First time at CAVA and the experience was just okay. The restaurant is similar to a Mediterranean-style Chipotle with options of a bowl or pita. You feel as if you are eating healthier, but it will cost $12.25 and up depending on your protein selection. They were out of several of my choices - specifically the super greens and balsamic vinaigrette dressing. Some of the staff were noticably lacking morale. The secondary line preps didn't seem to want to help the first line prep member out when it got busier. The fruit beverages are either good or awful. I recommend trying the Cucumber Mint Lime, Strawberry Citrus or Classic Lemonade. (You can tell which are good but the levels in the photo.) I don't recommend pickles in your bowl, but opt for the red pickled onions and cucumbers. If you pay extra for the Honey Harissa chicken, it is flavorful but does have a mild spiciness to it. read more

My husband and I used to go to the YL location & always had a great experience & the bowls are fresh & amazing. Came here on 5/10 to grab a couple of bowls for my hubby & I & it was busy but I believe it was the first weekend it's open. There were plenty of staff & the line moved very quickly. Came here to say with my daughter at 9:17pm at night and they don't close until 10:30pm. Ordered a steak bowl but the steak looked old and like small pieces of dog food (kibble and bits) asked the server if she could provide some fresh steak and she refused. This is an average score between my boyfriend and I. He got a chicken bowl and loved the ability to customize it any way he could. The flavors were strong and the chicken was tender. For myself, I got the steak bowl because I saw them just take the steak off the grill. By the time we went to eat, the steak was chewy and tough. The pita chips are the reason I would return. The service was okay. It was right at the end of the rush and I could tell the guy helping us out really needed to take a break to catch his breath. I needed to approach them was not greeted by them and they were unaware of my order because they were just hanging out . Great Mediterranean food. I had the Greek chicken pita what a delight. Their pita so fresh along with their sauces in the pita . Olives pickles their assortment inside my pita so worth it. So enjoyed this menu as my friend also had the Greek chicken pita as well. We couldn't stop talking about our luncheon at Cava. This was my first time trying CAVA and have no desire to return. There was one crew member that made the effort to be welcoming, others were simply ok. We love Cava but will have to give this location 3-star. We've frequent here several times given we do not live too far away. For the most part, the meal hasn't really fallen short but they are extremely understaffed and the line is often long. This always results in a really long wait. Another time, I arrived when they opened. Most of the ingredients were not available which was such a disappointment. It's a shame to open but not be ready for business. This is something they could definitely work on! Other than that, no complaints. We've had our meals assembled and they are good! What stood out the most was how customizable everything is--you can mix so many bases, dips, and proteins, so it never feels boring. Cava.. you are good but I'm waiting for you to be great. My second experience highly disappointed me, placing a mobile an hour in advance for pickup and was not ready for another almost 30 mins ... observing the staff I noticed there was no sense of urgency. They did not check on us to let us know about our orders that would have been more considerate. There was no point in placing a mobile order when it's not ready around the time I set up for pickup. I was not the only one several of us picking up mobile orders were waiting. At least they got my bowl right or else that would have been the cherry on the top... read more
