Just a banging double patty smash burger. This thing is a crispy, tasty, just the perfect amount of flat top character pile of fun on a bun. Got Mac salad and if I was writing about that you'd be concerned about the burger, skip it and get two burgers. Posted up in the sunshine and chill vibes of Boulder City this is a destination combo. Skip it and you are missing out.

Food They offer a few different types of smash burgers as well as hot dogs, grilled cheese, fries, and tots. I went with the O.G. Smash and added two patty's for four total. The burgers are awesomeo. They have nice crispy edges and pack loads of flavor. 5/5 Service Crispy Boi is essentially a food truck, so you just order at the window. It's pretty popular, so food can take a longer amount of time depending on orders. Staff are always friendly though. 5/5 Ambiance The ambiance is based on the ambiance of Beer Zombies, which has a nice outdoor area and little pond. There are multiple tables, which are regularly full. 5/5 Crispy Boi is a hidden gem of southern Nevada. The burgers are reasonably priced and pair well with the beers.

Not bad, not bad at all…read more.. By the end of my first night at Great American FoodieFest I was soooo full, and disappointed that I didn't see this food truck in the beginning. I was too full to order anything else, but when I walked by the truck it took a lot of me to not order the Gumbo. The sweet order, offered us samples of the soup from the gumbo and I was like, whoa! I went home dreaming about that damn Gumbo, so much that it's why I returned for again to get some! This isn't like your traditional Gumbo. It's doesn't have seafood pieces, just stripped juicy chicken and flavorful sausage, rice, onions all in a savory broth that isn't too salty. With the overcast weather we have today, this soup truly hit the spot. Be sure to follow them on WTF, "Where's The FoodTruck".

A local truck which is always great! The ladies at Kravin' Kajun were friendly and welcoming. They were proud to be local and their truck was sporting the "Vegas Strong" logo which was cool. My husband went with a Fried Catfish Po Boy, his weakness. The Po Boy was loaded with the fried catfish on a large roll, a good value for $14. Unfortunately, my husband thought one of his favorite foods was just okay. He said the bread wasn't special and the flavors were okay. Again, there wasn't anything wrong with it, but it wasn't something he'd order again. The Chicken & Sausage Gumbo was okay, but not as bold on flavor and seasoning as I expected from a gumbo. The gumbo did have a soupy consistency with plenty of large pieces of chicken and a celery flavor. I felt the same as my husband did about my dish. Good, but not something memorable. Overall, I love to support local business so if I see them around at another event I'd be willing to try some of their other menu options. The Boudin Ball Po Boy and Louisiana Purchase both sounded interesting.

This place has a legit small-town feel and serves some excellent barbecue. We ordered the Burger special, sliders (one pork and one brisket), and The Brisket sandwich. The sliders were huge for sliders and served on big toasted buns and piled high with coleslaw, onions, pickles, and pepperoncinis. Both meats were flavorful and tender. The brisket sandwich was outstanding: certified Angus beef cooked low and slow, seasoned with their Texas-style rub, sliced thick, and stacked high on grilled Texas toast. Very satisfying. For drinks, we had a couple Hazy Fox IPAs and two Huckleberry Lemonades that were on special for $5, which were a fun and refreshing choice. The sides were just as impressive. My family ordered the 50/50 bowl with half mac & cheese and half cowboy beans which was outstanding. The cowboy beans were especially packed with flavor. We also tried the fried okra and potato salad. The okra was amazing; crispy and delicious. The potato salad was just okay for me and a little bland, but I'm from the north, so I know everyone makes potato salad differently depending on the region. Overall, Fox Smokehouse BBQ was a great stop with delicious food, generous portions, and a welcoming hometown vibe. Definitely worth visiting if you're near Boulder City.
