I came here for a local event before attending a game at the Barclays Center. They had free drinks so it was great to stop by before entering the stadium. I have never tried this bar so I was interested in stopping by. You had a good crowd of people who were from the surrounding area. There were several people coming in from work for a drink. The televisions were on to the local sports games which had most people's attention. There were only two bartenders working that night for a full room of people. I finally managed to get an order in and requested an old fashioned. It did not come out good. In the bartender's defense he had to pour drinks for amost fifty people that night. I will have to come here on a regular day to see how their service normally is. They were not serving food at the time which was disappointing. I was not able to go for another drink as the bartender had to take a break and his partner was working on drink orders from the other side of the room. I proceeded to leave afterwards since not much else was happening. This seemed like a nice place to hang out. I will have to come back on another night to give it another go.

A very cool place to hangout after a long day at work. I explored this on my way to concert at Brooklyn paramount. They've a great happy hour menu and serve until 7 PM during the weekdays (Monday to Friday). They've indoor as well as outdoor seating. Bartender was pretty and welcoming. I tried a vegetarian empanadas on their menu which was deliciously filled with black beans, corns and cheese. I loved the taste. And had a house lager (Founders) from their happy hour menu. I'm looking forward to try out their cocktails on my next visit! Thank you for your service. Kudos to the FancyFree team. Love, Amey!

To be ready for a full bar during an arsenal match speaks lots about the quality here. Came for a arsenal v man city match on Sunday. Mayoral candidate Johan momdani and director spike lee were there. Food was getting moved back and forth, bar was busy and everyone seemed on point.

I enjoy FancyFree's for a nicely priced beer and the occasional cocktail. Since having their lemon pepper wings, that's all I get. They are so balanced with a nice kick of lemon, heat from the peppercorn and the texture is crispy. Nice neighborhood spot to meet friends or have a casual date. The sports decor and extremely high ceilings/windows make it a memorable spot for a day time hang.

Seems like your regular neighborhood sports bar, nothing really standout worthy. I ordered the cosmo with tequila and it was well made. My friend had a Paloma but said it was very heavy on the grapefruit. They ordered fries and loved them but unfortunately it's a shared fryer so they weren't gf for me to try. They had the all star game on and have multiple TVs so you can see it wherever you are sitting. Some background music would be nice. The servers were nice and brought everything out quickly, I would probably check it out again.

Really enjoy coming to fancy free the name is fitting. The servers here are very friendly and attentive. The bar is wide and spacious. They have plenty of TVs for sports and fights. Great for groups , dates, solo after work vibes. The winds here are top tier big portions, great flavors, nice fried coating. I wasn't crazy about the nachos wish it had more cheese and the chicken lacked alil flavor. But I'd definitely come back.

I love this place and for the past year and a half they've held the title of my favorite lemon pepper wing spot :). I also love their truffle parmesan fries and onion rings but I will go out of my way to treat myself to a takeout order of these wings alone. They are perfectly crunchy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and well seasoned. For drinks I mostly stick to their house margarita but recently I tried their La Reina cocktail and loved it. I would definitely order that again. Also, it's large inside so it's a great spot to host a 30 person+ standing happy hour or 10 person+ brunch. They have a front section with lots of bar seats and tables as well as a back section that could seat maybe 20 people. I'd highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a spot with great bar food, good drinks, and lots of seating or multiple giant TVs for standing and sports-watching.

My girlfriends and I wanted to get drinks soo came here. It was happy hour and I had a marg it was so sour. I was excited about the elotes which were gluten free and beautifully presented but too spicy. The fries were good. My friends had empanadas and Mac n cheese bites which they didn't really enjoy. It was trivia night and seemed like that the trivia crowd were regulars. It was a nice spot in a cool location with and for that I would return but not for food or drinks.

New place that replaced Mullane's which we finally tried, for the food. We sat outside and were served quickly, and when it started to rain, we stood under our table umbrella talking to the two people next to us about work and city life. The food was excellent: Wish they wouldn't rely on straight-to-the-trash plastic for the condiments. Indoors, it was quite a different scene, less personal, more like a food hall; our new friends bee-lined to the bar.

The onion rings were a must have and definitely will order it again. The lemon pepper wings were cooked well but there was some sort of aftertaste that was off putting. So get the wings but maybe try another flavor. Service was alright, pretty standard. Nice outdoor seating.

As someone who has come to this bar regularly to watch Knicks playoff games, I can confidently say…read moreI will never return after what happened during the NBA Finals last night. What this bar pulled was completely unacceptable. They were openly reserving seats at the bar for certain people while telling everyone else they were unavailable. There was no advertised reservation policy, no advance notice, and no opportunity offered to regular customers. Apparently, the only way to get a seat is to know the owner, know the bartenders, or be part of the inner circle. What made it even worse was that my group had been sitting at the bar, ordering food and drinks starting around 7:30 PM, only to be forced out of our seats at 7:45 PM. The reservation signs on those seats clearly stated they were reserved for 8:15 PM. We were paying customers actively spending money, yet we were removed 30 minutes before the supposed reservation time. That is absolutely egregious behavior. I've worked in sports bars and have owned sports bars in New York City. In all my years in the business, I have never heard of reserving seats directly at the bar--especially during a major sporting event. It goes against everything that makes a sports bar successful. Bar seats have always been first-come, first-served. That's Sports Bar 101. I've spent plenty of money here over the years because it was always a great place to watch big games: good atmosphere, sound on the TVs, and a fun crowd. Unfortunately, last night proved that customer loyalty means absolutely nothing. Regular patrons were treated like second-class citizens while preferred customers received special treatment. For a bar that markets itself as a neighborhood sports destination, this was incredibly disappointing, unprofessional, and frankly insulting. If you're planning to watch a major game here, don't assume you'll be treated fairly. Unless you're friends with the right people, don't expect the same experience as everyone else. There are plenty of other sports bars in Brooklyn that understand how to treat customers. After last night, I'll be spending my money there instead. I won't be back, and I certainly won't be recommending this place to anyone. Let's Go Knicks
