wanted so badly to love this place and have a local salad spot. I feel like I'm missing something because this spot is beloved enough they have a second location, but it's unfortunately not for me. read more

Obsessed. The ingredients are fresh. The portions are perfect - never feel hungry or too full afterwards. And it's super consistent. I could eat my custom Caesar bowl everyday for lunch the rest of my life... and the bread is REALLY good too. This place is incredibly underrated/seemingly unknown by so many. read more

I am SO jazzed about discovering Eden's for salads. I am from CA, and have spent my life having access to fresh, delicious salads and have not found one in NY that has met my standards yet... until now. I got the elote bowl through UberEats, which was fresh and delicious, with a generous ratio of toppings to lettuce (even the avocado was perfectly ripe and generously portioned). I had been a Sweetgreen salads fan for a while and I think Eden's is better ! I got the GOAT salad with pumpkin seeds, sesame ginger, and apples. THE BEST! Perfect if you're looking for a healthy, quick and delicious lunch option! In a neighborhood without salad shops, Eden's isn't just a rare find, it's GREAT. Eden's is a reliable neighborhood option if you're looking for a quality salad on the quick. They share space in a neighborhood bar and have select hours, so this is really a lunchtime staple more than anything. They have a few options (I like the GOAT bowl), which is pretty similar to Sweetgreen's Harvest Bowl. It's pretty easy to modify to your specific tastes and honestly....I like Eden's more Sweetgreen. read more

The salads here are amazing !! This has become my go to lunch spot. Great tasting dressings, hearty cooked toppings and the sourdough is so good. There isn't a build your own option to select from their menu, but you can make some swaps or add toppings to their standard bowls if you want to customize. My only complaint is that they aren't open everyday and for longer! So happy to have a place like this nearby, I hope they can become permanent :) read more

This place is blow my mind amazing. I am a meat lover and always looking for ways to add some greens to my diet and rarely find a place I love enough to want to keep coming back to. Eden is my Eden. I had their GOAT salad for two days in a row (honestly at this point I'm too scared to try any of their other salads because the greatest of all time is too great already) and todays my third day getting their salad. Hands down the best salad ive ever had in my life. I usually go for food that makes me feel terrible but tastes good. This makes me feel good and tastes amazing. Everything is soo fresh and the flavor is perfect. Also if you like hot sauce they have this salad dressing-esque hot sauce that has the perfect amount of spice and flavor. Great salads. I think these are better than sweetgreen and I love that they are made to order and readily take substitutions. A suggestion would be to offer a fish protein option and quinoa instead of rice. So happy to have you in the neighborhood! read more

It was not great last time, but this time was astonishingly bad. He took my order and as soon as my food came out, he disappeared behind a screen and didn't come back out unless someone came in the door (which was only a couple times). Never checked on me. Never asked if I wanted another drink (my mint julep was awful, so moot point I guess). I had to wait for him to emerge when a to go order came in for me to flag him down for the check.
