A screenshot of an UberEats order receipt displays an estimated delivery time of 12:13 PM. The order includes items such as salmon goddess plate, cold brew La Colombe, health ade pomegranate kombucha, spicy chicken bowls, open water, and ginger lemon kombucha. The total cost is $88.81. The receipt shows the customer's name, Cynthia T., and the order details, with some items listed multiple times and specific notes like 'Provide forks please' and a jalapeno citronette for the spicy chicken bowls.

I ordered from Avo in Sunset Park IC again and, as always, the food was amazingly fresh and healthy! Everything tastes super clean and well-balanced you can tell they use quality ingredients. I got the Salmon Goddess Plate, Spicy Chicken Bowls, and some kombucha, and everything hit the spot. I always love ordering food here for work it's consistent, energizing, and never heavy. This time I threw in a surprise treat (chocolate bar!) and last time it was cookies. Avo never disappoints it's one of those places that just makes you feel good after eating. Highly recommend!

Chicken al Pastor - A takeout meal in a white container contains rice, chopped vegetables, and corn, with some food remaining and a black plastic fork inserted. An empty container with a single bean or nut inside is placed nearby. The setting appears to be indoors at a casual dining or food court area, with a black table and a blurred background showing yellow markings on the floor.

Tried the Al pastor, $16+ for a super mid plate. Everything had no flavor. Chicken had more flavor than anything else but still really mediocre. Guacamole was the best thing on the plate. I ate the chicken and the guacamole, ate some rice but couldn't finish it. It was not good.

Chill Out - A person holds a disposable takeout container containing a slice of avocado toast topped with mashed avocado and red pepper flakes, accompanied by a lime wedge. The background features a window with a sign that reads 'AVOCADO STOLE MY CORAZÓN,' indicating a focus on avocado-based dishes. The setting appears to be outdoors, with sunlight illuminating the scene.

Came in the morning right after they opened. No seats inside but has a huge table and chairs outside of the store. Ordered chill out toast. It has Balthazar seeded bread, avo mash, jalapeno citronette, chili flakes, lime wedge, salt, black pepper. First time having avocado toast with chilly flakes and lime. The taste is refreshing!

In the smorgasbord of excellent edible options at Industry City, Avocaderia represents the healthier option. This trendy little stand/counter is offering up tasty salads, bowls, sandwiches, smoothies, etc., almost all with avocado. That's why that's the name. Avocaderia. I'm surprised you couldn't put that together. We ordered the salmon plate (and I blame my wife. I wanted tacos and pizza, but she wants me to "live past 50"), with an extra side of avocado. The salmon plate comes with all kinds of veggies, half an avocado, and a smaller piece of salmon than I'd like on a bed of too much quinoa. The very nice staff just put an extra half an avocado on the plate itself, and sprinkled both with cashew parmesan. Since I'd ordered the extra avocado for my kid who doesn't believe in vegan cheese, I was forced to ask for another on the side and so we were blessed with three avocado halves for the price of two. Everything was coming up Milhouse. I can only report back on this salmon plate thus far, but all the ingredients were fresh and tasty. It was a little too heavy on the quinoa, and too light on the dressing, but these are the things we do for our health.

Prep area - A restaurant kitchen prep area features a wall decorated with numerous potted plants and a neon sign that says 'SMASHED IN NYC.' Two staff members are working behind the counter, wearing black uniforms and gloves. The workspace includes various kitchen tools, bottles, and containers, with a stainless steel counter and equipment. The ceiling has visible beams and lighting fixtures, creating a modern, urban atmosphere.

Service was great. I wasn't familiar with some of the add in's and they let me try them. The pepitas were so tasty. Overall, for a meal a little costly but a large portion and satisfying. Avocaderia is mostly a counter to order, but plenty of seating around industry city, indoor and outdoor. For a custom bowl with chicken and maxed out toppings including avocado, 15$. Average price for a meal like this in nyc.

Burrata bowl - A burrata bowl in a disposable container contains cherry tomatoes, mixed greens, corn, quinoa, and black olives. It is topped with burrata cheese, chopped nuts, and a small cup of green sauce. The ingredients are arranged in sections, creating a colorful and diverse presentation suitable for a healthy, avocado-centric salad or bowl.

I was happy to come across acovaderia while I was in Industry City for an event. They offer a somewhat healthier menu amongst all the other food vendors there. The portion sizes are pretty reasonable for the price, but it tasted a little bland, even with the olives mixed in. The corn was also a little dried out, which speaks to it's freshness. However, not the worst salad I've ever had.

Montage of images from Avocaderia - The collage features images of avocado-centric salads and bowls served at Avo in Brooklyn, NY. It includes menu boards displaying various salad and bowl options, the restaurant's entrance with colorful geometric decor, and close-up shots of salads with avocado, greens, and toppings. The setting emphasizes a trendy, modern dining environment focused on fresh, healthy ingredients.

