Where to start? When you walk it, you're not blown away but it's bbq! Small quaint place. But the greeting I received made it hard to leave. I asked if the ribs were rubbed or baked. And when I found out rubbed...I went to leave. But good luck finding a place in Vegas that cooks the bbq on it (so it's baked in). But the woman I was speaking with was so amazingly friendly that she made it hard to leave. I shared that I was dealing with a very picky, ill child and gave her my thoughts on what she might like and what she was like lol. She narrowed it down to pork belly and burnt ends with "smoked" mac n cheese that I was hesitant about. She even gave me a complimentary drink while I waited and cookies...which they give AFTER you leave a review. Additionally, we added rib tips. When I got in the car to head home, I was so hungry from the smell I couldn't wait. I took a bite of the cornbread and it was delish! Just how I like it with a bit of sweetness. From there...it only got better! The pork belly...not too much fat. The tips...delish! All of it!! And omg the sauce!!!! Even the cookie, which I'm not a fan of chocolate chip, was baked just right. Not too crispy and a little gooey. Kudos to this place, and especially the woman who helped me who I think is the GM. (It's pretty obvious she's not just a cashier on how amazing she was). The ONLY mess up is that they forgot the fried okra.

Smoked brisket burnt ends, smoked mac & cheese, barbecue baked beans, cornbread

Ridiculously delicious. Got the two meat two side plate, which is more than I can eat, but I wanted to try a few different things . Not only was I not disappointed, but surprised to find moist smoked brisket cooked to perfection along with burnt ends that tasted equally as good. Couldn't finish my smoked mac & cheese or the barbecue baked beans, which are clearly favorites here especially after eating their cornbread to start with. You can tell they cook with love here. Looking forward to my next visit .

Me and my coworkers, went here for lunch. The staff was awesome. Very friendly and quick with food. One of my colleagues ordered some fries and some time went by where we noticed he didn't get them. The manager heard us talking about it and quickly asked the staff where his food was. They jumped on it and got them to him pretty quick. And with that, they gave it to him free because of their mistake. That was super kind!! That is awesome customer service! My colleagues loved all the food, and thank you for having vegetarian options!!

Overall this was a so so experience. The first thing I noticed was that the menu is not set up very well. As a first timer it wasn't super clear what was what and it was hard to navigate it to find something we wanted. I'd highly suggest reworking this. If I was rating it on the level of service that was provided, it would be a 5/5. The guy that helped us took his time in explaining their most popular items and even gave us some samples of the coleslaw to know if we wanted it or not. If I was solely rating this on the food, unfortunately it would be a 2/5. My whole party ended up getting their $10 brisket sandwiches. When I saw him cutting up the brisket behind the counter, my mouth watered. They gave a generous amount of meat and it looked delicious . However, upon digging in, the meat was quite tough which was not ideal for a sandwich. All three of us had to take all the meat out of the buns and just eat it by itself with a fork and knife. Unfortunately though, even then it wasn't a great experience because there also wasn't a whole lot of flavor either. However, they did have some fairly unique fries that were quite good. Maybe we just had some bad luck, or maybe their brisket isn't the greatest thing in the menu. I'd certainly be open and giving it another go and getting something else off the menu u.

