House Family meal are well worth it, food taste great and very affordable prices. I add the salt and pepper fried chicken wings are a perfect addition. All that for $56!

    Orange Chicken Combo (橙鸡)

Wasn't my top Chinese food spot but it wasn't bad my food looked amazing but give it a try for yourself!

For a little place that's is a hole in the wall it was DELICIOUS. it was empty and the inside is t that amazing of environment but sometimes those are the best restaurants. My husband got the General Chicken combination plate and we shared the cream cheese (no crab) wontons, war wonton soup and I had some jalapeno chicken. The war wonton soup is probably the best I've ever had. Flavorful and amazing. The wontons were light and crisp, not thick wrapping like some places. The rice and chow mein were also so full of flavor. The good came out so fast too I was impressed. I'm gonna be coming here for my soup fix from now on. And this place was SO AFFORDABLE for the portion sizes and quality

Great food fast service with a smile and freshly chopped crisp veggies in food salt and pepper chicken wings and Mongolian beef are great here check out the size of their dinner plates huge great tasting food for a good price in a good area plenty of parking check out the menu

I love the price here for good food. I order Mongolian beef and chicken fried rice. The flavor was good. Although the beef meat still has a little chewy. Not as tender. The service was fast and polite.

This place is a bit of a hidden gem and can easily be overlooked in an older shopping center off Northgate, but don't give it a second thought. Give them a try, you won't regret it! I've had this place many times over the years, and it wasn't until recently a friend brought me back. It's one of the only good chinese restaurants left in Sacramento! Let me give the compliment that even after years the quality and taste is still amazing and hasn't changed. The hot n sour soup is amazing especially if you're feeling under the weather. The jalapeño chicken is my ultimate favorite chicken dish. The sesame chicken isn't bad. But there's just something about the sauce on the jalapeño chicken that keeps you coming back for more. This is also one of the only chinese restaurants that still allows indoor dining after COVID. The small indoor seating leaves a warm family feel and the staff is very friendly. The food is always hot and fresh and ready by the time I arrive. Large portions too!

After passing by many days finally decided to go in and try it out, and I'm glad i did! Solid Chinese food for a good price! The food was flavorful and they gave a decent amount. We had the black pepper chicken combo plate with chow mein and rice, and the mongolian beef with fried rice lunch special. Both were fantastic. We'll be eating here again for sure.

Chow Mein was on the mark and the fried chicken wings was excellent. Received my order in 25 minutes after I placed the order. Definitely will reorder again next week.

Had the whole family in town for thanksgiving, so of course the night before we ordered up Chinese food! I heard it's under new owners so I got nervous, but they came through! Everything we ordered had to be gluten free due to some allergy in the family, but everything was top notch. We went around the table and asked what everyone's favorite dish was and everyone gave a different answer. We batted 1,000 tonight on the ordering. We got the house combo chow fun, broccoli beef, kung pao chicken, orange chicken, sesame chicken, sweet and sour pork, generals pork, and honey walnut shrimp. Everything was phenomenal and everyone was happy! I'm glad the new owners are doing great! My favorite was the chow fun. It had chicken, beef, shrimp, and bbq pork in it and was unbelievable.

Do they still offer the buffet option ? If so, what is the price for lunch?

The lunch buffet is longer available at this time. Many choices available on the menu, including combination plates, and family meals at a value. Thank you.

    Are you open Christmas?

We will be open on 24th, closed on 25th and 26th. Happy holidays, Thank you.

Do you have any gluten free options?

Of course! Many dishes don’t include any grain proteins at all. I’d say most sautés are safe. Avoid any dishes with batter or we can always make an alternative batter with corn or potato starch by request. Or you can always make a request to exclude… Read more

So I'm planning my next trip here this week so I can enjoy the amazing cucumber salad (so fresh, crunchy and garlicky), their pepper beef clay pot (sizzling rice at the bottom for the win and big portions), their spicy tofu (umm what?!? So crispy) and their awesome skewers (the pork belly is my favorite). The space is small, so if you're planning on dining in during peak times, you may want a back up or take it to go as they only have a handful of tables inside and a few tables outside. There is parking but it is shared with other business so can get busy. The service is wonderful! The hostess/waitress was very friendly and everything came out relatively quick. The clay pot does take some time (they need to cook up the rice to get that awesome crunchy bottom) so place your order for that first, and then look at the appetizers and skewers as they come out fast. This was my first trip but will not be my last to Da Fei Ge!

It was nice enough that I tried to come here on a weekend night and it was packed full of families which is great but probably where I should have thought about it more. We went up to the counter and were told to wait a few minutes. I saw that a large table was clearing up so I didn't mind waiting. During this time a group came up behind us and I thought they were after us. One of the server waved in our general direction after cleaning up and splitting the table, so I thought they were gesturing to us since it has already been 10 minutes of waiting. Wrong, it was to the group behind us. Maybe it was communicated in mandarin that they had a reservation, I'm not sure. I waited for the next empty table, which was also taken by yet another group that magically appeared behind us as if they knew they were in line. I decided to leave after this. My issue is that I looked and talked to the staff multiple times and at no point, did they indicate there was a waitlist, nor did they take my name, or anything about people in front of us. It was really frustrating because being told it would be a few minutes set the wrong expectation. This is not the only place to get skewers so if you're left confused where you are in line, just come another weekday, speak mandarin, or go somewhere else like I did

My husband and I lived in the Bay Area for a while before moving to Davis for school, so our standards are pretty high. Unfortunately this is not going to be my new go to. Although the flavors of the food were pretty OK, we found everything to be really soft. Our shrimp and chive dumplings were literally disintegrating and my chicken feet were too soft. The sticky rice, however, and the tripe were delicious sui mai, and ha gao were pretty good, with the sui mai being pretty juicy. We paid $100 for 10 dishes! I know prices have gone up everywhere but this felt pretty steep. Overall, I don't think we'd come back. Despite there being endless selections in Sacramento sometimes the American Chinese options are .... bleh ... They are either too oily. Mediocre taste. Overpriced. One of my coworkers was the one who recommended this spot. Let me just say the food was incredible. The seafood chow mein was the standout dish out of everything. Loaded with octopus tentacles, scallops, shrimp. Feel like half the time you get seafood options these days they skimp out but this place did not disappoint. The fried rice was a little more unique than I've personally tried before with pieces of beef and cabbage. But still very tasty. And the pork dishes we got including the sweet and sour were just incredible. One thing I do want to mention was some pieces of the pork did have a bone attached, but I honestly didn't mind it much.
