    Beef fried rice
    Alex T.

My favorite item from here is the vietnamese charred pork over rice. The rice is viet rice. The pork has a nice marinate and thin little slices. The portion is great too and comes with a nice green salad too. The price is wonderful too. . Also it's a great walk from work which isn't too far away. It's next to la bou if your wondering. . My co worker got some chow mein and fried rice here which he chose veggie option. I tasted it and loved it. I was surprised how comforting it was. Those were what he chose to bring to a pot luck and it fed many of us too. . My other co worker got a banh mi sandwich from here and I forgot I'f she liked it or not. But now her go to order is the vietnamese pork over rice too. Hope this review helps andthanks for reading . Have a yelptastic day.

Service was good...hesitant to return bc it just wasn't that good and surprised they did not have Sriracha sauce. They only let you do half rice/half chow mein with a one item combo. The sweet and sour pork was lacking in flavor and quantity. They seemed to give me more of the chow mein and rice as filler. Just a counter you order at and take to go, although there are tables to sit at outside.

I just had the shrimp spring rolls, cream cheese crab Rangoons, and the Thai tea. Everything was yummy!

Food is very bland. I got s&s chicken, kung pao and chow main. It's hot, I'll give them that, but Panda Express tastes better. Someone should check if it passes health and safety.

Food so buss that we forgot to take a picture of it until halfway through. I got the Bay Bridge roll (clearly I liked this one a little bit more because there's only 1 left) and the Tsunami roll (the one with the jalapeños on top). Mushroom Bomb with the imitation crab was a recommended appetizer that was not a disappointment. 10/10 would get it again. Overall super yummy & super nice staff :D

It's a nice spot to grab a quick bite. They started serving sushi today. Haven't tried it yet but I intend to the next time I come.

Good food, good customer service, decent ambiance. I love Mongolian beef, however Dragon House puts too much rice and not enough meat.

Combo plate with fried rice and orange chicken.
    Alison K.

3/5 because it wasn't bad but it wasn't great. $9.45 for the combo plate and there's a lot of food! I could not finish it in one sitting. And it wasn't too busy during lunch time which was nice. The fried rice was definitely the star. I think orange chicken can vary so much from place to place that it may be a hit or a miss and while it wasn't a complete miss I wouldn't recommend it. If I go back (which I probably will) I'll try something different.

    Charbroiled pork and rice

I got the Charbroiled Pork with rice, I took a few bites before taking the photo lol but this isn't exactly charbroiled and that's the only reason I did put 5 stars because it is still delicious and reminds me of a Vietnamese pork dish my grandma makes. The seating outside is nice, and service was great. I will return.

The lady up front was super nice. I got the combination plate. Kung pao, orange chicken. & 2 egg rolls. I really appreciate her patience as I was looking at the menu to see what I wanted. Excellent service

Orange Chicken with steamed rice and chow mein
    MT F.

Ordered the orange chicken with chown mein and steamed rice. It was overall good. Nothing spectacular. Decent price for what you get. I didn't care for the chow mein to much. Noodles were a little big and dense for my taste. Would go back but not get chow mein.

Glad that The Dragon House now serves sushi. I was there on the first day when it served to take advantage of 20% off. The price is very reasonable. The rolls were very good. Will definitely come back to try the new items on the menu.

Love their Raw Steak Noodle Soup. It's a thin sliced beef served with thin rice noodles. I think it's way better than their Wor Wonton Soup.

