Great atmosphere and wonderful friendly service. We were hungry after running some errands in South Sacramento area and the wife wanted some Vietnamese food. This place was a great choice! Clean restaurant except the floors are a bit sticky. But other than the floors the interior is really nice and well done. Definitely check out Co Ba Saigon!

All the dishes were on point and authentic. Tony was also very helpful and checked on us often. Decoration reminded me of Vietnam. Will come back.

Beef rib pho

The beef rip pho was delicious and huge!! Waitstaff was very friendly and took great care of us. The spring rolls and Thai tea were yummy. The only thing I would point out is that all five water cups that were at our table smelled very strongly of bleach so we didn't drink any water. Not sure if it just happened to be our cups, but it was very late in the day and we were super hungry so we just ordered different drinks. Pho was flavorful so will definitely coming back to eat here again.

Seafood with Noodles

FOOD - Seafood With Rice or Egg Noodle: I ordered mine with both types of noodles, no veggies, and dry. It came with fish balls, squid, shrimp, and tobiko fishball. I liked the addition of tobiko fishballs. The flavor was good but the broth could have used more flavor. 3.5/5 SERVICE: I came with my family and parents. Our server was friendly and engaged with my kids. He was very accommodating to all of our asks and needs. Service was great except my mom didn't get her food until everyone else was almost done with theirs. We had to ask about her order as it was coming out. Then she felt rushed because she didn't want us to wait on her. 3/5 FINAL THOUGHTS: I would come back and try other items. Hopefully they don't forget any of our orders.

The customer service was Excellent! Our server Tony made sure we had everything and continued to come check on us. The Best part was the food was so delicious! Flavor and great presentation!

Bun Rieu & Sweet Sour Catfish soup

Not bad at all...this location/spot has changed ownerships a few times so I was reluctant to come back but much to my dismay they have a variety of dishes I really like. After reading some of the latest reviews and I had a craving for Bun Rieu We ventured back to try Pho Co Ba Dishes we ordered: Canh chua/Sweet Sour soup with cat fish Camalized Pork belly Bun Rieu All were delicious and tasty Service was a bit chaotic but not enough to complain Note: location/area is sketchy due to the parking lot activities! We will definitely come back and try their other dishes Bon appetite

Spring rolls

Went here on a cold winter night in February with my siblings for dinner. The restaurant had a steady stream of customers, but was not overly packed, which I prefer. We ordered the spring rolls and the duck rice plate as an appetizer. I liked both dishes, but did prefer the spring rolls and the peanut sauce. Both dishes were good. I ended up ordering a small bowl of pho for myself and it was good. My siblings all ordered pho as well except one who ordered the Bun Bo Hue. We all liked our dishes and the customer service was excellent. I did not know am old friend of mines family owns this restaurant so it was a nice surprise. This restaurant is located next to a liquor store, which is busy and has a lot of customers coming and going. Will be back again

Pork chop rice plate

This particular restaurant spot always changes but I am glad I gave this place a try! I definitely think they now have better pho and food options than the past previous restaurants. I got #27 which is a pork chop rice plate. It was so filling! Great portions for everything it came with and the server gave me a side of broth which complimented the meal so well. My family got their pho and the broth was flavorful. I tried the tendon in the pho and it literally just melts! Best part ever. The space is clean and open. The servers are very nice and welcoming. I'll definitely come back!

Part of the Family Dinner for 2 - veggie dish not pictured

Stopped by here while running errands in Sac Town. We got the family dinner for 2 - canh chua shrimp, caramelized catfish claypot and stir fried veggies ($45.99) plus the offal plate appetizer ($17.99). All dishes were amazingly good... the com gia dinh reminds me of the dinners I had with my family as a kid. The canh chua soup is one of the best I've ever had at a restaurant. Can't wait to return next time I'm in town!! Staff is so helpful and attentive, esp our waiter and Tony :) bathrooms are super clean and there is plenty of parking.

Stopped by here after my usual pho place closed for the day. Got the banh canh and it didnt disappoint. It was clean and very friendly staff. Will definitely come back. Tony was awesome! Cant wait to try other items!

Bun Bo Hue

My boyfriend and I wanted something warm after our snowboarding trip, so we came here. Parking was super quick to find! There wasn't a lot of people in store, but the ambiance was nice and it seemed like they had a lot of online orders. We both got the Bun Bo Hue, and it came out fresh! I like my bun bo hue super spicy, so I had to add a bit more chili sauce. Our waiter was super friendly as well!

Seafood Pho

We happen to find this place by chance on the road home back to the Bay Area, and initially we were confused on where it was because they had changed their name. It's in the same plaza as New Asia Supermarket, and it's the only pho place there. For a late lunch, we were seated immediately. The menu is quite extensive, but we came in for pho because we were craving some noodles after the weekend on the slopes. We ordered the spring rolls to start with, and I personally ordered the seafood pho. Spring rolls were freshly made, soft and delicious. I liked how my pho's soup was light and clear. It didn't taste super heavy or full of MSG. I love the fried garlic and chives in there. I've never encountered seafood pho with fish balls, but these were really good. It had 2 shrimps and plenty of squid. I tried the beef pho soup from my husband's pho, and I liked how it tasted well seasoned with real spices... not MSG. I'm very MSG sensitive so I'm glad I'm not getting a headache while typing this. Our server Tony was very attentive and nice to us so I gotta say that's a plus. Super friendly guy! This place is definitely worth the stop.

