Stopped by for lunch about 12. Odd nobody was there, but we sat down anyways. I had the BBQ pork chow mein noodles were cooked well, but tasteless. Also tried the honey garlic spareribs, which were a little too sweet for me but still good. Overall, the food was decent but unimpressive.

We only ordered two slushiest but really liked them. We got a menu to check out so we can go back to order food

    Durian milk tea with boba
    Cindy M.

Decided to stop by since we were on the way to a local sushi restaurant and our order wasn't ready yet. This used to be iTea! The durian milk tea seemed really interesting so I ordered it, and my friend ordered the blueberry slush. The durian milk tea was underwhelming. It had the durian flavor, but something was off about it, like it wasn't fresh durian. The gasoline smell/flavor people often complain about was pretty strong, and this is coming from someone who absolutely loves durian. I would not order this again. The boba was also more on the chewy side and not sweetened much. I had a sip of the blueberry slush, and it was a very light blueberry yogurt sort of flavor, with like a very faint hint of tartness. It was pretty slush-y, and not creamy for obvious reasons. We didn't even change the sweetness levels on these drinks for there to be compromise in flavor, in case they actually did decrease the flavoring. I'd probably come back to try their 3-food item special, but I would not come back for the boba.

Maybe I just didn't get the right thing here... but for some reason the Tiger Milk wasn't quite what I wanted. To be fair I like my drinks REALLY sweet and this one seemed a bit watered down. It still was satisfying and fulfilling on such a hot day though! We did order in store and had to wait a bit - but you definitely could order online! They're still not open for indoor seating, so you walk in the door and order and wait outside for your drink. Overall, would come back and try something else though! There is also a small parking lot so no need to worry about finding parking!

If you're looking for a great spot to eat and sing karaoke at the same time you've found it! Servers very attentive and not too needy. Food: Half duck was delicious not too salty and spiced right very meaty most places you get more bones than meat. Chow mien: greasy and salty but the flavor where there. Drinks Overall not good we asked for 30 percent but got clawing sweet drinks. Wouldn't recommend the durian smoothie it taste very artificial. Drink:

A boba place, restaurant, and karaoke all located in one building!! A great late night option in Sacramento. I tried the orange chicken and coconut milk tea and both were good. The orange chicken has the perfect amount of crispy chicken covered in the tasty orange sauce. Workers are nice and helpful with any questions. The place has plenty of seating if you decide to dine in.

We just found this place pass by many time, but thought it was a Boba/karaoke place so we never stop by. One day decided to go ahead and go in and try it out was surprisingly it was a full restaurant and the food was surprisingly very good. Every dish we order was very tasty. I left there. Wonton noodle soup there, the place is very roomy and clean. The staff was very polite. We definitely come back.

Butterfly Mango & Brown Rice Milk Tea with Pudding

This is the same spot that was previously iTea, connected to the Star K-Tv Lounge. You can be seated and order off of a menu from there, or just go straight to the counter if you want drinks. The menu and the photos still looked like iTea so they must be transitioning still. I even ordered my usual iTea drink - brown rice milk tea. Drinks were just as good as the other iTea, at least they're a lot faster here. Unfortunately when we got our butterfly mango drink, it was spilling everywhere at the table and we realized it was because the cup was broken on the side! We spilled a lot out of the cup but all they did was pour the remainder in a new cup instead of making a new drink. Tables were kinda sticky. I also noticed the trash can was completely full when we got there, and it was even more full when we left. I'm talking cups falling off of the top because it was so full. It's right in front too so it's hard to miss. Definitely off putting. I wanted to try some food next time, although I'm not sure if it's the same food that's offered for Star KTV. But after this visit I'm pretty sure we'll be skipping this place and just visiting other boba shops.