I originally came in fully committed to ordering the Bún Bò Huế (P4), but the moment I heard about the $3.50 giant rib add-on, all bets were off. I switched to the P1 Combo Pho just so I could have that massive, fall-off-the-bone rib soaking in that rich, aromatic broth and it was absolutely worth it. The broth was deeply savory and comforting, layered with flavor without being overly salty, and that rib took things to another level. Tender, meaty, and perfectly braised, it made each bite feel extra indulgent. My boyfriend went with the bánh mì pork sandwich, and we added fried egg rolls for the table. The bánh mì had that perfect balance of crispy baguette, juicy pork, and fresh pickled veggies, while the egg rolls came out hot, crunchy, and packed with flavor. We also got the chance to meet the owner/chef and had such a great conversation, which made the whole experience feel even more personal. Service was friendly and attentive throughout the night. Safe to say, this spot continues to deliver -we'll definitely be back for more.

We felt transported back to Vietnam when we sipped the sugarcane and calamansi juice. If they have it (listed seasonal on the menu), try it! The broken rice plates also remind me of the places my mom took me to in Westminster and Garden Grove growing up. The accompaniments(hanh mo), whole Thai chilies, and chicken broth are signs of the authenticity. Meats are marinated and grilled nicely too. Everything is so so good. Support this place and family. We ordered the combo pho, and the broth was surprisingly bland & lacking the depth and richness you'd expect. The meat was tough, there was barely any tripe, and no tendon at all, which was disappointing for a "combo." I also requested less noodles, but that adjustment was mistakenly given to my husband's bowl instead. Not a huge issue on its own, but it added to the overall experience. That said, the menu offers a wide variety of broken rice dishes, so it seems like that might be more of their specialty. If I were to return, I'd probably try one of those instead of the pho.

We started with the Soft Shell Crab served with lettuce, herbs, and a tangy vinaigrette. It was very delicious and perfectly crunchy, although the portion was quite small. The Fried Chicken Dumplings were also very good, and the dipping sauce paired perfectly with them. The Saigon Alley Wings were equally delicious -- crispy, flavorful, and definitely one of the highlights. The Dynamite Scallops tasted amazing as well, but again, the portion was very small, so I'd recommend ordering more than one if sharing. The Fried Shrimp tossed in salt and pepper with jalapeños was nicely balanced and not overly salty. The Fried Calamari with cilantro aioli was cooked perfectly -- tender and not rubbery at all. For the mains, the Charbroiled Pork Chops and Short Ribs topped with scallion oil, shallots, and fish sauce vinaigrette were wonderfully flavorful, and the meat was tender. We also tried the Garlic Noodles, which were decent, although I've had better garlic noodles at other restaurants, and they arrived a little cold. The Garlic String Beans sautéed in garlic butter sauce with chili flakes were surprisingly one of my favorites -- crunchy, garlicky, and absolutely delicious. I also loved the Thai Tea because it wasn't overly sweet. For dessert, we tried the sesame balls with condensed milk, which we enjoyed, although it was the only dessert option on the menu. Overall, the food was flavorful and well-prepared, but the portions definitely lean on the smaller side. Ratings:* Ambience: 4/5* Food: 3.5/5* Service: 3/5 -- mainly because it took about 30 minutes to receive the bill. Still worth trying if you enjoy flavorful Vietnamese fusion dishes and don't mind smaller portions.

It was a bummer when they told us they didn't make ox tail or bum rieu today. Instead we ordered beef tartare, beef pho and shaken beef with rice. The beef tartare was this sliced raw beef with onion, herbs and lime which made the dish rich and savory. The pho was mediocre and same goes for the shaken beef, but both dishes were still tasty enough. During our time there, the server did not check on us or refill our water. If I'm craving for seafood, maybe I'll come back to try their seafood options.

The sandwich was very large, The bread was still warm. I took the sandwich home, but I ate the bao bun on the way home. It was very good. The bun had a good consistency, and the chicken was excellent. Seasoned well, just the right amount of breading, and tender on the inside. When I got the banh mi home, that's when I discovered the mixup. But I enjoyed it just as much. The egg was fluffy, and the pork was excellent. . It was a little bit sweet, like a Char siu. The pork was also very tender. The veggies were fresh. There was generous Portions. I was only going to eat half, but it was so good, I ended up eating the whole thing.
