This aged poorly. This dealership sold me a completely defective vehicle, and didn't inform me of any of the issues. When you purchase a vehicle at 5K miles, you don't expect any problems, right? Wrong, not at this place. Loose engine mount, slipping transmission, and tires with less than 2/32 depth (extremely dangerous tread, not safe for driving) was some of the many issues I encountered with this LEMON. This dealer basically laughed in my face and told me that the previous owners probably sold it at 5K miles because it was a lemon, and that's a possibility with low-mileage vehicles. I sold it back to CarMax and lost almost $10K. Bought a Volvo from a reputable dealer, Bill Luke. I'm done with Nissan and especially done with CarMax. Slimy.

This place is over priced and will not come down. The truck we looked at was 4000 over blue book.

I was very leary of purchasing pre-owned as I have heard so many horror car buying stories of shady salesman, selling faulty vehicles and lacking clarity about the true vehicle condition, so I started my research. It took me close to a month of research, before I found a preowned dealership that still honored integrity. I knew the cars I was interested in and found my way to Goldie's. I was working with another dealership, as I had been pre-approved, but let me tell you what made the difference.. the service at Goldie's ! Through text and email, John, my sales-friend, (I call him) was so relatable and communicative. Walking in I have to admit is pretty cool, in the show room they had a old school IMMACULATE Corvette, a skew ball machine, and arcade games it felt unlike any other dealership I had walked in. The owners son greeted me and asked if I needed anything and to let him know if I did! He was the sweetest teenager. When they say Goldie's is a family business they really mean it ! I was working with John and let me tell you he was so transparent and honest it was like a breath of fresh air. I had considered other vehicles they had but he talked me through the maintenance cost, resale value and common mechanical issues each of the cars I had considered. Once I settled on a vehicle he was able to check for me the maintenance records as well as reviewed the carfax report with me. When I took the car for a test drive he told me to take my time get to know the car and make sure it was right for me. I never felt pressured to purchase. I was having a horrible time in dealing with the insurance payout of my previous vehicle and John was very empathetic in understanding my situation. He had set expectations before I came that with the insurance payout being delayed I may not be able to take the vehicle the vehicle home. I was thrilled with the no pressure atmosphere, and just came to take a look at the vehicle in person, with zero expectation to buy. John and his manager worked magic. I did in fact decide to purchase my vehicle and was able to take it home, there is a small cosmetic issue that I requested to have repaired and he called immediately and got the approval to get it taken care of. I'll be returning later this week to have that completed. I'll keep you guys posted after the service appointment. I had a great experience and I feel I got a good deal on my vehicle and, I felt like my business was valued, my concerns were heard and they've made a lifelong customer out of me ! Special thanks to Goldie's and super special thanks to John!

The only thing I questioned was a "requirement " to provide three "references" of friends and family members, despite paying cash. This seemed a clear attempt to get personal contact information on uninvolved people, probably to approach them with our recommendation. Not cool. The rest of the process was quite straightforward aside from signing all the documents levied by the legal profession. Nice showroom and lounge; clean bathrooms and genuinely friendly staff. When we brought this to their attention minutes after we left the lot, they told us they would "make it right." We brought the vehicle in twice for them to repair the windshield. During the second repair attempt, the windshield cracked further from the repair attempt while the vehicle was in their possession, and now the cracks are spreading to other areas. Despite this, they refused to replace the windshield and told us we should go through our insurance or pay them almost $1000 to replace it. We have purchased two vehicles from this dealership in the past, but after this experience we will not be returning. We are also planning to cancel the warranty since we no longer feel comfortable using their service center.

Not quite a year later, we are again experiencing engine issues and the passive idol system through which the car shuts off went out of traffic. Light is completely disabled, and the car won't turn over. Today I had to have it towed to my mechanic. Considering I put about $7000 down and financed another approximately $24,000. I should not be having these problems within about 18 months of the purchase. The warranty is expired and it is on me, but I do not want others to make the same mistake I did. I have learned that there was information about the condition of the vehicle that was not shared with me and now because of its condition, I am underwater on my loan. I would never, and I emphasize never buy a car through enterprise car sales again. They make the stereotype jokes about used car salesmen seem very appealing. I told them that even though it is on the higher side of miles and has some dings / dents I wanted pricing and to likely buy it. Don't assume people are stupid or are still buying the COVID nonsense. I'm not interested. I also already got a loan and purchased a vehicle (exactly what I wanted) for a better price than they were offering on an older vehicle with more miles. To be honest, I was a little…read morenervous at first because of the low price and because they didn't know the full history of the vehicle. It was part of a deal they made with a Dodge dealership out in Avondale to get a vehicle one of their own clients wanted. Typically, when a dealership says something like that, you have to be a little leery-it can feel like they're setting up an excuse just in case something goes wrong. My antennas definitely went up. But Rick came across as a genuinely honest guy. I realized it was a family-run operation-his son is the sales manager-and as someone who recently started mr own business, I really respected hard they work. I asked Rick point-blank if he thought the Jeep would make it to Colorado and back (since he was the one who drove it all the way from Avondale). He looked me in the eye and said, "Without a doubt." That same night, I got an oil change and hit the road for Colorado. Usually, I do a lot more maintenance when I first pick up a vehicle, but given the high mileage, I was skeptical and didn't want to sink too much cash into it right away. But it ran like an absolute dream. It's a 4.7L 4x4, so it's naturally heavy on gas, but outside of fuel costs, I have zero complaints about how it drives. I've had it for just under two months now. I did have to --*lace the water pump recently, k ckily I'm handy and took care of it myself. It also has a minor exhaust manifold leak, but the Jeep runs great overall. There was a slight delay with getting the title past the 30-day mark, but Rick communicated with me the entire way through and issued me another temporary tag so I was fully covered. On top of that-and this is what really set them apart-when I was at the third-party MVD finalizing everything, our sale was already complete. Rick didn't owe me a thing. Knowing I had put almost everything I had into buying this vehicle, he paid for my title, tags, and registration out of his own pocket. That kind of gesture is commendable. I saw a few negative comments on here, but every company gets those --nobody is perfect, and things don't always go as planned. But look at the big picture: they have about a 5-to-1 positive ratio. Most major corporations like Walmart, Target, or Costco can't claim an 80-90% customer satisfaction rate, but Auction Block Auto can. This is where I'll be buying my daughter's first vehicle when she turns 16 in three years, and probably another vehicle or two before then. Thank you guys for being men and women with integrity and honor. In an industry where car salesmen can be so shady, you guys are the gold standard for auto sales. ( so we are clear I'm a real customer no ties to this company and mot a bot: my business is Mellow Industries LLC way on the other side of town.
