The burger is good enough, but honestly, nothing about it really stands out. It's just okay. There are quite a few other burger spots I'd choose before coming here, so Tommy's isn't somewhere I'd go out of my way to visit. That said, it's a convenient option when you happen to be nearby and hungry. It's also rarely busy, so you can usually get in, order, eat, and get out pretty quickly. And sometimes that's exactly what you want. Overall, Tommy's isn't bad by any means--it's just not particularly memorable. For me, it's more of a "I'm already in the parking lot, might as well grab a burger" kind of place than a destination burger spot.

So being a California native coming over here I was hoping I was gonna get an original cheeseburger…read morewith some I ordered the homemade house dressing, preferably buttermilk ranch, and unfortunately it tasted sour. My fries also came out extremely hard and overcooked. On top of that, the customer service was not great. At this point, it just feels like an overpriced hamburger stand and takes away from the memories and quality that Tommy's used to stand for. This is the second time I've tried this location hoping for a better experience, and sadly it was disappointing again. In my opinion, this location seriously needs improvement..

Okay, Shay's Wave…read more Shay's Wave food truck came to my apartment complex today. They were running a really good special (that's what drew me in). And when I say they did not disappoint. Baby... they did not disappoint. The food was on point. I was trying them for the first time, so I figured I'd keep it simple. I got two different flavors of wings and fries. The wings were delicious and the fries were fresh, hand cut (with the skin still on them) and seasoned well. Even though I got this food on a special/discount, I would have gladly paid full price. If they ever come back to my development, I'm going to try everything on the menu. If I can offer a little unsolicited advice. Ladies, you really should hand out small paper menus or business cards with each order so we can remember you and have something to refer back to. There's a lot of competition out there. Make us remember your name. Five Stars Ladies.

Not bad, not bad at all…read more.. By the end of my first night at Great American FoodieFest I was soooo full, and disappointed that I didn't see this food truck in the beginning. I was too full to order anything else, but when I walked by the truck it took a lot of me to not order the Gumbo. The sweet order, offered us samples of the soup from the gumbo and I was like, whoa! I went home dreaming about that damn Gumbo, so much that it's why I returned for again to get some! This isn't like your traditional Gumbo. It's doesn't have seafood pieces, just stripped juicy chicken and flavorful sausage, rice, onions all in a savory broth that isn't too salty. With the overcast weather we have today, this soup truly hit the spot. Be sure to follow them on WTF, "Where's The FoodTruck".

A local truck which is always great! The ladies at Kravin' Kajun were friendly and welcoming. They were proud to be local and their truck was sporting the "Vegas Strong" logo which was cool. My husband went with a Fried Catfish Po Boy, his weakness. The Po Boy was loaded with the fried catfish on a large roll, a good value for $14. Unfortunately, my husband thought one of his favorite foods was just okay. He said the bread wasn't special and the flavors were okay. Again, there wasn't anything wrong with it, but it wasn't something he'd order again. The Chicken & Sausage Gumbo was okay, but not as bold on flavor and seasoning as I expected from a gumbo. The gumbo did have a soupy consistency with plenty of large pieces of chicken and a celery flavor. I felt the same as my husband did about my dish. Good, but not something memorable. Overall, I love to support local business so if I see them around at another event I'd be willing to try some of their other menu options. The Boudin Ball Po Boy and Louisiana Purchase both sounded interesting.

My interest is piqued and I head over. I see a table with 4-5 people sitting and talking and I take a look at the menu. I really didn't know what to expect as I have never heard of Indian fry bread. The menu is descriptive and it highlights a few things which helps picking items easier. I wasn't sure if I would actually order anything as I had plans to cook something at home but decided not to pass up a chance to try something new. I decided on a Half n Half which has half seasoned ground beef and half chopped chuck steak and is listed as a costumer favorite. It is a bit on the pricey side and they take Apple Pay/credit cards with a $1 extra charge. I ordered to go so when I got home I ate it with the knife and fork that was provided, not really realizing it should be eaten as a taco. It is a nice size which helps count for the price (but still on the pricey side). It was delicious and had good seasoning and I really liked the fry bread which was fluffy and light and something similar to roti but fluffy. I will seek out the Nevari Indian Fry Bread food truck again to try some more as well as trying one of the desserts.

I ordered a spicy polish dog and fries. I did add grilled onions to the dog so it was an additional dollar for that. The food was being made to order so I did wait about 10-15 minutes for my food to be ready but when I got it the dog was hot right off the grill. The polish sausage had a nice snap when I bit into it and the baguette they used literally melted in my mouth. I judge a dog not only by its taste but the quality of the bread, and this bread was perfect. It was really soft but held up the weight of this 1 pound sausage without ever falling apart as I ate it. The fries were crispy and what ever they were seasoned with took the taste to the next level. The polish dog was wasn't super spicy which I loved because I it didn't over power the taste. This is a food truck definitely worth visiting.