Gee, I can't believe this spot was featured on "Shark Tank" and landed a $400K joint investment from Mark Cuban and Barbara Corcoran. I mean, it's a nice concept but hardly novel to Californians like me used to places selling avocado toast and avocado bowls. Jamie W. and I had never been to Industry City before, so we were browsing the the variety of eateries in the food hall. This one caught our attention because the skinnier Brooklynites appeared to be gravitating in their direction. As I suspected, the menu consisted mostly of salads and bowls with sliced avocado in the spotlight position. There were also some bun sandwiches where avocados were mashed as a mayo substitute. Jamie decided to go for the $14.45 Spicy Chicken Bowl (photo: https://bit.ly/3U1Tg4m). It featured spinach and brown rice mixed with chicken, avocado (of course), purple cabbage, carrots, pico de gallo, and crushed tortilla chips. The spice came from habanero hot sauce and jalapeño citronette. He thought it filling but rather perfunctory in flavor despite the spicy description. I ordered their seasonal flagship, the $14.45 Harvest Bowl (photo: https://bit.ly/3NrWPP3). It was a rather bland concoction with quinoa, kale, roasted sweet potatoes, goat cheese, chicken, avocado (of course), roasted almonds, and a balsamic vinaigrette they described as 'smoky'. It was all decent enough, and they appear to be successful enough to be building a chain of avocado eateries. I certainly don't question Cuban's business acumen though I know his favorite place to eat is IHOP. I'm just sayin'. FOOD - 3 stars...avocado bowls that just passed the grade AMBIANCE - 3 stars...a 500 square-foot space with no room to wait for the order SERVICE - 3 stars...rather robotic TOTAL - 3 stars...you can do a lot with an avocado RELATED - Hungry in NYC? Community food area where you are forced to eat.

I was a little disappointed after seeing a news report on the location in Manhattan and an interview with the owner. This is not a sit down location and the only place to sit is in the community food hall. There is no waiter service. Avocaderia is located in " Industry City" which are converted industrial buildings in Sunset Park Brooklyn. There are a lot of cool things to see here such as artwork, some retail shops and good food choices to sample. Don't get me wrong the food was good, the staff was nice. I would give it 4 stars for that. They have very healthy choices, juices, and Vegan and Gluten free options. The portions were decent although considering this is not a sit down location it's a little pricey. Especially juices in a bottle for $6.50. The rest of the experience was 2 stars. As you can see by the photos it is a small space probably 25' x 15' at best. I went on a Saturday afternoon and there were only 2 people on staff. There were about 10 customers. It did not take very long to get my order, although the whole thing felt rushed. You have to get your own utensils which are plastic of course. THEY DO NOT TAKE CASH! They sight health reasons although in my opinion it's just a way to increase profit by not having to deal which paying for change, having a commercial bank account for night deposits, worrying about employee theft or having an armed robbery (Not a bad thing) Even the credit card acceptance and process to have a receipt emailed or texted to you makes the customer work too much. In many peoples eyes this is discrimination against lower income individuals. The city of Philadelphia introduced a bill that passed banning retail store from not accepting cash. I don't think I would go back, the food was good, I just got the feeling that the owners care more about their bottom line than providing a great customer experience and making it almost completely self service.

Portobello Road and Lychee Dragonfruit drink

The best part about this place was the staff. They were pretty nice. However, the food and drink was not as great. I got the Portobello Road and the Lychee Dragonfruit drink. I'm sure they are healthier than alternatives but they seasoning was lacking. The drink wasn't very sweet. Considering the price, if I wanted healthy mediocre food I would rather just eat at home.

Mediterranean, Greek Islands, Twist and Sprouts
    Darya S.

My friends and I made the trek to brunch at Avocaderia today and we enjoyed it. It's inside this Industry City food court/shopping center, has no seats on its own, but there's (very awkward, not ideal for groups) seating outside provided by the building. No wait on a Sunday at 3:30. I got the Twist and Sprouts, which I may have fantasized for weeks and was excited for. I think it was overrated so I was let down. It was just average. I didn't enjoy the crunchy items, and felt that it was sparse in brussel sprouts. I didn't get full from it, either. 3/5. My friends' orders were better! They got the Prince Salmon (4/5), Mediterranean (5/5), Greek Island (5/5), guacamole (3/5 was bland and needed lime or garlic), and pumpkin soup (3/5 needed seasoning). Worth the trek to try once! Stick to the toasts. Seems that that's what they're best at, and will give you the most bang for your buck.

Since I very much like avocados, I've been meaning to try Avocaderia for some time. I was in the area earlier and able to do so. Known as the world's first avocado bar, Avocaderia is all things avocado. This includes avo toast, avo salads, avo burgers and avo smoothies. It's located in the food hall among many other eateries in Industry City. The store itself was small but cute and clean. No seating within Avocaderia but as with all food halls, there's a general area with lots of seating/tables to eat on the premises. This was my first visit and I was seeking something basic. I selected the Chill Out avocado toast. It was ready in just a few minutes and included one slice of toasted multi grain bread topped with avocado combined with some spices, lime citronette and chilli. It had a slight kick to it. There was the option to top it with an egg for an extra $2.00, but I passed. The colorful menu was affixed to the wall and my selection ($6.95) seemed to be the minimum with prices averaging around $8.95 and above. My opinion is lukewarm. I enjoyed it but observed the following: the layer of avocado seemed to be 1/8 of an inch (a bit skimpy) and it wasn't very filling. Couldn't tell you if other selections included two slices of toast or would satisfy hunger as a proper meal. Still, I'm glad I tried it and would give it another try to make a better assessment.

    Burrata Dream Toast

The "Burrata Dream". At first I thought that was an egg on top, but its cheese lol. The avocado and cheese was a good combination. If you are an avocado lover, this is definitely a place you have to visit

So! Avocaderia has been on my Yelp bookmarks for about a year and as a birthday gift to myself I ventured out to Brooklyn to check off this place! And so I did. We ordered the avocado sandwich, gust and chips, green bowl and a avocados smoothie-yes we went all out! Im y expectations were very high for this place! I expected a mouthful of flavor and I was highly disappointed. We ended up grabbing pizza from Table 87

Being a take-out operation, this is an ideal place to grab and go for a visit to the park nearby or even in the courtyards of Industry City. We ordered both the ESPAPI (burrito) and All Action No Bronson (Boujee sandwich). When he gave us our bag of food, we were so surprised at how dense it was. The sandwiches were packed! Absolutely loved the ESPAPI. Every bite was loaded and well-seasoned. The aroma of the chorizo was so alluring, even penetrating through the bag. I would easily go back just for this burrito! I enjoyed the All Action No Bronson as well; it was a perfect savory sweet combination of prosciutto, burrata and fig jam in a crispy and toasty French baguette. The flavors on each item were so perfectly balanced. Not a single component of the sandwich outshined the other, but rather accentuated it. Honestly, everything on the menu seems like an absolute hit! While I don't frequent this area often, I know their sandwiches and burritos would easily reel me back here.

Another hidden gem right in my backyard, if you're looking for some great sandwiches for breakfast…read moreand lunch this is the spot. I got the blt and it was well put together. Fresh bread avocado lettuce tomatoes and thick cut bacon with a slab of mayo and cheddar cheese was definitely devour worthy. And definitely a big size for with a very decent price. The bbq pull pork sandwich was also jam packed with pork but alil sweet for my liking I wish it was more savory and sweet but the combination of bbq sauce with the slaw was alot of sweetness still a good sandwich but I wish I would've held the bbq. Overall nice spot walk up and order to go or online. No seating, definitely can't wait to try the burgers they're adding to the menu.

They have Crazy sober up type of sandwiches services very nice and polite. I've been there twice and the prices are not bad. I got myself Italian sub with all the toppings it was delicious.

What the heck did I just eat?…read more A taco? A quesadilla? A hamburger? Some moments of reflection in my Lyft ride back home had me thinking many things about what I just ate here. Allow me to put it in perspective, this is gas station food on steroids. Located in Red Hook (and all it takes is to go outside and see you are in Red Hook), this nondescript bodega serves up one heck of a sandwich that will have you thinking, did I just eat that? This is not your ordinary New York bodega, this is the shop of General Ock, who sells various sandwiches in his renowned Ocky Way. So what is the Ocky Way? The Ocky Way is not just a sandwich with lettuce, tomato, and onions, it is also about presentation and style. The sandwich is made loudly with a flair for the dramatic, from the time your food hits the flat top to when it is center cut and put in a clamshell container. What about the food? It really is pretty good! I got the Chopped Cheese the Ocky Way and it was something I really enjoyed. I recommend you get it with the Jamaican Patty as that is what makes the flavors work best. You can also do it with a waffle or pancake or whatever bread you like. All you have to do is scarf it down. You can also put your own toppings on your sandwich if you want for an extra premium à la Farmer in the Deli style. Farmer in the Deli is another well known bodega in Fort Greene, known for finely chopping their meat into a sandwich, one I highly recommend as well. Even after writing this review, I still cannot believe what I ate here. Before I finish this review, I have to say one more thing. Neva neva neva forget to get a drink with your order!
