Best vaccination experience ever! My family of 4 plus my father-in-law and mother-in-law received our Covid vaccine booster and flu shot over the Thanksgiving weekend as a walk-in. We were greeted immediately by the receptionist and felt welcomed. We received all our shots and updated vaccine cards within 45 minutes! It was so seamless and easy! My Mom really wanted to do a drive-through but there weren't any near her that were providing the Pfizer vaccine. We heard Carson Pharmacy had Pfizer and were taking LA residents, so I called and the woman who answered the phone was very pleasant. She took my Mom's information and got her an appointment within the next 3 days! When we arrived at our scheduled time, we were checked in and then asked to wait in a separate area where all the other clients were waiting. We were socially distanced in that room, everyone was wearing masks, and we were given a number. We only waited a few minutes before our number was called. The kind gentleman that gave my Mom her shot was very friendly and also made sure we understood the side effects and if/when to call her doctor. My Mom was very pleased with the process and will be back in 3 weeks for the second dose! Thank you Carson Pharmacy for making this a great experience during this crazy pandemic! read more

I'm one to support small businesses so I'm happy to be a patient at this pharmacy. The entire staff is always so lively and happy to greet you. Each member is always so helpful whether it is over the phone or in-person. They're quick-paced so I never have to wait long or come back - the medicine is usually ready within 5 minutes max if I ever do a drop-off. If I ever have to call in my medicine, there is a text messaging service they offer that will send ready-for-pick-up notifications. This is the worst place to come for anything! Even when just trying to buy lotto. The over the counter medication is expired, make sure you check everything you purchase here. The customer service here is non-existent and if you linger too long in anyone place expect to be told something and stared at. I use to come in weekly but now I choose to avoid this place. Go to a well known pharmacy for medication and over the counter drugs that are not expired. read more

Had a terrible experience getting Covid Vaccine here. First, submit the application at the pharmacy and receive a call few days after. Call back and a pharmacy associate, she told me that they never call me. So, she proceed to booking the appointment for me and ask me all kind of information. I told her that I already submitted the form with all my info. She said they never got it. But later, she found it. A week prior to the 2nd does, call the pharmacy and try to make an appointment for the 2nd does, she told me I don't need to register and make an appointment for the 2nd dose they will call me the day before the 2nd dose date on the card. But I went to Pharmacy couple prior 2nd dose date, and I was told that I need to register for the 2nd dose appointment. Horrible experience. The staffs at the pharmacy seems really confuse and give customer a run around. Wouldn't recommend getting the vaccine here at Carson Pharmacy, very chaotic experience. read more

I went here for the Western Union transmittal which was not on Yelp. The sign is so small which I assume they probably just started this service and are testing customer response. Same staff that covers the pharmacy work this window and it doesn't look like the staff welcome the added tasks especially when I asked a question after informing her I was a first-timer. Do not go there for Pediatric Covid Vaccine. Made an appointment for my 10 year old daughter for her first Pediatric Covid vaccine. Appointment time was 3:00p.m. Got there 2:50 to fill in paperwork and checked in. Afterwards we were waiting and waiting and seeing all the people in the room are being called except us. At first we thought they were behind with their appointment schedule. Later we realize they were NOT following the order of appointment time but they were doing their own thing by only calling all the ones getting booster vaccine. We were the only one getting the pediatric vaccine and they just push out our turn for other people. Until after 3:30 we asked them why it was taking so long and when our turn will be. The person giving the vaccine got up and told us to just sit down and wait with a very rude gesture. He did not offer any explanation nor apology and he's apparently not happy we were questioning them. He told us it's not a restaurant and we can leave. Of course we did after being mistreated and my daughter DID NOT get her Covid shot after all. read more

PLEASE AVOID THIS PHARMACY! My mom had been here a few times without fuss, but recently I had found out they have been giving fake bills as change. We did not find out until later on when she stopped by the gas station to fill up gas and they told us the bills were fake. Took it to the bank to verify that the bills were indeed fake. When she went back to Carson Pharmacy, they flat-out denied it and would not remedy the situation. read more

This pharmacy is located in a shopping plaza very close to Harbor UCLA hospital. My grandma is a longtime customer, and I pick up medication from this pharmacy for her all the time. The pharmacist, Stanley, and his staff are extremely nice. He's been working there for over twenty years, so he's very knowledgable. The primary reason my grandma (and I) love this place is that they are FAST. I've been to other chain pharmacies and hospital pharmacies, but they don't compare. Even though there are a lot of people, Stanley and his staff work very quickly in filling your prescription. Not only that, but the prices are the same as everywhere else, if not cheaper. Did I also mention that the pharmacy is a convenient store? Yeah, it's pretty convenient. read more

Yes this pharmacy is in an old building structure, and the layout can be a bit of a mess, but the reason I keep coming here is for the pharmacist and the staff. I rather not be concerned with the way it might look, but honestly speaking there isn't a friendlier pharmacist around that caters to your needs like Stan does. He'll make every effort to get your scripts filled asap, and he'll make sure you understand everything to know about your meds before your leave home. And that's really all I want. read more

I can't say that I had much expectation when I walked into this absolutely disgusting, ghetto pharmacy as the "pharmacy" part of it was just a small counter behind bars and bulletproof glass in the back of a fairly filthy liquor store. But, it is directly across the street from Harbor UCLA hospital so it was the easiest spot for me to fill my prescription after seeing my doctor. My prescription was ready very quickly, in less than 10 minutes and I was out the door. When I got home and opened the bag, I realized that no information booklet was given to me with my medicine and that there were only 17 tablets in the bottle rather than the prescribed 20. I immediately drove back to Carson and told the pharmacist what had happened. He insisted that he had double counted and that the information booklet was put into my bag. He emphatically insisted "your friend must stolen from you" (I had no "friends" with me). I didn't even bother arguing too much as it was obvious that I was getting no where with him. NEVER USE THIS PHARMACY IT COULD ENDANGER YOUR HEALTH AND WELFARE. I'm serious. read more
