Mango lemonade, noodles , Seoul Chicken (House Special!) and steak and shrimp.

I was walking by the food court And one of the employees waived at me to try a sample She told me " it's halal" and honestly she didn't have to say much more! I love that their is a halal option at the food court . She was kind enough to let me sample more than one item . I went with the noodles , steak and shrimp and chicken . It tasted good for fast food.

I saw the reviews for this place and was surprised since it's a mall court spot that looks like a Korean panda express. You can get a plate with a couple items choices. They have noodles and fries rice, plus options for stir fries and Korean style fried chicken. Plus the food is halal! I like that they offer samples for you to try. I would say the food tastes good but on par with your typical food court Asian food. Good amount of food for the price.

Mind you I was with my two year old son and she did this all over me asking if they had black pepper... disgusting!

Mind you, this happened while I was with my two-year-old child. It was extremely upsetting to witness this kind of behavior from an employee in a public setting--especially in a place where families spend their money, children are present, and staff are expected to maintain professionalism. The conduct displayed was completely inappropriate and unacceptable for a workplace. I find it disappointing that management allows this type of behavior while someone is on the clock and representing their business. I would not spend a dime at any establishment that permits such unprofessional actions. Businesses should uphold standards that make all customers--especially families with young children--feel comfortable and respected.

Okay, so five stars may be a bit of a stretch, but not because of food quality or taste, and not because of customer service; no, it's only a stretch due to the setting. Seoul Express is located in the Arden Fair Mall food court. So because of the general ambiance, I can understand why some folks would rate it below five stars. I had to rate five, though, based on the awesome customer service, the friendly and helpful demeanor of the team, and because the food tastes really good! I don't make it out this way very often, but when I'm in the area I plan to return!

I've been here before and returned for the great service and tasty food. Rachael the owner/manager is always there and it feels like I'm becoming a regular customer. Today I got noodles with kung pao and teriyaki chicken. Will be back for sure.

I was standing in the Charlie's line but it took so long I decided to try this new Korean Spot. Food for my husband, he wanted the short ribs... Just by looking at it, it didn't look to appealing- got it anyway. Now my family are all cooks, including myself and when we BBQ or cook short ribs it's soaked in marinade and grilled to perfection. This here was NOT at all anything close. Plain and disappointing. It was a new establishment so we wanted to give it shot. But this is why we stick to what we know because when we tend to go out and try different things it's a hit or miss.

Apparently that night was their 3 (?) year anniversary, so not sure if this is always the case but they did have a whole live DJ on the main floor. When we arrived there were a couple other tables dining. There isn't much seating inside, and most of the tables ended up being blocked off for bottle service lol Me and my girl were there to eat so we ordered as many dishes as our tiny table could handle! Kimchi Carbonara - TBH this tasted like spaghetti... with some kimchi and bacon. It wasn't bad, but it tasted exactly the way I described it. They should just take the carbonara out of the dish's name completely. I wouldn't order it again, just cause the bacon flavor was really smokey and strong. Spicy wings - These were actually really good! Served with pickled jalapenos, pickled radish, and a cabbage salad! Just make sure you get some rice on the side. The wing sauce was spicy! Not overly, but just enough. It was sweet but not too sweet. I would recommend! Mandu- Decent. Not spectacular, but a good side to round out your meal. The dipping sauce was yummy, a nice sweet soy. Pink Venom - The flavor was so good. Tasted like a pink starburst. If you like sweet drinks, this one is it! Didn't taste the alcohol at all though. Parking sucks so bad, we had to park a couple blocks away and cross some train tracks but we made it! The waiters were so nice and checked up on us even with the whole party going on. The bouncers though didn't pass the vibe check and I didn't really like that we got IDed so many times. We're in our mid 30s lol.. be frr. The whole vibe is fun, they have a full bar and apparently in the back room, it's another bar/lounge scene. It wasn't that type of night for me, but I would come back to eat and hang out if I was in the area. Keep in mind though, the crowd is early 20s!