Earl gray milk tea w extra boba

I wanted to check out this place, formerly iTea. Actually, Its exactly the same as before- but with a new name, branding and additional items on the menu. It's still attached to the restaurant/karaoke part. When this place was iTea, I initially was impressed: However in subsequent visits it went downhill in quality and service. I have been overcharged 2x and given wrong orders, walked out a few times because they failed to prepare boba, but I never got a chance to update my review, and I was hoping with the new "name" and products things might change? Unfortunately no. I walked in a few days after the name changed to check it out- but they had not prepared boba balls (which to me is the main reason you get a boba drink). The 2nd time, I came in during a busy lunch scene and they had everything. The prices are the same or higher and again the menu is almost the same as before. The girl at the counter was not in the best mood. I ordered my usual drink and it was more expensive than other places, but I had already committed to try it. I stood by the side and waited for my drink. I spied the girl making my drink and then dumping it out, but save the boba in some leftover liquid. She stopped and returned to help other customers. I waited about 10 minutes until she was done at the register while the other person behind the counter made other drinks. I did not say one word. I just waited. When my drink was ready she put it on the counter and walked away. I did not know it was for me or...? I asked and she was abrupt and scowled. What.ev.er. My name was not on the tea and there was a near identical drink right next to it. I had the Earl gray milk tea w extra boba. It was good, average good. The tea was too light, not much flavor and the boba was tasty (it almost always is) but they were just a bit too hard. Please do not misunderstand, even undercooked I was still going to eat my boba balls. Lol I'm sad because this place has not changed...even though the name has. It is easy to get to, w decent parking. In the end it's basically the same as before - poor customer service, with a sticky floor, that serves average drinks. What a bummer.

DONT SLEEP. $5 FOR 2 DRINKS. SO CHEAP.
    Elyse C.

A friend went today for the $5 for 2 drinks, which they still had a posted menu for. They get to the line, and teahub says they're not doing the 2 for $5 thing "right now." My friend asks if there's certain hours they're doing it. They don't give a clear answer, just say they're "not doing it right now." My friend asks if they don't do it on Fridays. Teahub, again, doesn't give a clear answer, says "not today." So my friend walked out. So basically they may or may not be doing the 2 for $5 depending on however they feel(???). You can take your chances. Also, they still have the 2/$5 menu listed there, and it doesn't have any limited hours for it so.... Bad business model. Why would they have a menu there if they don't honor it?? At least take it down! My friend wasted their gas driving out there just for boba, only to not get any.

    Phoebe T.

Their milk tea is decent, it tastes a lot sweeter than I prefer even though I usually get 30%. When we came in we were stared down like a hawk by the workers there. There was also a man in the back (I'm assuming the cook) that stood there just staring at us angrily looking. Another, is that this place doesn't look sanitary. Right next to the register there were dirty dishes just chillin there untouched. Overall I wouldn't go back to this place even though it's closer to home, I'd rather drive to i-Tea on Stockton where we feel more welcomed & cleaner

    Tiger Sugar Milk Tea
    Lauj G.

Must try boba place!! My first time here. My sister & I was picking up some to-go from Sushi Cafe. We thought, why not try this place? We ordered Tiger sugar milk tea(my drink) & Oolong milk tea. I love my drink, it was not super sweet, which is how I like it. When you enter the door, there is a table blocking so its just enough room for 1 customer to order. They have paper menu & menu on the table. I would go back(:

You can taste the umami from the roe and other ingredients that I am not entirely sure are but taste familiar. I enjoyed and loved it. Mapo Tofu - Firm Tofu and good sauce. Although I do enjoy more of a Sichuan-style spicy mapo tofu (with the very numbing taste), I still found this mapo tofu delicious as you can taste the flavor of the pork and sauce coating the tofu. 2 Entree BBQ Platter: Roast Duck and Empress chicken - I'm biased towards roast duck. I love roast duck so any roast duck is good to me. Not a lot of comment on the duck. However, the Empress Chicken is nicely seasoned with the whatever broth they cooked it in. One of the few Empress Chickens where I can enjoy it without the scallion-ginger oil, but the scallion-ginger oil still elevates this Chicken to a higher level. Congee with Pork and Preserved Egg - Comforting and triggers a lot of nostalgic feelings for me. I didn't have to add too much additional soy sauce or chili sauce because the congee has a great base flavor. Preserved egg and pork weren't too chunky, rice was not too "mushy", and the overall congee was in a good thickness to create a nice mouth feel for each bite. Will visit again to try the other dishes.

