This is a wonderful place. I'd place it in the genre of sports bars however there were a number of families so I'm not so sure where they envisioned themselves. However, the layout of the restaurant is simply wonderful if you wish to watch sports it's on every TV and there's a TV in every corner. As well, there is a wonderful patio. And because it is a sports bar and very family oriented the service was just spectacular. Our server really hustled. She was on top of our order at every moment had our drinks post haste. She was actually quite good so from that perspective, I was quite pleased as well. The manager was aware of our presence, and because it was the first time we had ever gone, she made it a point to drop by greet us and make us an offer for a free pizza on the way. The food is consistent with the setting and the service we have general fair of hamburger and french fries both of which were quite good. The hamburger was a bit overcooked for me I had asked for a rare and it came probably medium, but I'm not going to necessarily condemn a place on the first visit when all the other aspects of it were quite good and the hamburger was not at all bad. The drinks were very good and as I say, the service spectacular. If you're looking for a sports bar with good ambience, good service and good food. This is not a bad place to come at all. read more

I did a take out order at Bubba's 33. I ordered the Genoa Salami Pizza and the California Chicken Dinner. The California Chicken Dinner was pretty good overall. The chicken was cooked well and tender, but it could've used a little more seasoning to really bring the flavor out. It wasn't bad at all, just needed a bit more punch. The Genoa Salami Pizza had the potential to be the star of the meal. The crust was good and had great flavor, and you could tell the ingredients were quality. However, it didn't have enough sauce and was a bit dry. It also could've used more cheese to balance everything out. With a little more sauce and cheese, it would've been perfect. I will try the Monte Crisco Sandwich next time because it looks really good. I want to try the pizza again as well, I will just mention to them about the sauce and cheese when I order it. read more

I was running errands in the area and decided to stop in. The menu was very appealing, something for everyone. I placed my order online and waited for the notification. Had to run to the restroom right before picking up my food. Seriously, they need to fix the toilet seat in the family restroom. It was about to fall off and I almost fell. On to the food. I was directed into the hallway between the restroom and side door to pick up my food. Strange place for pickup but ok. My food was handed to me from the kitchen. My order was correct and packed nicely for a to go order. The food was pretty good. I ordered the monte Cristo with onion rings for myself. The sandwich was really good, sweet and cheesy. It was also huge. The onion rings were giant too and a lot of them. Both entrees can be shared. For my family, I ordered the shrimp and chicken tenders. My son got the buffalo chicken sandwich. Both ordered fries. They enjoyed the meal too. Lots of condiments were provided too. We will go back and try other things. read more

We were so excited to try this place and it was always busy. We finally took the time to try their food. When we first walked in, there were eight workers standing at the check-in podium, and not one of them turned around and greeted us. It was a good four minutes before we were spoken to, and taken to a table. We sat down and looked at our menus and were greeted by our waitress about five minutes later. I will say the waitress was wonderful and she was kind and she was helpful and she was very friendly. We tried the crooked mozzarella sticks. We ordered the fish and chips. We also ordered the fried shrimp. The crooked mozzarella sticks were really good. Unfortunately, I cannot say the same about our food. The fried fish was so much batter that you couldn't even find the fish. It was not seasoned nor was it tasty at all. The fried shrimp was once again, mostly batter and not seasoned at all. The best part about our meal were the french fries. We did speak to one of the managers named Marvel. Who was by the way, extremely friendly and helpful . We did have to return our meals as we just could not eat the food which was mediocre at best. Marvel then did bring us a kids cheese pizza and that was mediocre at best. I personally could've made a better tasting pizza at home. Overall, I don't think we will be going back. The food was not good, the music was so loud you could not hear yourself think, and the weight staff needs to be better trained at customer service. Unfortunately, I really wanted to like this place and we were really excited to try it, but it was not worth the weight, it was not worth the Time or the money. We had a great experience at Bubba's 33. The weather was perfect so we got a spot on the patio. There are many TVs and we even had a channel changed so we could watch the Astros. Our waitress was very friendly and prompt. We ordered some garlic knots for appetizers and they came out so hot that we had to let them cool a bit so we could pick them up. The flavor was great-really soft yummy bread-the kind that makes you want to keep eating more and then can't finish your entree. Speaking of entrees, again-they were great, and the presentation was so good! They looked like menu