Have been meaning to try this place for a very long time, and let's say it was worth the visit! The decor of the restaurant was very pink, pretty and clean, with modern lighting, glossy tiles and interior, and overall has a great space for big groups as well as casual dining. They even have karaoke rooms as well. It was super busy, but the service was superb! We were checked in very quickly, and received our items (soup/apps/meats) within seconds of ordering. The staff were super kind and friendly, assisting with providing recommendations and giving us safety precautions as they want us to have an enjoyable meal. Super appreciative that they check in every so often to see how we're doing and if we'd like to order more. We ordered mostly brisket and ribeye, but the portions were good for the size group we had. It was delicious! I favored the ribeye more. The food bar area was super clean and looked spotless when I went to grab veggies and seafood. The sauce bar was also clean and didn't have drips of sauces lying everywhere. This place also has unlimited soda drinks as well. This place is amazing, loved the food and will definitely come back here again to try their karaoke rooms!
I am really impressed on the quality of the food and the customer service. AYCE wagyu for $35.99 is a must try. The quality of the wagyu for this price is definitely worth it. My mother does not speak English so it was really nice that our server was able to communicate with her in our native language. I love the vast variety of toppings at the bar that ranges from different meatballs, fishballs, seafood, vegetables, and noodles. There is also a sauce bar. I ordered the spicy miso soup and I really enjoyed it. My favorites are the A5 brisket, A5 ribeye, premium wagyu, Chinese donut, crispy bean curd sheets, and the sesame balls with red bean filling. I would absolutely dine in again.
We were a party of seven (7), expecting a typical meal via hot pot. We ended up leaving with a wonderful experience, would highly recommend! AMBIENCE ***** Small and cozy; modern vibes. Clean atmosphere. Lights can be also be dimmed in the private rooms for karaoke. SERVICE ***** Incredible service. Very attentive, respectful and kind. Fast and efficient. Very wholesome vibes. PARKING *** Limited parking in the back, can fill up very quickly. Parking on the street is available but does not appear to be as safe. FOOD ***** You select your soup base, which will be brought out to you. You can choose from the selections of veggies, noodles and make your own sauces, which are unlimited, located up front. Drinks (soda and water) are self serve, located up front. The meats and desserts are available, which you can order with your server. Flavorful soup base, delicious meal. Fulfilling and enjoyable! KARAOKE ***** There are a few private rooms available for dining with karaoke. We were fortunate to have had the experience to enjoy dining while karaoke. Very memorable and fun! Perfect for regular dining or celebrations. What a hidden gem -- Let's Pot exceeded my expectations!
I've been wanting to try this place, but it's in the hood. Came on a Sunday early evening. We were greeted by who I believe is the owner. He was really nice and checked on us frequently. My wife and I pretty much only eat beef at hot pots and this place had pretty good quality. For the price it is worth coming out to the hood for. If it were in Elk Grove, it would be like 25% more. They did not have the fried foods on display, but you can order them. It is probably better that way since it was slow and you don't want it sitting out there. The place is really clean inside. I enjoyed the full sauce bar and the fresh vegetables. I would go here again.
I must've driven by this place many times, but finally got to try the hot pot. We had a large party, but David, Angie, and the staff did an excellent job getting us seated and taking our broth orders. I tried the spicy miso broth. Love the individual pots. I was impressed by the deep flavor of the broth. The assortment of meats and fresh veggies is extensive. I enjoyed the brisket, fish balls, Napa cabbage, and baby bok choy. It was perfect on a chilly night. Service was excellent. Our broths were refilled often. Despite it being a busy night, our server seemed to know exactly when we were ready for more meats. The deep fried bun drizzled with condensed milk was very good, not that sweet. The strawberry sago was also delightful. I'm already looking forward to trying the other 15 broths.