Drinks aren't rated, as they don't sell house cocktails (though they sell a small selection of beers and wines). All-in-all a solid menu. The dilemma is that we generally felt unwelcome. We came by on a Sunday evening at 6:30 pm (and paid and left by 8:20 pm which is 10 minutes before closing). We were a party of 8 with diverse backgrounds, and with exception to one server (a woman wearing red who was maybe a manager), the staff just weren't friendly toward us. I will say that one woman in red was so kind. She made sure to say "bye" as we left. I will add one of my friends mistakenly tried to take a pair of chopsticks (as they are set on the table in a paper slip). She didn't realize they were store owned/reusable vs throwaway. She quickly apologized, but that became the final straw of awkwardness with the staff. The food was genuinely great with appropriate prices, so I may give it another shot down the road as a date night option.

On my latest visit it was a very busy Sunday, but I was able to place an order for take-out and then wait in my car for the order to be ready. I saw a couple of other Elites dining in when I was ordering, but it was so busy I couldn't properly say hi, so "HI DAVID AND EVA!" I'll have to keep an eye out for their next review, because whatever they had looked delish! I waited in the car for a bit and then when the order still needed a few more minutes I popped into the dollar store next door to kill a bit more time. Before I knew it my order was ready to go. They packed everything really nicely and we served it up as soon as we got home. Their rice noodle rolls are so flavorful and I love the sweet, salty and savory sauce that comes with it. The noodles are really filling, and the dishes we got would be enough food for 2-4 people depending on how hungry you are. We ate the rice rolls right away and then had leftover green beans and beef and mushrooms for lunch today. The green beans were fresh and had a great garlic flavor, without it being too much. The Beef and Mushrooms was great, the beef was tender and flavorful and the mushrooms soaked up all the sauce. There were also green beans in this dish, which was a perfect addition. I really need to dine in soon for the full experience, but take-out has always been a win for me.

It didn't have that spicy tang that you look for when you order hot and sour soup. The potstickers were fried crispy, but the dough was a little too thick. The spicy cucumbers had no flavor to them at all. And the honey walnut shrimp was not memorable. We both felt that the two best dishes were the BBQ pork fried rice and the Mongolian beef. The beef was tender and had good flavor. The prices were extremely fair and the portions were large, but all in all this was not my favorite Chinese restaurant in the area.

After looking at the regular menu, I noticed that a plain porridge costs about $5, and a similar pan-fried noodle dish is only around $14-15. Based on those menu prices, the $30 combo did not seem to offer good value and felt significantly overpriced. Adj: dependably and predictably ok Chinese food…read more We've been coming here for Chinese meals both sit down and take out from when they used to be Holiday Villa. That was decades ago. About 10 or so years ago, they changed ownership or rather they went through what seems like several changes and then they became Lucky Jade which is kind of a chain but not exactly. I recall at one time, the workers wear shirts that look kind of like uniforms with another store's name on the back with address and phone numbers, so apparently Lucky Jade is owned by people who also own a few other Chinese restaurants but not by the same exact name. In any case, Chinese food can be pretty formulaic, so it's not really that hard to have consistency as long as the cooks know how to make common standard dishes, the taste generally would not be too different. This is true for Lucky Jade. We had take out recently and got a chow fun, a chow mein, and a broccoli beef. The first was quite tasty, on the oily side but I've not found any place able to make it not too oily and still yummy so it's necessary for this dish. Then there's the chow mein, this one was not good. Kind of non descript and the oil tasted oil (reused). Not too greasy which is my biggest complaint of chow mein from elsewhere like New Lai Wah, but again, this did not taste fresh. Finally, the broccoli beef was overcooked. Broccoli was not quite mushy but almost, still a little bit of crunch but you can see they were turning yellow. And the beef was so chemically tenderized (hopefully only with baking soda and not worse) bc it was also almost mushy. Wasn't cheap either, but on par with other Chinese restaurants around here for take out. I think I'll just tell my in laws they can just order from Bel Air Hot Chinese food deli on Florin Rd which is in the same plaza and they'd pay less and the food would actually taste better with fresher oil (probably not reused) and better quality beef that doesn't need to be tenderized to a questionable quality. Overall, not too good.