photos. Super hot-just out of the oven tots and fries. Everything was delicious. Been here about 20 times and haven't had anything to complain about. It's close to my Job so we visit here frequently. All the managers and staff are always friendly and welcoming. Finally gave this spot a try. We arrived right after a workout..lol! It was 10:55 and the workers were still outside so we waited in the car about 10 minutes so they can get in and get it together. Worst Bubba's experience ever & possibly worst restaurant experience ever. I ordered a burger medium. Easy. My burger was presented medium rare at best. The waitress that was a bit too assertive when I arrived disappeared. She was busy chatting with the males at the bar. I finally got her attention & a manager arrived. He had been within feet of me, but didn't bother to ask how my meal was. My stomach was queasy from eating some of the undercooked burger while I waited for assistance, so I requested that he take it off of the bill instead of receiving a replacement. I had a birthday coupon for a dessert. I showed him my container after I asked for it to go & said that he could bring it on a plate & I would transfer it to my container. He brought the dessert out in a plastic to go container & each of the toppings was in a separate plastic container. I always bring my own to go containers in my effort to care for the environment. When I reminded him that I said he could bring it on a plate, he said that he couldn't take personal containers to the back. He didn't even listen! The mangoes that garnished my margarita were slimy, mushy & going bad. I started to take a bite of one & immediately stopped.They were truly disgusting. I attempted to discuss my concerns with a real manager, but to my shock I was told that he was it. I do plan to call to complain. I told him that I was a Yelp Elite member & was going to post a review. This is not how a manager should treat a customer. I drove an hour in the traffic to this place & was hoping to have the killer kind of burger that I've had at several other locations. I never dreamed that a Bubba's could be so bad. I would give zero stars if I could. After my visit I'm seeing the negative reviews. I wish that I had seen them & gone to the Spencer Highway location instead. I have always had positive experiences there. When I've had an issue, the manager took care of it in a friendly & professional way. I was given a gift card for a free entree. It's been a while since my last visit here, and tonight reminded me why. From the moment we checked in, things felt disorganized. It took the hostesses about five minutes to decide where to seat a party of two. While waiting, I noticed food sitting at the expo window with no one serving it, which immediately made me worry ours would arrive cold. Unfortunately, that concern turned out to be valid. Our server was not very friendly--quick, blunt, and lacking basic hospitality. When the food arrived, it was extremely salty, to the point where it was hard to tell if it was the seasoning or just poor execution. The mashed potatoes were cold--actually cold, not just lukewarm. We requested sauce after the food arrived, but instead of bringing it promptly, we waited several minutes while the server stopped to sing a birthday song, which seemed to take priority. A manager did stop by to ask how we were doing but didn't attempt to clear empty plates or glasses, which added to the overall lack of attention. Our table was located on the bar side of the dining room, which was uncomfortably dark, and to top it off, the steaks were not cooked correctly. This restaurant is clearly not what it used to be. Really nice and clean inside , they have a separate bar area which is super cool. The patio is also huge but will be nice once it cools down again. We went when it was peak time and it took awhile to get our food (which is completely understandable bc they were really busy). Our server was super nice and gave us great recommendations. Only thing which was a bit ridiculous to me was, when we went to pay, she "did some math and added tip suggestions" on the bottom of our receipt in pen...she put 15%, 18% and then 25%.... sorry but I'm not tipping 25% especially when, the bartender brought us our drinks a food runner brought our food, and a busser busses the tables for you.. you literally just asked if we needed anything and took down our order‍ Now for the food: the $4 mango & strawberry margs were actually really good!! We throughly enjoyed them. The pizza was good and the crust was good as well! The chicken sandwich I got.... Well... there is no gracious way of eating it as it was SO messy lol. But. My husband and I decided to go and try Bubba's 33 which have been open for a little over a year over off the parkway toll. We walked in and it was giving sports lounge vibes with TVs everywhere in a bar right in the middle. We sat down in our waitress Was extremely a tip full and access. What do we want to drink. She mentioned the different drinks on the menu that she recommended as her favorite. But we ended up going with one long island and a spicy margarita. This is a veteran owned business, and they have veteran parking which is really cool! Very busy place, but still super fast and great service for a great price. My son ate his grilled cheese in 2 seconds so I would say that was a win since he's a picky eater. My husband got the cheeseburger and he said it was too big to finish his fries