For appetizers I usually get the seafood pancake, so I ordered one of those to share in addition to my cheese soondubu and my companion's kalbi. My eyes nearly popped out of my head when the pancake came out; it was like a foot in diameter and PACKED with squid and other goodies. The consistency was crisp yet fluffy. There were also about 12 different banchan, so something for everyone's tastes. The kalbi came out sizzling and was well seasoned. i enjoyed my tofu soup (medium spicy!) a lot, and the waitress was kind enough to crack the egg in for me. If I had to nitpick, the beef in my soup was a bit tough, but the flavor was excellent overall. Service was great! They even chill the little glasses for makgeolli for you. The lady helping us and the waiter were both pleasant, and I saw another lady who I think might have been the manager coming out to discuss recipes some of the other diners which was very cool.

First of all, the food served is exactly like the photos. I got the short rib bun burger and bulgogi gyoza. The burger (omg) had a balance of sweet and salty but also a little spicy. Halfway through I noticed something yellow, it was a pineapple! Usually I have mixed feelings about pineapple with foods like pizza. But this complimented so well. Now, the gyoza. Crispy and you can't go wrong with bulgogi. What I was surprised with was inside I think it was japchae! If you like Korean food like me, I was so excited to see this twist. And yes it was yummy. I seem to get lucky most times and get to meet the owners. That day I met them and they're so nice! I can tell they put a lot of thought into the menu, ingredients, decor, etc. The owners are Japanese and Korean. Hence KoJa! Even this detail was really impressive. I ended up going back because the owner told me that his wife (also owner) created Yang Nyum and it was really good and popular. So I got Yang Nyum, kamikaze fries, and taro boba. The portions were great. But most of all, he was right about Yang Nyum, delicious! I didn't realize the kamikaze fries had beef, so yummy but I definitely overate that day, lol. One other thing I really liked was you could order at the register or kiosk. This is a great way to avoid lines. Once you order they have a screen that shows your ETA (why do other restaurants not have this?). I did go during the day though. So, I can only imagine how amazing it looks at night. Especially after dancing or bar hopping, the food here would pair well. Koja also sells alcohol too though and apparently downstairs is where the dancing is at. Will I go here again, absolutely.

The wings were fried and coated with sauce with lots of jalapenos. Service was good as the employee offered samples of all their broths to assist in making a selection. I've only eaten here once, but it appeared that was plenty of seating for many more people. When we walk by it's never been packed. Parking is mostly street parking with some parking in local garages. They have 2 very clean unisex bathrooms to the right of the counter. You order at the counter and then they call your number. We arrived a few minutes after Noon. There was only 1 person in-front of us and 1 person behind us so we thought it would be a quick lunch. As it turns out several people went through the line before us and the wait was around 15 minutes. Kind of an excessive wait for a counter lunch. There was one girl holding her baby taking the orders and one girl filling the orders. She was going as fast as she could, but it still took awhile. It got really backed up. I ordered the BBQ Beef Cupbop. I didn't know what to expect. As it turns out the bottom layer is white rice, next is a layer of glass noodles, then comes the can corned, a mixture of cabbage, and topped with the BBQ Beef. It was very tasty. A little on the spicy side, which made it just more flavorful. It wasn't mouth watering or eye tearing hot. It just had a little kick. The consistency of the meat reminded me of ground beef. It was very finely chopped strips. Overall it was really good. Very filling for the amount you get. It's more than we usually have for lunch. My husband had the chicken soy ginger. I had some and it was really good, but fried, so probably not as healthy as the BBQ Beef. It doesn't appear that they cook to order any food here, but they do scoop to order. From what I could see they sell a variety of Cupbop flavors, including a vegetarian option. They also sell sandwiches, salads, and a burrito. They have an ice water dispenser at the end of the counter with water cups. The vibe was interesting. You are surrounded by state worker from all different agencies all minding their own business. Many groups of 2-6 were eating together. There were less singles than groups.
