This is the fairly standard format for Japanese-American QSRs, where you tell them what you want, and they bring it to you. It's typically a few variations of a protein with teriyaki sauce served over rice and veg. My teriyaki bowl was... decent. I've had better, and I've had worse. It was a run of the mill borderline dry chicken slices served with rice.... although rather then truly teriyaki chicken, it is plain chicken with a portion controlled side of teriyaki sauce. It's pretty small, so we needed extra(s). We shared the potato kokorotto, which was fried well, but could use some more seasoning. The price for a bowl and a medium soda was basically $19. Not a great lunch bargain, and overpriced for what you get. I don't think it's deserving of a 2 star rating, but this is more a 3 minus with extreme prejudice. My favorite teriyaki place! I've been coming here for years and their food and customer service is always consistent! I love that they're in a shopping plaza with a bunch of other things: food, dessert, shopping, groceries, and a playground! I ordered on Toast Local app and the prices are the same as if I was to order in person. There are no extra fees for ordering on the app. The restaurant is a decent size with tables and chairs and can get busy during lunch time. I'm usually between chicken teriyaki, spicy chicken plate, or the lunch special depending on the day. This last time I order the spicy chicken plate and as always, perfect crispiness! The plates all have generous portions and I actually really enjoy their veggies and salad included in the plates. First of all I shouldn't giving them a star at all. The man works there is really rude. My mom asked for a cup for a water and start yelling at her for no reason. Like he was about to fight my mom. And my mom asked him nicely for a cup. Even my brother went there the other day and also rude to him. He can't be in a business with customer if he will have an attitude. So sorry for the lady that works with him always trying to apologize to us and they start fighting. This is a favorite place. Have ordered different plates in the past and they were all satisfying. Favorite is the spicy chicken which is their version of the chicken karaage (fried chicken). It's been about eight years since I last left a review for Teriyaki Time, and honestly the food is still just as good. It's healthy, not overly salty, easy to order, and they've got a good sized menu with plenty of options. Nothing complicated, just solid food you can count on. I usually get the chicken teriyaki bowl with less rice and extra veggies and it's always the best. The veggie tempura is perfect, and I especially love the mushroom tempura. But then I asked one of the family members of this place was bomb and they nodded like yeah you're not gonna regret it. And I didn't. I ordered the lunch special right before it ended. My husband got the beef, short rib, ribs, double meat and we ended up having so much food to take home. All for under the price point of what we would've paid at Bonchon. On any given day of the week, there are always tons of families eating in this area. Overall, it was a pleasant experience. The wait time for the food was a little longer than I would have liked. However, the teriyaki bowl is a good size with lots of rice. I'd say the size is smaller than a bowl at Chipotle (if you are familiar with their sizes) and also less expensive than them. You will most likely spend less than $20 for a meal for two people. The price for a bowl was right on the money. I thought the extra teriyaki sauce was a little too salty, but still edible.
