Sunshine Kitchen is a hidden gem that instantly feels honest, unpretentious, and full of flavor. The moment you walk in, the vibe hits -- comfy booths, friendly staff, and a kitchen that smells like something good is always cooking. Between the sushi-grade fish for the poke bowls and the steaming ramen broths, this spot wraps fresh ingredients and heart into every dish.

Lovely service! Food was great and he even gave me a free soda. Clean interior and bathroom was clean too. A good place and has a good spread of southeast asian food. My fav item was the eggrolls.

    Angel wings

I didn't realize this place was here! I got the angel wings and they were fantastic. The staff were super friendly. The online ordering is awesome as well and allows you to do all modifications. I can't wait to try more thing from here!

New spot on Eleanor with a lot of menu items to choose from. We will be back for more. Kao piak was delicious, a bit on the sweeter side that I'm not quite used to. I had to tone it down with some lime. I wish they didn't put the sugar in their broth & allow the customers to do so according to taste preference. I rated a 9 because they are not stingy with their meat ratio & the noodles for perfect.

Pho, papaya, egg roll, angel wings, and rice

Friendly and great customer service. Papaya is delicious 10/10 for me :) The pho is yummy, the eggroll is a no go! The stuffing is very little and the wrap is like double wrap, I hope they can stuff more , honestly looks like someone forgot to stuff it more or it just comes like that ......it's more like egg roll wrap with a taste of stuffing only! The angel wing was bomb. Please do BETTER ON EGG ROLLS!

    Papaya Salad

Place doesn't look like they have good food but the papaya is good. I haven't had papaya like this in a long time, a must try!

Angel Wings, Deep Fried Fish, & Raw bitter laab!

The woman at the front who took my order was very nice. I've dined in before and the tables are fully set up with all the necessary condiments, but today I just needed to get home and hope the food could do its thing. I ordered the pho gai, which is lighter and cleaner than the typical Vietnamese beef pho. The broth has a slightly fermented, deeply umami flavor, probably from fish sauce, along with lemongrass, chicken broth, chicken breast, and ginger. Perfect when you're stuck with a cold. It was packaged really well with chili oil, jalapeños, celery, lime, and the noodles on the side. There isn't a ton of chicken if you're looking for high protein, but I didn't care. It was so good and soothing. Nothing like sweating over a bowl of herbal soup while sick. I also ordered the Lao sausage, which has a great blend of aromatics, especially lemongrass. It comes with a sauce I'm not totally familiar with, but it's bright and limey, likely fish-sauce based, with something like charred pepper or tomato that almost reminds me of a Mexican salsa. So good. This place is awesome. I've only ever gotten soups here, but I definitely need to branch out and try more of the menu. Prices are very fair too. The soup alone was just under 1.5 liters so great bang for your buck.

From the very first visit, we were impressed. Our party of four ordered six different items, and honestly, every single one was delicious. We loved it so much that we returned another day for dinner and ended up ordering ten different items from the menu. Once again, everything was excellent. What stood out most was how flavorful everything tasted without feeling greasy, overly sweet, or too heavy. The ingredients in both the savory dishes and desserts complemented each other really well, and you could tell a lot of thought went into the flavors and presentation. The staff were consistently warm, friendly, and welcoming throughout all of our visits, which made the experience even better. On our final day in town, we had a group of 18 people after a sushi feast and decided to order a large variety of desserts from here. The only downside we experienced was that the online menu didn't fully match what was actually available in the store. Since our group coordinated orders remotely, about one-third of the items selected online were unavailable when we went to pick everything up, so we had to reorganize several orders at the last minute. Even with that small inconvenience, we absolutely loved this place and would happily return the next time we're in town.

There's plenty of parking. Upon arrival... Pros 1) staffs were very nice and professional. 2) we got the beef laab and pad see ew. Both dishes were good. Mochi waffles were good. Had nice big chunks of coconut in it. Water tasted good. No funky taste to water. 3) our table looked cleaned, cups, plates and utensils clean. 4) server brought us a plate each with utensils and 1 napkin per person. I didn't see additional napkins on the table. 5) there are cute little anime toys there. 6) they have little jars of jabong you can buy. 7) Cons 1) the people with me didn't like their drinks. Ube boba and Thai tea didn't taste good. It didn't taste bad either. It's like something was missing they said. But they were nice enough to add more milk to the Thai tea. 2) 3) Conclusion I like this little restaurant. There's lots plates I wanted to try. So I'll have to come here again to try different plates. To me, I love the mochi Waffle. There's chunky coconut flesh in each. And it's very mochi-y, just the way I like it. Our food dishes were good. Staffs nice. Plenty of parking. No issues with parking. There's only one bathroom (1 stall) for both men and women. You just gotta wait your turn. Bathroom ran out of paper towels. We would come here again.

The restaurant is located in a small plaza close to my house, which makes it really convenient to visit. When entering, you're greeted by welcoming staff and a short wait time as it's not always too busy there all the time. It is also small inside the restaurant, but that adds to the comforting feeling it gives off. My favorite item on the menu is the drunken noodles with chicken, and I usually pick 3 out of 5 for my spice level. I like that they allow you to choose how spicy you want your food because they are considerate of all spice tolerance levels. If I'm not ordering the drunken noodles, I'm getting the Pad Thai with chicken! I usually place orders over the phone as I tend to get KB's with my family, and they prepare the order so quickly. From my sister's house to the restaurant, it's about 6-7 minutes. After placing my order, it's usually done in 10-15 minutes which is really fast for 3-4 items at a time! Whether you're in the mood for eating out or ordering for pickup, KB's Thai Hut is a great choice for Thai food! I've been coming here consistently for a few years and they do not disappoint! I'd definitely recommend the drunken noodles with chicken and their Lao style papaya salad!

I didn't like the pad see ew at all (flavor or ingredients - where's the broccoli or egg?) and the kaopoon needed a lot more coconut milk. I also prefer thicker noodles for my kaopoon. The ones they used were like angel hair thickness compared to the spaghetti sized ones i like. The Thai tea tasted fresh, but I've had better. My bf got the yellow curry and said it was good. I don't like curry so it was a no for me. Prices were fair and much better than most places. Service was also good. Order at the window. Seat yourself and the lady walks around to the front to bring the food to you. You grab napkins, utensils, and sauces yourself. Cute outdoor vibes, but not great in winter or extreme weather. It was windy and cold when we went, so not ideal but it wasn't horrible. Parking was easy. We parked on the street across from Smart & Final. There are some parking spaces right across the alley, but I'm not sure if it's ok to park there.. there weren't signs saying it was only for residents or a specific business, but the street parking wasn't much further so we didn't bother moving our car. Overall, I wanted to love it, but it just wasn't my personal taste preference. For reference, my favorite Thai place right now is Tuk Tuk. But, I would still recommend that people try it. Others seem to really love it, so I guess it just depends on how you like your Thai food. 3.5 stars rounded up to 4.