My pops and I came here for a nice little lunch. This place is located in the New Asia Supermarket plaza. First impression, this place seems brand new. It was pretty quiet when we walked in, there was a good amount of people in there. The man who sat us down didn't speak English well, it actually seemed like he was in training. But he was very nice. My dad ordered a medium #1 (pho dac biet) and I ordered a small #2 (pho tai) and we also got the fried calamari. Food- The calamari was very good! I haven't had good calamari in a while, but I loved the batter on it and the squid wasn't rubbery. The pho was good! The broth was super flavourful and there was a good ratio of noodles and meat. My dad and I both enjoyed our meal. Service was very sweet and kind. My dad accidentally spilled his water on himself and the workers immediately came and helped clean up the mess! They even gave us a towel so my dad can dry himself up. So thanks for that :)

Is it closed now? Drove to it and it looked closed down

I think so. We also drove by into the plaza and couldn't find the place. Others say it was previously a restaurant named something else but we didn't see any building indicating the old or new name

Was this the restaurant that used to be Pho Sacto? Is it same management, just different name?

Yes! This the restaurant that used to be "Pho Sacto". It doen't look like it has the same management,

Pair it with a rich, flavorful bowl of Mi Quang, and you're in food heaven. Try their bun cha ca, vermicelli noodles w fish cake super light and excellent broth! I also like their banh xeo here, very crispy and the right amount of veggies. PRO-TIP YOU NEED TO TRY: Don't sleep on their appetizer menu! Stop by TK Noodles down the street first, grab some chicharrones to-go, and sprinkle them right on top of the Banh Beo here. Total game changer! Try something else besides pho, I love pho but Vietnamese cuisine has many distinct soup dishes when you factor in regional variations, unique broths, and different noodle types. If you look past phở, Vietnamese soups generally fall into a few massive, distinct categories based on how the broth is built and what kind of noodle is used.

The dipping sauce lacked flavor and the color was a bit off-putting. For ~$4 a roll, I was hoping for more. Banh Hoi Chao Tom: There was a crispy exterior to my chao tom, but it definitely looked way different than I know chao tom to be. I'm used to the sugarcane inside the patty to infuse it with the sweetness and aroma, but here my sugarcane sticks were kinda just laying there on my plate (lol). There also isn't much shrimp in the mixture so the chao tom truly lacked excitement. There was no complexity of flavor.. just crispy-ness which carried the dish. Overall, 4/10.

I also always take friends and family visiting here and it never disappoints. The yelp wait is pretty accurate, so I recommend joining before you head over to avoid having to wait there. Last time I went and checked, it was about an hour wait so I joined it and did some grocery shopping nearby before going there. I've had everything on the menu so it's up to the point where it depends on what I'm feeling. Everything on the menu is different so it's not too hard to choose. If I want something soupy, I'll go for the crab udon, if I want rice, the fried rice, something full of flavor, the Banh Mi Chao, something light, then the Banh Khot (good option since they don't make Banh Xeo on the weekends). The last time I went 07/04/2026, I noticed on the wall they were having a special, Bun Bo Hue, which I love when I go to pho restaurants. I'm not sure if it's new or I've been blind this whole time, but it did not disappoint. It was full of flavor, and it was nice that they put the spicy paste on the side for you to adjust the spiciness. I love spicy foods but one of my friends do not, so it was easy for us to enjoy our meal. It was also not just a spicy sauce to add; there was a past along with it. Shrimp paste maybe? I didn't ask, but it enhanced the flavor, so I recommend using it. Their sister restaurant, Me's Kitchen is next on my list to try. Can't wait!

We ordered the combo pho, and the broth was surprisingly bland & lacking the depth and richness you'd expect. The meat was tough, there was barely any tripe, and no tendon at all, which was disappointing for a "combo." I also requested less noodles, but that adjustment was mistakenly given to my husband's bowl instead. Not a huge issue on its own, but it added to the overall experience. That said, the menu offers a wide variety of broken rice dishes, so it seems like that might be more of their specialty. If I were to return, I'd probably try one of those instead of the pho.

We mixed our fish sauce with the chili sauce and this was so good. I wish it came with a little bit more veggies as I like to lettuce wrap my cha gio. Banh Cuon combo plate was also very good but the banh cuon was absolutely the best part - next time I would just order a plate of only the rice rolls! Inside has spacious table seating, some with booth and good lighting inside. There was ballad vietnamese music video playing. The restaurant was not busy and there were elderly men at the tables playing cards and some at another table they were chatting & drinking. Im not sure if they hold karaoke or have live bands but there is a stage with music instruments and a projector with installed party lights. When we entered the restaurant we were greeted right away. It was a bummer when they told us they didn't make ox tail or bum rieu today. Instead we ordered beef tartare, beef pho and shaken beef with rice. The beef tartare was this sliced raw beef with onion, herbs and lime which made the dish rich and savory. The pho was mediocre and same goes for the shaken beef, but both dishes were still tasty enough. During our time there, the server did not check on us or refill our water.
