I only took that one bite to determine if the waffle was as hard as it appeared. After the waffle incident, before my mom had even finished eating, the waitress asked if I wanted the check already. I found the timing a little odd and couldn't help but wonder if they were trying to rush us out, although I can't say for sure. I'm giving this experience one star because, while the hamburger and fries were good, the overall experience was disappointing. The dirty coffee cup, unpleasant smell from the tables, unseasoned hash browns, cold and hard waffle, and the way the waffle situation was handled by the staff were too many issues to overlook.
