Late lunch and wanted to try a new hot pot place. We chose Let's Pot. We pulled in the parking lot it's around the back, and the location isn't great but we decided to check it out anyhow. Good decision! There are signs to direct you to the entrance of the restaurant. We were seated immediately and the server was very attentive. We hadn't been before so she made several suggestions for the broth options. We chose the pork bone and satay peanut - both were excellent. The satay peanut is not thick or peanutty. The flavors were rich and balanced. We ordered a few meats and appetizers which came out quickly. There is a cold bar area for veggies, seafood, noodles, fishballs, etc. It's well stocked and fresh. There's also a sauce area with many choices. There looks to be a hot food area but that wasn't in operation when we were there. Drinks are included and self serve. Appetizers were good especially the stuffed tofu roll and popcorn chicken. Meat was thin, fresh and flavorful. We tried the american waygu, beef belly and ribeye. The shrimp paste meatball is delicious but a little large. We were going to go with 4 stars for the location but the food and service more than makes up for it. We'll for sure be back. read more

Of course, I had to get the Korean kimchi, which is spicy but not too spicy. My boyfriend got the coconut broth, and wow, it was so good--sweet but flavorful. The meat was very thin, which is delicious but sometimes sticks together. Even though there are many broths, you can't switch to try a different one. Sacramento has no shortage of hot pot restaurants. This one stands out by offering wagyu options at a stellar price; $36 gets you all-you-can-eat (among other meats) for dinner. It's pristinely clean on the inside and servers checked in on us frequently. The wagyu tastes about what you'd expect from an AYCE format: acceptable and enjoyable. The A5 brisket outshines the beef slices, which is expected based on appearance alone given the brisket's marbled and fatty appearance. However, the less-tender beef slices come in handy if the goal is quantity over quality; the brisket is only served in several thin slices at a time. I tried the New Zealand lamb for variety's sake which also tasted great. Bonus points for serving onion pancakes as a side dish! It's a childhood delicacy for me, and I don't see this offered at most AYCE hot pot establishments. The soup bases could use some work. Not bad by any means, but both the pork bone and fire spicy soups would benefit from a stronger flavor profile. The fire spicy soup seemed particularly diluted which decreased the overall savoriness of the buffet ingredients. Oh my goodness- this place is to die for!!! This was our second time in, and I know we'll definitely be back many times again. The ambiance is sooo warm and inviting- not to mention super clean. Have been meaning to try this place for a very long time, and let's say it was worth the visit! The decor of the restaurant was very pink, pretty and clean, with modern lighting, glossy tiles and interior, and overall has a great space for big groups as well as casual dining. They even have karaoke rooms as well. It was super busy, but the service was superb! We were checked in very quickly, and received our items (soup/apps/meats) within seconds of ordering. The staff were super kind and friendly, assisting with providing recommendations and giving us safety precautions as they want us to have an enjoyable meal. Super appreciative that they check in every so often to see how we're doing and if we'd like to order more. We ordered mostly brisket and ribeye, but the portions were good for the size group we had. It was delicious! I favored the ribeye more. The food bar area was super clean and looked spotless when I went to grab veggies and seafood. I am really impressed on the quality of the food and the customer service. AYCE wagyu for $35.99 is a must try. The quality of the wagyu for this price is definitely worth it. My mother does not speak English so it was really nice that our server was able to communicate with her in our native language. Each hot pot station has a vent so you don't smell like hot pot at the end of the meal and smoke won't be blowing in your face during the meal. The veggies and the meat quality was so good. I loved the beef belly and brisket. The broth was excellent too - I ordered the tom yum and will probably get that base everytime. I also like that their sauces didn't have a weird after taste. I've been to other restaurants where the sauce was not fresh and tasted like tap water. They have a buffet for sauces and veggies. Told the staff it was our first time so they explained the process. They allowed 2 samples of soup broths per table. They do charge $5 if you want to change broth. We got Hong Kong style satay peanut and Vietnamese Pho for our broth. The pho broth didn't have the strong usual pho taste but it tasted pretty good overall. Appetizers, veggies, sides, sauces and drinks are all self serve. Meats and deep fried buns will be ordered through the servers. They were pretty good in refilling the food stations. We came here sunday for lunch and we were pleasantly surprised with our experience! We were seated quickly, and were surprised with how many things were included in the lunch menu. There was drinks, hot food, and a wide selection of fish balls, veggies, and seafood to add to your hot pot. There were also 16 different broths, and a small but good selection of meats. The price for lunch was 25.99 with a ten percent discount for their grand opening! They have a soda fountain, but we ran into some problems with it, some of the dispensers didn't fully work, but by the time we left they had it mostly sorted out. Now onto the food. We ordered several of the american wagyu beef and beef belly, which were of decent quality. We also had the kurobota pork, but felt like the beef both tasted better and were more worth. They seemed to be out of the appetizers when we showed up which was weird but they had some fries, chinese fried dough, and sesame balls so we were ok with it. I got the fiery hot and spicy soup base which had an ok kick, but I had to ask for more of their chili oil which they didn't make a fuss about. We also got the pork broth which was pretty standard, not too great but not bad either. Their sauce bar also had a good variety of things to add some flavor to the food and we really loved the fresh garlic, cilantro, and green onion. Overall everything was pretty decent and for the price point you can't really go wrong here. If they ironed out some of their problems, I can see this place sticking around for a long time. We got so excited about the self serve noodles, meat balls, and other toppings that we filled up on those instead. You also have your own station to make your sauces and get drinks as well. I was excited to try this place since it had good reviews and my cousin had went and said she enjoyed it. We came for lunch on a Sunday and made a reservation ahead of time since we were a large group. I asked if the Tom yum is spicy and they said no. I didn't really enjoy it and the others in our party who got it as well didn't seem to be fans either. I have a low spice tolerance and it was about a 3/5 for me whereas my sister with a high spice tolerance would say it's not spicy at all. I was beyond disappointed with the self serve buffet. They had no udon noodles. All the hot food appetizers were empty and hardly refilled. If it was refilled, it was gone instantly. The only hot food appetizer we were able to try was the gyoza/fried potsticker. Other reviews and pictures mentioned churros and French fries and none of that was available. The meats were fine but we kept asking for more and never got it or it was extremely delayed as it seemed they had issues with their meat slicer. Parking is not great. There is a very small parking lot behind the restaurant and some spots are reserved for the spa business. One of the best hot pot restaurants in Sacramento, but has growing pains as a new establishment. The reason I say it is one of the best is the quality of meats are really good. Normally with AYCE hot pot establishments you are sacrificing quality for quantity. This place doesn't do this as the beef and pork tasted fresh. The Kimchi broth tasted great, and didn't had too much salt or spiciness to mask the flavors. I enjoyed it. You can also make your own dipping sauce as there was a little bar for you to mix toppings and sauces. Vegetables and the side dishes were also fresh and high quality. There is a little bar for unlimited noodles, vegetables, meatballs, and dumplings. Hotpot comes with a side order of fresh tofu and it was refreshing. Location is in a difficult to find area. Parking was ample when I arrived, but when I left, people had to park on the side streets. This is unfortunate as the location is in a semi-sketchy area. The biggest caveat was that this place is still learning. They had 1 server for around 10 tables. Which would normally be fine, but each table would need 2 or 3 rounds of protein served. You'll need to wait quite a bit to get service. Though, I wasn't in a rush because the restaurant is nicely decorated and new. So it was a comfortable dining experience. Server was very apologetic for the wait. I recommend the both desserts as they deep fry it fresh. It was a nice treat after the meal. What a great addition to the Sacramento area AYCE hot pot scene! TL;DR: Vast broth options make them unique! Our favorite is the Pork Bone Broth. Decent meats and we love their veggie, noodle, and toppings bar. They also have self serve hot foods, sauce and beverages. The beverages are included in the price which is an added bonus! LOCATION/PARKING: They are located in a small shopping center on the corner of Stockton Blvd. and Riza Ave. They have a small lot behind the restaurant that you can reach when you turn into the Riza Ave, but it's pretty limited and gets full easily. ATMOSPHERE: Super cute modern and girly (lots of white, pink and gold themes). Good amount of seating inside and a self serve food area with lots of options. SERVICE: The servers are friendly and very helpful. They were very attentive and made good recommendations! FOOD: They have the most broth options from the AYCE places I've been to so far, which is really nice! If you want to switch broths, they will charge you $5 but I haven't needed to do that as I really like their pork broths. Another thing I should note was the refill for the broths. They gave us all the same basic broth when we asked to refill ours, despite us all having very different soups. Maybe it's because they all share the same pork base or they figured what was left in our pots was enough to get the original flavor, with concentration, but it didn't really work for those of us that just drank most of the soup. Their A5 Wagyu Brisket and Chuck are dinner only. The beef aorta and homemade meatballs are also dinner only. For the lunch options, I probably liked the Wagyu with Egg the most, because it had the best flavor and was tender. I wasn't really super wowed with any of the other meats but the kurobota pork and NZ lamb shoulder weren't bad. Overall, I'd say the meats are decent just not the star of the show. DRINKS: The self service beverage bar is also a nice perk. They have different Coke brand drinks, which includes iced tea and lemonade. PRICE: Their prices are pretty close to similar AYCE spots. Let's jot about Let's Pot. Just in South Sac alone you have had 3 hot pot spots open up within the last year. Wild. With the ever growing list of hot pot places, it's hard to differentiate yourself from the rest. One way to do that is with price. However, at $39 Let's Pot is on the pricier side when it comes to AYCE hot pot, but it does include unlimited refill on drinks. But unlike their competitor Grand Hot Pot Lounge, these drinks take form as a fountain machine with pretty much just soda so no Wang Lao Ji here. What does set them apart is the broth options you can get. I opted for the pho base which I hadn't seen before and while calling it pho broth is a stretch, I appreciate the attempt! Expanding the broth bases beyond just spicy mala or bone broth should be a no-brainer move to attract new customers and I'm not sure why more places don't do this. Overall, there's nothing super notable or groundbreaking about Let's Pot. Their meat quality is decent, having unlimited refills on soda is nice, but their specialty broths and decorated self-serve bar does set themselves apart from the some of the other hot pot places in the South Sac area. Okay, first thing you would notice is the location is definitely not friendly. I would suggest you avoid going alone at night. Parking can be really hard around dinner time, so I would suggest to go earlier. The interior is pretty nice with pink/gold and white marble scheme. I know this is extra but the chopsticks are pretty high quality. It's not your typical wooden disposable chopsticks. You would agree with me . The place has 2 private rooms with Karaoke for reservation and about 10 tables. The self-serve fountain drink machine, topping bar, sauce bar, and hot snacks are a plus. They got variety of veggies, seafood, fishballs, noodles you can grab at your own convenience. My favorite thing about this place, aside from the chopsticks, is the broth. I have came here 4 times and have tried different broths. I have to say all of them are flavored perfectly. My favorite broth, however, is the Pork Bone Soup. You do not need to add anything else to it. They also have so many broth options, you would definitely find one you love. The meat is thinly sliced and well portioned. The onion pancake is very interesting. It's crispy and lightly seasoned. The handmade meatballs come out on a single spoon, and I thought that is really cute. My favorite meat is the Wagyu Beef Slices with Egg. The meat is tender and the egg added flavor. The only thing preventing me from giving them full rating is the lack of workers. I have been there a few times and all of those times, we have to wait to order more or find the waiter. They give you a paper menu to order, and kind of forget the next time to replace the menu. An electronic system would work much better for each table, so the process can be more efficient. The owner and staff are very friendly and I love that. But when things get busy, it is hard to cater with little amount of staff. Needless to say, it is still one of my favorite place for hotpot.
