No wait at all compared to how busy they are at dinner time. They gave my mother a 10% senior discount. Lunch time on the weekend might be the time to go because it is not too busy and you don't have to "fight" for the good stuff but still busy enough that fresh food is refilled often. I come here for one reason only, CRAB! They had two types of blue crabs, one with ginger and green onions and a salty fried version. The fried version is my favorite because it is less mess. I went through several full plates' worth of crab. Well worth the price. Service was friendly and efficient. Staff came by frequently to take away our dirty dishes.

I was there having a sisters' night with my two sisters and quietly celebrating my little sister's birthday, but because of his demeanor, we didn't even bother mentioning it. He rarely checked on our table, and we constantly had to flag him down. I asked for drink refills that were forgotten and had to remind him, and when they finally came, the drinks were refilled without any ice. I also noticed halfway through our meal that he had removed his name tag. On top of the service issues, I was disappointed to find out that two of the side dishes I always looked forward to which was the seaweed salad and the cabbage salad with the white sauce are no longer offered. The quality of the meat was good but other than that nothing outstanding. Overall, this was easily the most disappointing experience I've had here. I still left a 15% tip, but the level of service we received did not warrant it. I really hope management takes feedback like this seriously because customers shouldn't feel like they're bothering their server simply by asking for basic things. Servers set the tone for the entire dining experience, and unfortunately, this experience was frustrating enough that we don't plan on returning.

This is where the great experience and excitement went out the window. When we were directed to our seats I excused myself from the table to head to the restroom. So here I was at the urinal, I turned my head to the door as I heard it open, One of the staff members walk in and stands to the right of me to use the station next to me as there are only two. As I finish up I'm washing my hands trying to pump soap out the dispenser haha, The man walks right past me WITHOUT WASHING HIS HANDS I knew it was a staff member because I saw the back of his shirt it had the captin buffet logo. This is absolutely disgusting he walks out and continues to do his work duties serving sushi or making it. I get not washing your hands when you're working out in the field because you can get away with it but!!!! Handling food come onnnnn man that is inhumane and unsanitary where is the respect you could have at least faked a hand wash, This ruined my appetite right after god know what he's touched and served food. I don't understand why there are so many negative reviews. Based on my own personal experience, I came here for dinner and was very impressed with this restaurant. The food selection is extremely rich, offering Chinese dishes, sushi, sashimi, crab legs, oysters, shrimp, as well as a variety of fruit salads and desserts, freshly prepared hibachi, and many other hot dishes. All the ingredients are very fresh -- the sushi and sashimi have great texture and taste, and the seafood is plump and flavorful. The busboy promptly cleared the tables and was very friendly. The dining environment is comfortable, clean, and hygienic, making it a pleasant place to enjoy a meal. I think you shouldn't be swayed by negative reviews online. At the very least, you should experience it yourself and give this new restaurant a chance. As for me, I will definitely come back -- not only is the food delicious, but I also really enjoy the overall dining atmosphere here. read more

I went to this newly opened buffet for dinner yesterday, and overall, the experience was amazing. Both adults and kids had a wonderful time dining here. I'm not someone who's good at cooking, so this place really solves my problem. The kids absolutely loved it -- they even said it's the best buffet they've ever been to. In this day and age when prices keep going up, being able to enjoy such a wide variety of delicious food at such an affordable price is truly wonderful. We went to Captain Buffet on Saturday night and honestly had a really good experience. For a buffet, they had a large selection with tons of variety, including a really solid seafood section -- shrimp, crab, mussels, and a few other options that were all fresh and well-stocked. Because it was so busy, nothing seemed like it had been sitting out for long, which made everything taste fresher. We didn't try anything that we thought was gross -- everything we grabbed was pretty good. Overall, we left happy and satisfied. I saw a lady complaining about the crab legs and demanded a refunded or she will post on yelp. Lady, if u r broke just say it lol the crab legs are completely safe to eat because it's the shell unless you eat the shell? There are some weird customer base there. The egg fu yung sauce and items were burnt, I gave them the benefit of the doubt and thought ok maybe they're heavy on dark soy sauce but no this was simply poorly cooked food. Unbearably salty AND bland. The chow mein noodles were rubbery with colorless vegetables, and the broccoli beef just tasted like nothing, overcooked and mushy. In a season of economic struggles, we all need things we buy to be worth their price - value has never mattered more. And it's been a long time since I've had restaurant food this poorly prepared, there's absolutely no excuse for it. I'm willing to believe it was just a little bad luck. But with zero redeeming value on this first order, I now regret not ordering from my local favorite. I'm not paying $60+ for burnt tasteless food again, and it shouldn't have even happened once.

We totally forgot to take a photo of the sushi rolls but we got our favorites - the sexy, the 49er roll, and the lucky 7 roll. They were amazing as always. We also got the BBQ albacore as well as the garlic edamame, and the buttered scallops. The scallops were a first and we could've probably skipped those. The service was wonderful, the staff are always so helpful and kind. I love the Arigato is one of the few sushi restaurants you're not freezing your entire meal in, it's always a cozy and warm vibe! We wish we were in town longer because we'd be going back for more!

Up until now, I've always ordered their party trays for events rather than dining in. Their party trays are incredibly affordable, and the owner always makes everything completely fresh. He is such a true gentleman. The last time I came here was on a rainy Tuesday, April 21st, 2026. Just the day before, I had decided to throw a last-minute birthday party for my one-year-old. I called the restaurant with very short notice to order two party trays: a large chow mein and a small orange chicken. The owner didn't hesitate at all and took my order right away. The next day, I arrived a little later than planned for pickup, but he was incredibly patient with me. When I went inside to pay, we ended up having a lovely, heartfelt conversation. Out of the pure kindness of his heart, he gave me a full bag of fortune cookies as a special treat for my daughter's birthday. It was such a sweet, thoughtful gesture! He then insisted on helping me carry the heavy party trays out to my car, opening the restaurant doors and the trunk for me, and even took a moment to wish my little girl a happy birthday. I will always support this restaurant. The food is delicious, but the heart behind the business is even better. My only wish for the owner is that he can hire a bit more staff so he can take some well-deserved rest days. He is always working so hard, and he truly deserves a good vacation!

I usually get the 2 item with chow mein, sesame chicken and general chicken. Chow mein was bland. The pieces of sesame chicken and general chicken were huge but mostly batter. Pretty much it was like eating flavored fried batters lol. Portion has gotten smaller. Portion still big but not as huge as it used to. They used to filled it to the point that the lid can barely closed. That is not the case anymore, at least not for me. Service have always been ok. Each visit, I always had to wait for them to cook the items. I don't mind as the food will be hot and fresh. If you pay with credit, there will be a fee.
