I live in Fullerton, but the Cava near us hasn't opened yet. The personal trainer at EOS and few other people said this was a good place to try because it's healthier, blah, blah, etc.... So we drove to the Brea location. When we got there we couldn't find any parking and saw the line at cava was pretty much out the door. BUT, we still wanted to try it and we were hungry. So we stood in line for like 45 mins, get to the front to order (chicken with RightRice bowl) and the lady tells me they are out of right rice. OK, so I told her to substitute the right rice with spinach, whatever, by this time I was tired and hungry. Then the next guy tells me they are out of tiziki. So I told him to give me another scoop of hummus instead. He also asked if I'd like avocado. I say, sure, then he tells me Oh that will be extra. Really???? You didn't have the right rice, you didn't have tiziki and now you want to charge me extra for avocado???? I say No, that's OK, but the cashier was nice enough to say it will be free. We checknout, basically two bowls of salad and two drinks came close to $50. My g/f didn't get what she wanted either because they were out of ingredients. So we go to get our drinks and guess what, they were out of juice also ( no surprise there). So we go back to the cashier and ask if they are going to refill the juice and she was like no, we're out of juice, what we have out is all we have. We'll, we asked for a refund for the juice which she gave us and we handed her back the cups. And instead of throwing the cups away, she put it back on the stack..yuckkk. I could have had dirty hands, I could have just came out of the bathroom w/o washing my hands,etc.... So we come home to eat our $50 bowls of salad and they forgot to give me my order of pita bread. Oh and they didn't give us enough salad to go with our protein. You didn't make a good first impression on me CAVA. Not sure if I'll be back!! I can go to Costco and get me some chicken, bag of spinach, hummus and make my bowl at home. CAVA, you need to do better. read more

I love cava. I've been to the Whittier location and their service and portions are consistent so I was excited to hear cava was opening closer to home. I've been to this location twice and both time portions are extremely small. I ordered for pick up this last time and almost left without pita crisp in my bowl. When one of the workers asked another worker why my bowl didn't have pita crisp she said because they were out. So why put an incomplete order out?! They said it would take a few minutes but they did this to other people order. Please improve on your portion sizes and make sure orders are complete before putting them out for pick up. These bowls are not cheap and to have small portions or missing sides is disappointing. read more

The service in this location is extremely slow. I made my order via CAVA app at 12pm today, surprisingly, it says the order will be ready at 1pm (normally it only takes 15 minutes to prepare in other locations ) . When I arrived the store at 1:05pm, the food is not ready, and there are 7-8 people also waiting for their order. I can see there are 6 staffs on duty, but no one is working on the to go orders. The walk in customers are treated immediately. After a customer complained the long waiting for to go order, someone printed out more than 10 to go orders from a machine and starting to work on those orders, which means my order was sitting in the machine being ignored for more than 70 minutes. It only takes the stuff to complete my order in 5 minutes, why no one worked on those online order for such a long time? I hope the store manager will treat walk in customer and online order equally and follow the first come first serve principle accordingly. read more

Most items taste good but detailed menu items that you could choose from should be bigger and up higher to be able to see when waiting in line or before entering the line. I could see even if a few people were in line it could get backed up quickly. Different options weren't explained too well when ordering. Pita was fair bit the chicken was delicious as were many of the toppings. I would return now that I know the options. read more

We were very disappointed with this store. My wife and I discovered CAVA recently and love the food and experience. So, we were on a road trip from SD to LA and found this location. Unfortunately...not a good experience. Line was fairly long but moved very slow. Maybe they were understaffed? We were there at 6pm on a Sat night so not sure what happened. Then, ordered the food. They were out of brown rice (really) and the entree ordered had undercooked lentils. They tasted like raw beans. Not good. read more

The service was SLOW. Looks like there was a new employee getting trained, BUT when the line is long, you should have the new employee wipe the tables, refill the condiments, or sweep the floor. During my visit which I was there for an hour, and not one employee wiped down the tables or swept. The condiments were refilled, BUT only because customers complained. When I arrived I wiped my own table. The line was long and waited about 15-20 minutes to place our order. I guess next time I should do mobil order. read more
