WHY WE WENT HERE: - wanted to try a new (to us) fried chicken joint THE LOOK (FROM THE OUTSIDE): - located on the corner of 23rd Ave and 42nd Ave - located next door to Hi & Buy Liquor THE LOOK (FROM THE INSIDE): - not a dine-in type of place; it's literally an order and take-out type of place THE MENU: - various fried things including American fried foods and Indian fried foods; menu differed from the front (outdoors) vs. inside (by the cash register) but apparently all items are available to order WHAT WE ORDERED: - bone-in chicken - honey biscuits - potato wedges - onion rings THE TASTE: - the look and taste was reminiscent of (good) Krispy Krunchy Chicken locations, especially the honey biscuits - chicken was very crunchy on the outside and juicy on the inside; seasoned nicely - honey biscuits were good! - potato wedges were solid; hard to find a place that messes those up - onion rings were decent; could have been better if they were packaged in a box vs. in a bag; everything but the onion rings traveled well in the car ride home CUSTOMER SERVICE: - kind of feels like they rush you to order and get out - we were led to believe that the sauces that are in "cups" were in-house; we were surprised to see that it's $0.85 per small Sweet Baby Ray's condiment cup of the Buffalo Wing Sauce and the Barbecue Sauce (just have your go-to condiments at home ready; better deal that way vs. buying the sauce here)

Spicy 6PCS Tenders

The chicken was solid! Pretty large tender pieces, not dry at all. I wish there's was more of the 'spice' seasoning. The wedges were crispy and texturally fun to pop in the mouth and eat. The biscuit has a more bread-like texture than typical biscuits, but still pleasant to eat. The only downside side for me was the prepackaged sauces, I'm not a fan of the flavor of the particular brand they use.

The 5 stars is strictly for the chicken and chicken alone. This is some of the best fried chicken I've ever had. It's crispy, juicy and flavorful. We did order some sides: biscuits, macaroni and cheese, coleslaw and potato wedges. The biscuits were nice and drizzled with honey, while the rest of the sides were hit or miss. Don't get the coleslaw, just don't. Overall, the star of the show is the fried chicken and it's definitely worth the trip. Pro tip, definitely call ahead or order through an app and give them about 20-30 minutes since they fry the chicken to order.

Delicious and crunchy fried chicken! Loved the biscuits as well. The gravy on the mashed potatoes could've used a little more flavor.

It's the best-fried chicken I have ever had in Sacramento. The customer service was excellent, and the chicken was fresh, hot, and crispy.

It can get a bit loud at times, but it's always fun--a great place to cheer for your favorite team and connect with fellow fans. The atmosphere is energetic and laid-back, with plenty of screens. The staff is always friendly and welcoming, which definitely makes the visit even more enjoyable. The food and drink selection isn't huge, but it's varied and hits the spot--perfect for game-watching. It's also convenient that you can book a table online. We'll definitely be back.

The place was bustling, with many tables full, and various sports abound on the numerous TV's. So first the bad, there no longer is a happy hour, so its just menu prices. Considering the large variety of beers available, I tried to order an Octoberfest beer, but... they had no Octoberfest beers available. Lastly, I went to order the prime rib dip sandwich , but their slicer was broken, So in regards to options, menu items and such i was feeling 2 star vibes. Now the good, the server was friendly, and apologetic in regards to above mentioned issues. I ordered a bacon burger and tots with a beer, which was cold and refreshing, the burger was juicy, and full of flavor. My wife ordered a chicken sandwich and tots which was fresh and flavorful. So service and quality of food i give a 4, balanced to an overall 3 for the experience

We popped in and immediately bellied up to the bar. The bartender was super friendly and got our drinks very fast even though the place busy. We quickly found out that it was karaoke night, which is why there was such a packed house. What we didn't know is that the gay men's choir had shown up, after their practice, to have a few drinks and dominate the mic. We ordered a ton of bar food and loved everything. The loaded toys and the fried zucchini were my fave with the sliders being a close second. This is a full bar with beer, wine, and cocktails. I stuck with a vodka soda and my friend sipped on a custom drink. Not sure what it was called, but it was red and my friend really enjoyed it. Not only were we lucky to experience the gay men's choir incredible singing talent, but they also did a full on dance routine to an *NSYNC song. Truly a masterful performance! Amazing vibes and great food. If I lived in the area, this would probably be a regular spot for me!

They have indoor and outdoor seating and definitely give off the dive bar feel. I came in with a coworker after hosting an event. We were looking for a spot still open at 10pm on a Thursday that had food and drinks and that wasn't a chain. Bear Dive was the perfect choice! It ended up being karaoke night and we had drinks, food and amazing entertainment! WOW some of the people there were INCREDIBLE singers- and dancers! We got a little NSYNC, Bye Bye Bye and it truly wowed us! I asked the bartender to make me their favorite cocktail, I don't know what it was but it had tequila and was delicious! We also had the Bacon Cheddar Tots ($10), Sliders ($14), and Fried Zucchini ($9). Everything was well seasoned, flavorful, and cooked well. The perfect food pairings with late night bites. Even though the crowd seemed to be a lot of regulars, we felt welcomed in and really enjoyed ourselves. We found metered street parking easily and I'm already looking forward to my next visit.

Using the yelp app. Due to glitching with the internet service one order was duplicate 7 more times in error and the order went through. I contacted both GrubHub and the restaurant immediately to notify them the error. Thinking someone from the restaurant would also respond wondering if this was correct that someone would be ordering the same exact thing in quantity. Online with Grubhub they left me on hold for 45 minutes and once I reached this location, after I also sent an email, I was told to call another location that was closed. I held one line and called Grubhub from my husband's phone. We are now 30 minutes from the original order being placed and they say it's in process and can't be stopped. Two hours later a delivery person showed up with all this food. We try to declined the order and the driver, nice guy, tells us to call again to get it addressed. All this food going to go to waste. I was no longer hungry. 5 small salads and 8 brisket burgers. Charged for 9 meals. STILL WRONG. NEVER AGAIN WILL I USE YELP PARTNERING WITH GRUBHUB!
