    Rare steak meatballs
    Cathi S.

Save your money please! I offer rate steak and meat balls. When I got it. All of my rare steak was inside the soup cooking as they were handing it to me, so I had to give it back to them and ask them to put the meat on the side. And they just threw raw meat and cooked meat in the baggie. The broth is really sad. When I asked them to take the meat out, the lady At the register just seems like it was a burden. Got 1 meatball cut in 1/2. Won't coming back for sure. You should either

My coworker brought me to Kim's Vietnamese for the first time a little while ago and I was very impressed! It is walkable distance from my work, so very convenient if I'm craving some Vietnamese food. I ordered the BBQ Pork banh mi and enjoyed it very much! It was bigger than the average banh mi and the price wasn't bad at all! I thought the meat to veggie ratio was perfect as well. Service was very fast when I went in as they had some of the banh mis premade, so I was handed mine right after I paid. The restaurant is small, so I would keep that in mind, but very nice place!

The way I found out about Kim's is kinda funny because I got called in for jury duty and stumbled upon the restaurant during one of our lunch breaks. I noticed that there was a long line out the door during the lunch rush. Kim's ended up being a hidden gym as the Pork Banh Mi and Chicken Banh Mi sandwiches are incredible here. My favorite of the two is definitely the Pork Banh Mi. The bread is so fresh and delicious as well as all the fresh toppings and vegetables. I also recommend you get some Chicken Egg Rolls on the side. They are so good also!! Prior to finding Kim's, I thought the only good Banh Mi's were only in South Sac. The Banh Mi's here are definitely at the South Sac level. The only gotcha with Kim's is they close super early at 2:30 pm (M - F) and are not open on the weekends.

This restaurant is a must while in Sacramento! Lovely staff and delicious food

The food is delicious and everyone is friendly; definitely worth the stop for the Big Valley High School Color Guard while in Sacramento

Simple and straightforward menu. But all are delicious. Restrictions on bathroom use

I absolutely love the people here and the food is really good too! The broth is that pure delicious broth you hope for . It's got that good MSG taste that I love ! The service is fast and the owners are friggin amaze balls!! Sometimes the lady in front can guess her regulars orders when they walk in. They honestly have the best egg rolls. It's a greasy fat ball of deliciousness. I love it . Make the visit !

Came here for a quick lunch break and this place did not disappoint. Their broth is 10/10. So light and a bit sweet but not too much. There was an ample amount of meat and I was full at the end. The service was quick and prompt and we found seating in the back. Highly recommend this place for pho. Will be back to try their sandwiches next

Don't judge a book by its cover! Food - The pho was comforting but was overall average! I'm just glad it did the job, got me full and satisfied my pho craving. It wasn't amazing, but it was good enough. Normally, I fan girl over a pho with mind-blowing broth. My friend ordered a bahn mi and she said it was delicious ! Service - SUPER fast. Ordered and 5 mins later they brought over the food. I don't think some of the workers understand English which is fine! But if you need something, just ask the employees at the front! You order before you get your food. Ambiance - It looks kind of sketchy at the front of the restaurant and the layout of the interior is small - but they have some seating at the back of the restaurant. Pretty dimly lit, but not unbearable. Overall - decent pho , friendly and fast service, for a busy downtown lifestyle.

Beef Pho, comes with the works on the side!

3 Years later, and I'm finally back again. I had some work to do in the area, so I decided to have lunch here. It was raining pretty badly, so pho sounded like the best option. The only thing that has changed since the last time I was here are the prices, but that is unavoidable, due to the direction this economy is going. The quality has not changed, still absolutely amazing and heart-warming with every sip of broth. The Banh Mi has a good amount of fillings for the price, and the bread is nice and fluffy, but also has a great crispiness. The service is very quick and attentive - I ordered my food, and it was all out within 5 minutes! There are only four or five people total working the store (front and back of house), but the attentiveness and consideration for the guests is great! Like last time, the surrounding area is pretty sketchy, but you cannot fall to the restaurant for that. This place is a great pic for any business people in the area wanting some good noodle soup or just a quick sandwich on the go.

I'm glad I found this place! The owners/workers are very friendly and helpful. I usually order a sandwich togo and it's very big and delicious! Will be back for sure!

There are self-served condiments table on the right side of the pick up window. You can load as much condiments as you like. They have pickled mustard greens, pickled long beans, bamboo shoots, roasted soy bean, roasted peanuts, scallions, cilantro, and hot sauces. - A1 Guilin Rice Noodle: the noodle was very soft (but a bit too soft for me). The meat pieces were tender and good. The crackling pork pieces were super crispy and gave a nice texture to the dish. - A10 Braised Pork Dry Tossed Noodle: the curly noodle was firmer type than A1 and had a bit of chew (which was similar to instant noodle) and I prefer this. The braised pork was flavorful and delicious! - B11 Preserved Duck Egg with Tofu: the tofu was soft and was a good combo with the preserved duck egg. The egg itself didn't have very strong taste so it was very pleasant. The spicy sauce was mild for me but the overall dish was good. - C1 Old Gui Lin Boba Milk Tea (less sugar): good and milky. The less sugar version was the perfect sweetness for us. The boba pieces were chewy and good.

The drunken noodle plate was so BIG, then compared to the yum woonsen and khao soo those were soo small. I wanna say their stir fried dishes r big portions and everything else is small ig.