We had some friends over and decided to grab some traditional and non traditional Chinese cuisine for lunch. Hence we opted to dine at Lucky Jade for their diverse menu, accommodations to dishes due to allergy constraints, and fast service. So what did we order: 1) chicken teriyaki with sauce on the side: the entree arrived covered with teriyaki sauce. What was troubling, the server was trying to have our diner accept the kitchens mistake of covering the chicken with sauce..even when our diner refused, the server tried again to convince our diner to accept this dish. finally, the head wait staff told the server to take the item back to the kitchen. However, when the dish returned, the chicken was no longer grilled but fried. I hope the kitchen didn't rinsed the chicken off of the teriyaki sauce and deep fried the same chicken instead of grilling a fresh piece of chicken. Plus, our diners bowl of rice was forgotten and we had to remind the wait staff. 2) broccoli chicken w/fried rice: it was your basic american chinese dish and our diner only orders chinese combo plates. So he had no complaints. 3) Green bean chicken in black bean sauce: very nice black bean flavor, tender moist chicken but half of the green beans were old and stringy. The prep cook needed better prepping in food preparation- please toss out old green beans before the cooks prepare an entree- what was sad, this dish is always exceptionally well prepared in the past. Not today. 4) fried smelt: very good. no complaints on this dish. 5) chicken and asparagus in garlic sauce: moist chicken but again the prepping of the asparagus was lacking. When our wait staff informed us that they had fresh asparagus- we jumped to her reco. Unfortunately, this dish was served with the woody bottom ends of the asparagus. Which is tough, stringy, and just inedible. Plus, our dishes arrived at different times- in some cases 5-10 minutes apart. Perhaps the Kitchen staff had communication and food prep issues today. Not sure, but i would not recommend dining here on a Sunday. Perhaps the "B or C" team of cooks and prep cooks were definitely working tonight. And the wait staff should have caught the mistake from the kitchen and never served that dish...let alone, trying to push a dish that was not properly prepared or requested by the diner. That is also unacceptable. sorry no pics. Would I return....not sure now.

Giant banquet hall!…read more Huge, traditional banquet-style restaurant known for Cantonese seafood and push-cart dim sum on weekends. The dining room is massive and feels like a giant wedding/event hall. The dim sum is authentic and delicious: har gow, siu mai, bao, rice noodle rolls, chicken feet, plus claypot dishes, gai-lan, house special fried rice, and Chinese string beans with chicken. Everything we tried had great flavor and wasn't overly oily. The complimentary dessert, though, was a miss: basically egg whites with sugar. Service is pretty basic and can be hectic. You sometimes have to wave someone down for tea refills or other requests, and staff weren't especially courteous. Free parking in the complex, but it can be tough to find a spot during meal times. Bathroom was decent for the area but could be cleaner. Great authentic food, but service and overall experience could be better.

Flagging down a waiter was hard to get ice waters for the table and it seemed like they were giving waters to everyone, but my table. We were 3/4 of the way done with our meal until we got water. The ladies pushing the carts were fine. They just told us that we needed to get a waiter for water. The food quality has gone downhill over the years, but we stopped by a lot because of the location convenience. I would have to say the best part of this restaurant is that they still push carts of food, which is something I know that a lot of places stopped implementing.