I literally could not pry any more meat off these

Tried this place for the first time after craving barbeque and was intensely disappointed. I got 3 meat 2 side platter with mac and cheese and potato salad. For meats I was *supposed* to get ribs, quarter chicken and brisket but I supposed they just gave me what they wanted because instead of quarter chicken I got the driest thinly sliced turkey I've ever gazed upon. I knew the turkey was going to be dry so I specifically didn't order it, so that was really disappointing to receive it anyways. The ribs were a joke. Tough, un rendered fat, like it's almost as if they weren't cooked all the way or something. It's hard to describe how tasteless and justify how little meat I got off of them. I've had ribs ten times better at chilis or Applebees. The brisket wasn't good in so far as no flavor but at least it was edible. The texture wasn't overly offensive. It wasn't seasoned in any way though, or savory. The turkey was dry and unappealing. Just nothing left to say. No flavor and imagine the texture of napkins. Mac and cheese was okay. Creamy but not enough salt. Cheesy though. The potato salad was not good. Really unfortunate. It doesn't taste home made, but it might be. It just doesn't taste like it. There's not enough flavor. And worst of all I ordered this whole plate and no barbecue sauce of any kind was put with the meats. I might have been able to choke down the dry flavorless meats without complaint if there was some kind of sauce to dunk or drizzle over it but I guess not. I would not recommend this place to spend your hard earned money on. I was super disappointed to spend my money hoping to get some delicious bbq as I was craving it only to be met with bland tasteless half done food. It made me quite upde. With delivery I spent like $50 on this stuff. And it wasn't the drivers fault. The food came fast and was still HOT. It was just bad.

Completely new bbq joint with new owners, staff and menu ...so any photos, reviews before their grand opening date of September 29, 2023 including my original for Lickin Good, don't apply for this new spot. First impressions Bad To The Bone Bbq I had a good experience here as far service. Kudos to the young lady who got up in the middle of having her lunch break to take my order even though her coworker barked at her not to clock in. I didn't mind waiting since her coworker was busy preparing someone else's order, but she genuinely wanted to help ..so kudos to her. The interior still the same clean modern, casual feel, the furnishings kept the same too from last place. Still feels new! I kept my order simple, 1 Meat & side $14 ....good selection of choices for both. The sides choices impressed me more than the bbq though. I got pulled pork, it was good as far as texture but I thought smoky flavor was a bit strong ..over smoked? I don't know, I didn't inherit my dad's bbq skills..and I compare everyone to him. I really like my Chipotle Slaw though! But I'm not there for the sides! Glad I picked a slaw though to offset the strong smoky flavor of the pulled pork. The one thing I really didn't care for was the bbq sauce..I think it was labeled bbq sauce, but it tasted like ketchup and vinegar ...for reals!...I hated it ..sorry. And reason for the average star rating.

Food: Excellent smoked meats, like I don't really ever choose chicken but it came with the Beast Feast and the chef brought out the "Alabama White Sauce" so I had to try it and like my bf said between the sauce and the way the chicken was cooked (plus the housemade lemonade) was "an experience" The brisket was sooooo tender and the pulled pork was perfection. Chris is their chef and he was telling us how they cook the brisket and pulled pork for 14 hours. Like WOW, that's how they get all that yumminess?! The only improvement would be that I wish the cornbread came out warmed and I think they could season their cheese sauce in the Mac n cheese. They use cellentani noodles and it is a thick noodle so I think the sauce to pasta ratio is off, plus the sauce was slightly sweet and I like my Mac salty! Pro Tip: get the fried cauliflower it's savory with some acid, then it's battered and fried. My bf was so surprised when he tried it Ambiance: we were surprised by how empty it was on a Thursday evening. We had the entire place to ourselves with the exception of take out orders that were being picked up. Truly wish that we were closer because their food is really that good!

Bad to the Bone BBQ didn't make it easy to find them. BBQ places are popping up everywhere and they still have the old restaurant's sign. Still, determined, we found out it's right on Yelp and Google. It looks small from the outside, but entering you get the smell you want: smoked meats. My buddy said they finally got their menu down to where it needs to be after some work, so we tried a few things. Not pictured is the brisket because it came last and we were hungry. Standouts: 1. The chicken is is excellent. Brined before it's smoked, it's juicy and delicious. Skin is crispy and it's got great smokey flavor without being overpowering. 2. Burger is great. Two patties of the right size, cooked perfectly. The standard cheese and bacon. But the tomatoes are seasoned or stewed so they have an interesting almost sun-dried flavor. 3. Maniac fries are the right texture and consistency so they don't get soggy immediately. Plus, the meat and sauce on top is outstanding and full of flavor. Adequate 1. Potatoes were good. Flavorful and appropriate for a BBQ joint. 2. Brisket was good. Tender and smokey. It's good. But not standout alone. 3. