There were still many open tables. This is a smaller restaurant with pretty chill vibes inside. Looked through the menu for about 10-15 minutes and then had our order taken. The food came out pretty quickly after ordering. We had our own pots with the burners underneath to keep the soup boiling. I had the kimchi dumpling soup and my friend ordered the beef hot soup. I didn't realize how much we could or couldn't customize so for our first time we just ordered the soups as they came. If we come back, I will definitely customize as there were parts I really liked and others that I didn't. And now I know. Hot Soups Menu #1-#7 are standard portion size, and #8-#12 are larger and meant to be for more than 1 person. Once you pick your Hot Soup flavor and spice level, you can add on veggies or meats that don't already come with. Rice or noodles, and additional sauces at the table (miso, garlic, chili). Refills on broth if needed. Mild level spice is generally too hot for me, and I lean towards rice over vermicelli noodles. I've tried the #1 Beef, #2 Lamb, #3 Cheesy Milk, #4 Curry, #7 Kimchi Dumpling, #8 Thai, and #10 Miso. I've also had their fried potstickers, nori fries, calamari, and tea. I sampled my sister's beef hot pot and it was very flavorful. I prefer the beef hot pot over the miso hot pot. We also ordered a side of small sausages, which was just okay. The fries were great as it consisted of some type of seasoning. They ran out of calamari so we settled for the egg rolls, which was just okay. The milk tea tasted somewhat watered down. You choose what flavor you want for your hotpot and they vary on ingredients. I've gone to lunch 2 times at this location. It is a good deal for the price. I can never finish all of it and have leftovers to take home. They pour you extra broth if you run low on soup. Food seems fresh and the flavors are good. I've ordered the Japanese miso soup and the curry one. I got mild for the spice level and it's a bit spicy. For lunch, you get green tea or black tea with your meal and you get to choose rice or noodles for the side. The service is good. read more

We've been coming here and enjoy their hot pot. Glad that we have a hot pot place near by especially for cold weather season. Service is good. They make sure to fill your pot with broth if you want more. Today we had eggrolls, lamb hot soup, and kimchi dumpling hot soup. Eggrolls was good. My sister's lamb soup was mild spicy, but she said there's still a kick to it. A hidden solid hot pot location right out of i-5 exit to Del Paso Blvd. If you like soups, snacks, and beer with a variety of cute soju flavors to pair with the dishes, or need a place for a meeting! They also have boba drinks and slushy. I ordered a curry style soup, a melon soju, and later for dessert, a thai ice tea boba (yum)! For the amount of food you're getting, the price was great, and I even had leftovers for the next day. All the toppings are always very fresh, and it's such a good option for a cold day. I also tried the calamari which I was very impressed by. They were perfectly priced and the spicy mayo was perfect. I just wish the portion was bigger! To finish off the night, I got a mango green tea, and it was a perfect end to the meal. The tea taste wasn't too strong, which is just how I like it, and it wasn't too sweet either. Of the 3 tasty pots in the Sacramento area, this one is a little quirky. 1. The vegetarian broth refill is just "hot water" as opposed to veg broth at other locations. 2. There is a charge for the dipping sauce if you want it to go/ left overs. Really strange to nickel dime on dipping sauces. 3. After trying Tasty Pot in Roseville last month, I wanted to try this Natomas location since I was craving something hot and soupy (in 90+ degree weather nonetheless lol). There was plenty of seating and I'd recommend bringing a light sweater if you get cold easily bc their a/c and ceiling fans were full blast. We got the Taiwanese Supreme and the Thai flavor. Both had great-tasting broth flavor and a generous portion of veggies and proteins. It was kind of unexpected to have a whole crab in the Thai one but it was our bad not reading the menu carefully, and luckily we could take our leftovers to go. One tip for not burning your tongue is don't eat directly out of the pot but put your noodles, meat, veggie, and a few scoops of broth into the little bowl and THEN enjoy. We also tried their wintermelon lemon iced tea (7/10), old plum lemon iced tea (3/10) and mango iced tea (7/10). I would give them 4 stars, however I was blown away by how kind and helpful their staff was s extra star added for that. Will def be back! read more

Plus, the AC is super super cool, which is perfect for the heat wave in California! The food is also done well.