but very good. This was our second visit, our first was dine in and could of been better but overall wasn't bad, so we decided to give it a shot ordering Togo tonight and sadly it missed the mark on doing togo's from there. We got the California chicken dinner, the crunchy fried shrimp, 2 of the kids chicken and 1 pepperoni pizza kids as well. The kids dinner turned out great all good for them so that's a plus, unfortunately our dinners weren't that great well at least mine wasn't. I had the shrimp with fries n onion rings. My shrimp were mushy not at all crispy bummer, and they forgot the most important part of a shrimp i had absolutely no tartar nor cocktail sauce so had to nothing to maybe salvage my meal, just at the fries n onion rings. My bf got the chicken he said it was not as much food as he thought it would be and they also forgot his mash potatoes. I have to say, I don't usually care for burger/bar food places, but this place exceeded my expectations! I got a basic burger and it was delightful, very flavorful - I would definitely get it again. The fire fries paired with it so well, they had a nice kick of spice - if you like spicy food, they're a must try (I wish I could recall what spice she said they use). Their frozen strawberry margarita was also perfection - a nice balance of sweetness without being overpowering. I also snuck a few bites from my son's mac and cheese and my gosh! I need a side of that next time. It kind of had an underlying taste of queso, it was so delicious! My husband got wings and commented the mild wings were less than mild, so just something to note. Our server was very kind and friendly throughout the whole meal. We had a slight snag, it was a packed Friday and our meal took a tad long but nothing too awful, almost expected. Gummy rubbery lumps of what looked like imitation chicken. Couldn't eat it. Artichoke dip was okay. Certainly presented weird with char grilled lemon and sour cream. Seemed like it came out of a bag that was warming in a Sous vide. Salad was okay. Reasonable size to price. The monte cristo okay. But nothing to really clamor about. Overall it's not good. Walked in and we were seated promptly. The waitress, Hannah, came right over to take our drink order. Since this was our first visit, we all decided to have an adult beverage. We asked for a few minutes so we could make a decision. It was almost 10 minutes before she returned. We placed our drink order and the drinks came out shortly brought by another waitress. Within a few minutes, I had spilled my drink. Hannah immediately saw this and instead of coming to our aid to clean the table, she thought it more important to place an order for another one. She brings over bar (little square) napkins to clean the table, realizing later that a rag was needed. We decide to order an appetizer and Hannah is no where to be found. We tell another waitress that we'd like to order an appetizer and they hunt her down. She places our order and soon after it comes out bright by another waitress. This waitress spills the sauce we asked to be put on the side and instead of cleaning it up, she throws the bar napkins on the table and walks away. So, I then ask to speak to the manager. Mykala comes over and asks how she can help. I show her the spill on the table. She then proceeds to give me an attitude and says I have napkins and I could clean it up. She then changes her tune and starts to clean the table up with the bar napkins. I look at her telling her that she needs a wet rag. She walks off with a huff to get the wet rag. She returned and cleaned the table with an attitude. She asked if there was any thing else. We requested the check which showed up very quickly. When I go to a sit-down restaurant, I expect to get service, not attitude! We went next door to a fast food restaurant and received better service there AND without the attitude. The only saving grace was I wasn't charged for the spilled drink. Therefore, the 1 star! read more

Basically TGI Friday's meets the new millennium. I really enjoyed the perimeter of TV's with funny videos, music videos that made for great conversation, and all the sports you could ever ask for. We went in juuuust before the lunch rush and were able to get a booth without a wait. Greeting us at the booth was a fun little console that offered trivia for the table. I thought that was a cute way to get the table off their phones and interacting with one another (albeit onto another electronic device). Our server was super friendly and did a great job of balancing her showcasing of available menu items we may not have noticed while not making us feel like she was trying to upsell. There are plenty of hearty options here; I was surprised at the range of offerings. I'm a yuuuuge fan of French fries (and basically all things potato) and they have a loaded fry plate that's pretty rad. We got that as an appetizer so I swapped my Monte Cristo's side for steamed broccoli...which was also surprisingly good. The Monte Cristo came with a berry dipping sauce on the side that was a nice pairing with my powdered sugar-dusted, deep fried Sammy. My niece got a sweet tea with some strawberry flavoring added (as recommended by our server) and loved it. They also have the good ice pebbles. You know, Chic-Fil-A and hospital-style. Beyond that, her hamburger was good and so were her loaded tots. This is one of those fastball-down-the-middle places. Something for everyone. There are no frills.
