The drinks were ok. If you are into powdery, colorful drinks that cost a lot, then this is perfect for you. The taro milk tea was quite sugary and a perfect shade of light lavender. The guava slush that my friend got was vibrantly reddish orange. Service is friendly and ambiance is great. Drinks are not. Average C.

I initially came here since I was driving pass town and wanted some boba and curly fries! Unfortunately they no longer have curly fries which I was disappointed about but no big deal. Plus we got extra sauces thanks to the cashier/bobarista. I also ended up getting milk tea and fruit tea as well. Not bad!

WHY WE WENT HERE: - boba and snacks THE LOOK (FROM THE OUTSIDE): - locatd in a small plaza off La Riviera Dr and College Town Dr - unfortunately a very sketchy parking lot THE LOOK (FROM THE INSIDE): - mid-century modern Ikea looking furniture - games available on shelving THE MENU: - popular snacks - bento box series - snacks - milk tea series - latte series - slushies series - fruit tea series - smoothie & shake series WHAT WE ORDERED: - crab cream cheese wontons - mozzarella cheese sticks - curly fries - fried mushrooms - oolong milk tea with boba - mango slush THE TASTE: - all the snacks and drinks were pretty good; the mozzarella cheese sticks were a bit salty and the fried mushrooms were greasier than anticipated though CUSTOMER SERVICE: - welcoming - quick

Really enjoyed the drink, especially the boba pearls, and the atmosphere! The staff was also really nice. Only wish it was not as pricey!

I was really craving milk tea when I came back from my day trip and Tea Bay was still opened and around the area. I ordered an Roasted Oolong Milk Tea with crema. I was actually really surprised how good the drink was. I was thinking it was going to be like your typical below average boba place, but it had the sweetness and nuttiness taste. I would definitely recommend the drink. I would say the only con is that it's a little pricy. I got a large and it was more than $7 with the crema. I would definitely come back but it wouldn't be mh go to place just because of the price!

Bento box chicken katsu and mozzarella sticks. They give you piping hot sesame balls with your bento here!

Really solid tea spot! I would rate this place a 4.5 out of ten based on the following: Drinks: -taro smoothie half sugar with egg pudding -dragon fruit chia smoothie half sugar The consistency of my drink was perfect. I ordered it half sugar bc I was afraid it would be too sweet but it was actually not too sweet at all. The drink would have prob been perfect had it been full sugar so that's my own fault. As for the taro smoothie and its toppings, it was decent however the texture wasn't as perfect as mine and my bf and I agreed the taro flavor could have been stronger. It was also pretty sweet despite being 50%, so I have a feeling they probably add less taro powder rather than omit the sugar which is why it was blander. I think it's safer to just go for full sugar or 75 percent for their smoothie based drinks so as to not mess with the taste and consistency of the drink. As for food my bf ordered a bento and mozzarella sticks and Said they were also all solid. I really love the fact that they even included sesame balls with his bento and they were piping hot and delicious!I would Def come back to try their fried tofu and fried mushroom.

Tea, boba and snacks. Plenty of options to get your drink on. Weather you like em hot, iced or blended they got you. We have tried a variety of drinks and bonas. The kids favorite are the popping bobas and the adults like the jelly bobas. The service has been ok when it is packed and decent when its not. They do have some board games to play when waiting or chilling out for your drinks/food. Parking in the lot can be tricky and packed, seating they do have some. They also have point system here with 5 stars. Just make sure to let them know you did put it in to get your points, it might slip there mind while they are busy working and forget to tap it in.

One of my favorite boba places in Sac! The oreo ice cream shake is so good, the boba is really good as well. Highly recommend!

A gem in a somewhat sketchy plaza. This place may be hidden in the corner but the interior is very welcoming and nice. We had the brown sugar creme brûlée milk tea with boba and it was delicious just a tad on the sweeter side. As for the food, the popcorn chicken and French fries were a bit seasoned too much but the flavor was yummy! The worker was by herself and yet she was friendly, maintained multiple customers and was quick with our order. Great for college students since it's near Sac State!

Not one to leave a claim like that unvalidated, I had to give it a try. Since I came for chicken, I ordered the Fried Chicken, Petaluma half bird, infused maple, Szechuan peppercorn, orange and rosemary. While this is not traditional southern fried chicken, its a marvelous fusion of flavors on the moistest chicken breast I have had in a very long time! The flavor profile is so well executed that the various components surface to your senses on a seeming time-release so you taste them at different times during the bite, leaving you with a hint of orange lingering into the next bite. I'm impressed! The staff are some of the friendliest I have met at a restaurant and they are very proud of their menu offerings. A very nice young man, Sam, came to inquire how I was enjoying my meal, as if the growing pile of very clean bones were not enough. Despite him preparing to leave his shift, he took the time to tell me about the special spicy chicken coconut broth they only serve on Saturdays, and even made a special effort to bring me a sample! Let's just say, I will be back on a Saturday! The number of menu offerings is not extensive but, from the dishes I saw on other tables, the portions are generous and look quite appetizing. I guess I will have to come back soon and try them! Great job!

I tried their sukiyaki set, both wagyu and seafood. I wish they had given some instructions on the approach or order I should eat the sets of food. It was a little chaotic trying to figure out how I could submerge all the ingredients in the broth so they would cook evenly. The tempura is perfectly crispy, but the rice was a little brittle and got dried really fast. The texture was more like Vietnamese broken rice, and it caught me off guard because when I tried their sushi a while ago, they used very high-quality rice. As is typical with sukiyaki, the broth becomes very flavorful at the end, absorbing all the flavors from high-quality ingredients, but my udon got a little dry while waiting. Since I tried both set, the wagyu sukiyaki broth became a little too sweet at the end. My favorite is definitely the seafood sukiyaki broth. Would I try these pricy sukiyaki again? Probably not. Would I go back to Azayaka again? 100%. This would not discourage me from going back there any amount.

The location was a bit odd, as there were barely any other businesses nearby. There is street parking that you can pay for. It's a fairly small restaurant. We were were seated pretty quickly. We opted for mild spice on this. I would order this again. -Chicken pad thai: Done very well! Some places the pad thai is too sweet, but this one was very balanced and had a good tamarind flavor. Medium spicy was a bit on the spicy side, but perfect for me! Would order this again. -Duck larb: Unique, but I couldn't tell it was duck. My partner enjoyed this more than I did. The portion for the larb was on the smaller side and it came with some lettuce, radish, carrots, cucumbers. -Mee kati ground pork: A very unique dish that not many Thai restaurants seem to have, in which it came with noodles, and a variety of toppings like beans sprouts, lettuce, green beans, peanuts, and cilantro. It came with a fermented curry gravy, and it delicious! I would totally order this again. -Green Thai tea: Quite fragrant and not too full on half and half like some other places have it. The staff was super friendly and helped me make some decisions for my order and recommended the umami udon special, which I'm so happy about. The food was made fresh and took a little bit, but was packed with care and was nice and hot. I took it home to enjoy and the food was still hot and the portion sizes were really generous. The Umami Udon was amazing, it had perfectly cooked udon noodles that had a great chew in a creamy teriyaki sauce with smokey bacon, mushrooms, onions and garlic. It was a great mix of sweet and savory and lived up to it's umami name. I would order this again and again, it was so good. The Build Your Own bowl was also delicious and I can see why the chicken katsu is a customer favorite. The veggies were fresh and the fried rice was really flavorful.