1st time here on Easter Sunday. Everyone was busy, so, this place was not busy, which was a win-win for us! With so many hot pot places popping up, I think this is now my favorite. Our server, and probably owner, Angie, was very hospitable; provided attentive and excellent services. Food selections were great and the price is very reasonable. They also have rooms for private parties and karaoke! Parking is in the back. Great place, I will definitely come back more often! The Mango tapioca dessert was my favorite. I hope they will keep it avaliable all the time.
Great service, the waiter check in on us frequently. They have over 15 soup based for you to select which is great. The meat is fresh and tender and lots of fresh vegetables. There's a sauce bar for you to make your own sauce is always a bonus. On top of many meat selections. There were meatballs, fish cakes, lobster rolls, and seafood bar for you to get your own. It's convenient so we don't constantly have to order them. There's two private rooms for private parties and karaoke in those room. It's clean and well maintained in the restaurant. Definitely will be back again.
Menu was in a sheet of paper, you will just tick whatever you want to order, once your done the server will get it without giving you another sheet (how can i remember all the menu listed). There would be $5 additional if you want to replace or change your broth (same broth refill is free). The restroom looks like a storage ( its a 2 in 1 ). Soda Vendo (drink all you can included).
A few things things this hot pot place has that many do not! 1) Egg noodles! I hope they keep this as it is my favorite noodles. They'll come around to keep filling your hot pot since these noodles tend to be heavier and stick to the bottom of the pot. 2) Fish sauce! This is the only hot pot place I know that has fish sauce as a condiment. 3) Self serve drink 4) Self serve appetizers - few options 5) Sauce bar 6) Private room for party and karaoke!!! There is also Quan Oc too down the street. The owners are so sweet and welcoming. The place isn't as big as the other major hot pot spot. A bit more intimate. I love their options for soup base. Would definitely be coming back.
The hostess/owner was really welcoming. She took our order and brought out our food. We had a rsvp for 6 for our bday dinners and it was set up on time when we arrived. I love punctual restaurants. They gave us cheesecakes for our birthdays which I thought was super sweet. There were so many options for the broth, which was awesome. I had the tom yum but my friends had the coconut pork and regular house one. Everyone liked their broth. I didn't need any dipping sauce or anything with mine as it was spicy enough for my preference. The meat was delicious and nicely cut. We got the all beef cuts and loved the short rib Wagyu the best. The pork belly and lamb was also pretty tasty. The restaurant became packed after we arrived on a normal Tuesday evening. The servers were attentive and brought us meats quickly. I like the self serve bar for vegetables and noodles. I would definitely come back again.
I love ayce so had to give this place a try. Came on an early weeknight so they were not busy. Once walked in, we were immediately greeted and seated. Told the staff it was our first time so they explained the process. They allowed 2 samples of soup broths per table. They do charge $5 if you want to change broth. We got Hong Kong style satay peanut and Vietnamese Pho for our broth. The pho broth didn't have the strong usual pho taste but it tasted pretty good overall. Appetizers, veggies, sides, sauces and drinks are all self serve. Meats and deep fried buns will be ordered through the servers. They were pretty good in refilling the food stations. Appetizers and sides all tasted really good. Those definitely filled me up lol. I did feel that they didn't have much veggies options. I liked the variety of noodles they offered. I enjoyed the egg noodles. It was good with my broth. Meats quality was good. Services were quick and attentive. They were all nice and friendly as well. The place is nice decorated, clean and bright. They offered 10% off the bill which was a plus. Overall, had a good experience here.
Great food and excellent service in a very calming atmosphere. This is the perfect spot if you want to enjoy a really good meal without loud music or a hectic environment. The space is quiet, comfortable, and relaxing, which makes the experience even better. Staff were attentive and friendly, and the food was fresh and flavorful. Definitely a place I'd come back to when I want a peaceful dining experience.
This is on my list of all time favorite Hot Pot places. I got the spicy miso last time and I got the spicy broth this time and it was the perfect combo of spice and flavor. The service was impressive as well, the staff checked in often without ever hovering, and they were super friendly and helpful, especially if you're new to hot pot. The restaurant was spotless, and had a great vibe.

Sacramento has no shortage of hot pot restaurants. This one stands out by offering wagyu options at a stellar price; $36 gets you all-you-can-eat (among other meats) for dinner. It's pristinely clean on the inside and servers checked in on us frequently. The wagyu tastes about what you'd expect from an AYCE format: acceptable and enjoyable. The A5 brisket outshines the beef slices, which is expected based on appearance alone given the brisket's marbled and fatty appearance. However, the less-tender beef slices come in handy if the goal is quantity over quality; the brisket is only served in several thin slices at a time. I tried the New Zealand lamb for variety's sake which also tasted great. Bonus points for serving onion pancakes as a side dish! It's a childhood delicacy for me, and I don't see this offered at most AYCE hot pot establishments. The soup bases could use some work. Not bad by any means, but both the pork bone and fire spicy soups would benefit from a stronger flavor profile. The fire spicy soup seemed particularly diluted which decreased the overall savoriness of the buffet ingredients. Pros: AYCE wagyu at an affordable price, typical range of buffet ingredients, very clean, attentive servers. Cons: smaller pot sizes, broth flavor could be stronger. Yes to returning. read more
Oh my goodness- this place is to die for!!! This was our second time in, and I know we'll definitely be back many times again. The ambiance is sooo warm and inviting- not to mention super clean. We went on a weeknight and had amazing, lightening fast service. They we so very attentive and friendly. Now the food- YUM!!! Everything was so incredibly delicious. We both got the pork bone broth and experimented with many different kinds of sauces. Overall, don't hesitate - come try it !!! read more

This place is outstanding! If you like hot pot this is your place. Or if you are new to hot pot this is also for you. Newly opened this gem is great. The food options are outstanding! The service is impeccable quick and friendly. If you are new or experienced at hot pot this is IT! The ambiance is so chic clean and very modern and a fun vibe. I took my kids here - 13 year olds and their friends for an early dinner and it was amazing. Eat here you will be happy! read more

This is a super new place that opened up in south sac and really deserves more attention. We came in around 3 or 4 PM and at this time it was super empty. However at 5 PM, people poured in. This place is more self serve, but they get you started on your hot pot and meats. It is individual hot pot but of course it's easy to share. Make sure you order the meats properly. We got so excited about the self serve noodles, meat balls, and other toppings that we filled up on those instead. You also have your own station to make your sauces and get drinks as well. If you have a large party, they also have private rooms for karaoke. It's a great place for a party or if you like hot pot. read more
We came here sunday for lunch and we were pleasantly surprised with our experience! We were seated quickly, and were surprised with how many things were included in the lunch menu. There was drinks, hot food, and a wide selection of fish balls, veggies, and seafood to add to your hot pot. There were also 16 different broths, and a small but good selection of meats. The price for lunch was 25.99 with a ten percent discount for their grand opening! They have a soda fountain, but we ran into some problems with it, some of the dispensers didn't fully work, but by the time we left they had it mostly sorted out. Now onto the food. We ordered several of the american wagyu beef and beef belly, which were of decent quality. We also had the kurobota pork, but felt like the beef both tasted better and were more worth. They seemed to be out of the appetizers when we showed up which was weird but they had some fries, chinese fried dough, and sesame balls so we were ok with it. I got the fiery hot and spicy soup base which had an ok kick, but I had to ask for more of their chili oil which they didn't make a fuss about. We also got the pork broth which was pretty standard, not too great but not bad either. Their sauce bar also had a good variety of things to add some flavor to the food and we really loved the fresh garlic, cilantro, and green onion. Overall everything was pretty decent and for the price point you can't really go wrong here. If they ironed out some of their problems, I can see this place sticking around for a long time. Maybe we will try out the dinner menu to see how good it can be. read more

I saw another hot pot joint pop up on Yelp and just had to try. Was a little skeptical because it's in such a bad location, but luckily there was a small parking lot in the back to park. It was surprisingly busy for a Wednesday evening. The interior was so fancy, I couldn't believe how cute it was inside, compared to the atmosphere of the junkies in the surrounding neighborhood. The staff were very attentive and explained the menu. I believe it was 35.99 for an adult and 18.99 for ages 3-10 during dinner. I really like the concept of individual hotpot. Broths were tasty! We got the spicy pot and pork bone broth. Both were tasty. We also got the Vietnamese pho and my daughter didn't enjoy it, so we had to grab her dinner on the way home. The only thing I had a gripe about, was it was so hard to grab some of the noodles! Also my bf is allergic to seafood, so the sharing of the tongs were a concern. Perhaps each individual side item should have their own serving tong so there isn't cross contamination. Soft drinks are self serve and included in your price, which I thought was really nice. read more

I was excited to try this place since it had good reviews and my cousin had went and said she enjoyed it. We came for lunch on a Sunday and made a reservation ahead of time since we were a large group. I asked if the Tom yum is spicy and they said no. I didn't really enjoy it and the others in our party who got it as well didn't seem to be fans either. I have a low spice tolerance and it was about a 3/5 for me whereas my sister with a high spice tolerance would say it's not spicy at all. I was beyond disappointed with the self serve buffet. They had no udon noodles. All the hot food appetizers were empty and hardly refilled. If it was refilled, it was gone instantly. The only hot food appetizer we were able to try was the gyoza/fried potsticker. Other reviews and pictures mentioned churros and French fries and none of that was available. The meats were fine but we kept asking for more and never got it or it was extremely delayed as it seemed they had issues with their meat slicer. Parking is not great. There is a very small parking lot behind the restaurant and some spots are reserved for the spa business. Some people in our party did street parking or parked in the business parking lot across the street. read more
One of the best hot pot restaurants in Sacramento, but has growing pains as a new establishment. The reason I say it is one of the best is the quality of meats are really good. Normally with AYCE hot pot establishments you are sacrificing quality for quantity. This place doesn't do this as the beef and pork tasted fresh. The Kimchi broth tasted great, and didn't had too much salt or spiciness to mask the flavors. I enjoyed it. You can also make your own dipping sauce as there was a little bar for you to mix toppings and sauces. Vegetables and the side dishes were also fresh and high quality. There is a little bar for unlimited noodles, vegetables, meatballs, and dumplings. Hotpot comes with a side order of fresh tofu and it was refreshing. Location is in a difficult to find area. Parking was ample when I arrived, but when I left, people had to park on the side streets. This is unfortunate as the location is in a semi-sketchy area. The biggest caveat was that this place is still learning. They had 1 server for around 10 tables. Which would normally be fine, but each table would need 2 or 3 rounds of protein served. You'll need to wait quite a bit to get service. Though, I wasn't in a rush because the restaurant is nicely decorated and new. So it was a comfortable dining experience. Server was very apologetic for the wait. I recommend the both desserts as they deep fry it fresh. It was a nice treat after the meal. I personally didn't mind all the caveats, but I know others might. So overall 4/5. Despite all this, this is probably my new regular hot pot restaurant. read more

What a great addition to the Sacramento area AYCE hot pot scene! TL;DR: Vast broth options make them unique! Our favorite is the Pork Bone Broth. Decent meats and we love their veggie, noodle, and toppings bar. They also have self serve hot foods, sauce and beverages. The beverages are included in the price which is an added bonus! LOCATION/PARKING: They are located in a small shopping center on the corner of Stockton Blvd. and Riza Ave. They have a small lot behind the restaurant that you can reach when you turn into the Riza Ave, but it's pretty limited and gets full easily. ATMOSPHERE: Super cute modern and girly (lots of white, pink and gold themes). Good amount of seating inside and a self serve food area with lots of options. SERVICE: The servers are friendly and very helpful. They were very attentive and made good recommendations! FOOD: They have the most broth options from the AYCE places I've been to so far, which is really nice! If you want to switch broths, they will charge you $5 but I haven't needed to do that as I really like their pork broths. Another thing I should note was the refill for the broths. They gave us all the same basic broth when we asked to refill ours, despite us all having very different soups. Maybe it's because they all share the same pork base or they figured what was left in our pots was enough to get the original flavor, with concentration, but it didn't really work for those of us that just drank most of the soup. Their A5 Wagyu Brisket and Chuck are dinner only. The beef aorta and homemade meatballs are also dinner only. For the lunch options, I probably liked the Wagyu with Egg the most, because it had the best flavor and was tender. I wasn't really super wowed with any of the other meats but the kurobota pork and NZ lamb shoulder weren't bad. Overall, I'd say the meats are decent just not the star of the show. DRINKS: The self service beverage bar is also a nice perk. They have different Coke brand drinks, which includes iced tea and lemonade. PRICE: Their prices are pretty close to similar AYCE spots. Lunch is $25.99 for Adults and $15.99 for Kids 3-10 years old. Dinner is $35.99 for Adults and $18.99 for Kids 3-10. read more

Let's jot about Let's Pot. Just in South Sac alone you have had 3 hot pot spots open up within the last year. Wild. With the ever growing list of hot pot places, it's hard to differentiate yourself from the rest. One way to do that is with price. However, at $39 Let's Pot is on the pricier side when it comes to AYCE hot pot, but it does include unlimited refill on drinks. But unlike their competitor Grand Hot Pot Lounge, these drinks take form as a fountain machine with pretty much just soda so no Wang Lao Ji here. What does set them apart is the broth options you can get. I opted for the pho base which I hadn't seen before and while calling it pho broth is a stretch, I appreciate the attempt! Expanding the broth bases beyond just spicy mala or bone broth should be a no-brainer move to attract new customers and I'm not sure why more places don't do this. They also have a generous selection of self-serve sides. Apart from meat, you can pretty much find half of most AYCE hot pot places entire menu in just their self-serve bar. In this current cutthroat uber competitive hot pot climate, it is all about how much stuff you can pack into dat self-serve bar. The interior is clean and has a relatively small amount of seating which can actually be a good thing since the last thing you need is 20 people in front of you trying to get their sauces. Overall, there's nothing super notable or groundbreaking about Let's Pot. Their meat quality is decent, having unlimited refills on soda is nice, but their specialty broths and decorated self-serve bar does set themselves apart from the some of the other hot pot places in the South Sac area. However, whether that is enough for them to stay competitive against the next new "it" hot pot spot place, time will tell. read more
Okay, first thing you would notice is the location is definitely not friendly. I would suggest you avoid going alone at night. Parking can be really hard around dinner time, so I would suggest to go earlier. The interior is pretty nice with pink/gold and white marble scheme. I know this is extra but the chopsticks are pretty high quality. It's not your typical wooden disposable chopsticks. You would agree with me . The place has 2 private rooms with Karaoke for reservation and about 10 tables. The self-serve fountain drink machine, topping bar, sauce bar, and hot snacks are a plus. They got variety of veggies, seafood, fishballs, noodles you can grab at your own convenience. My favorite thing about this place, aside from the chopsticks, is the broth. I have came here 4 times and have tried different broths. I have to say all of them are flavored perfectly. My favorite broth, however, is the Pork Bone Soup. You do not need to add anything else to it. They also have so many broth options, you would definitely find one you love. The meat is thinly sliced and well portioned. The onion pancake is very interesting. It's crispy and lightly seasoned. The handmade meatballs come out on a single spoon, and I thought that is really cute. My favorite meat is the Wagyu Beef Slices with Egg. The meat is tender and the egg added flavor. The only thing preventing me from giving them full rating is the lack of workers. I have been there a few times and all of those times, we have to wait to order more or find the waiter. They give you a paper menu to order, and kind of forget the next time to replace the menu. An electronic system would work much better for each table, so the process can be more efficient. The owner and staff are very friendly and I love that. But when things get busy, it is hard to cater with little amount of staff. Needless to say, it is still one of my favorite place for hotpot. I would definitely comeback and recommend the place to my friends. The food is worth it. read more
