I sat at the bar and enjoyed the environment around me. The bartender was super personable and had rapport with regulars. The standout for me was dessert. I tried the olive oil cake and it was lovely. It was fragrant with gentle citrus notes, moist but not dense. Perfect way to cap off the meal.

Ok so food - I get the smash burger and i usually ask for it on a brioche bun, but it tastes surprisingly delicious on the toast as well. Fries are quite good and I'm pretty picky about fries too - I usually like thin and "twice-fried" crispy - and man oh man the drinks! Very yummy. I'd also highly recommend the beignets, which comes with a strawberry compote that hits perfectly. My only gripe. There were only 3 Shrimp in the whole dish. If you offer half and half, truly make it half and half. Sesame wings- sticky and sweet. Nicely seasoned and prepared. Shrimp scampi- tasty and juicy. Very fresh and deelish!! Butternut squash soup- very good and silky. Brussel sprouts- not pictured or on the menu but, they came out nice and toasty. I also ordered a Tito's and club soda from the bar. I appreciated the un-flat club soda. Our server Ilia G was very knowledgable and charismatic. Our food came out in great time. My server was very attentive throughout the entire dinner without being overbearing. I wanted to mention her name but unfortunately misplaced my receipt. I love the fact that when I chose the calamari, that they do have the tentacles as well, and not just the rings. For Peaches Prime to meet that one thing was a BIG PLUS to me for a restaurant that looks a little bit more upscale. But the icing on the cake was the fact that I was able to ask for more calamari with the tentacles in less rings so for me that is a win! The drink glasses are quite small like most upscale restaurants are so by the time you put ice in a cup you don't have that much to drink. I ordered shrimp and grits and it has kale in it with mushrooms and the flavor profile was good, but it's not like a southern profile for grits. A southern flavor profile is more rich and hearty. It was good, but the grits were on the runny side. I was provided a fork. I thought it was a small joke at first. You 100% require a spoon and fork with the shrimp and grits. You need a fork for the shrimp and to remove the tails using your butter knife, but to eat the dish you need a spoon. I like the fact that the kitchen did have a little kick of spices. One thing that is always underrated when you go out to eat at a restaurant anywhere in the world, but especially in North America even in Canada, is that food usually comes out to your table warm not hot. But the food came out piping hot and I love that fact. So that's ANOTHER WIN!! They have non-gender restrooms. They were very clean. The hallway that leads to the restrooms seem to be in a different restaurant. I wanted dessert, but I didn't have the room for it after my delicious meal. I definitely will be back but it's not a restaurant that I can come to every week or else. It's not gonna be good for my diet. I would eat too much!

They make a really good Falafel here, and the Crispy Cauliflower were perfectly crispy and well-sauced. The Chocolate Babka dessert is a great way to end your meal, and they do make a solid espresso martini for those wondering. The only thing I was not a fan of is their drink menu - all of the cocktails are spicy or smoky. Although you can sub out different alcohols, it would be nice to have a few other options.
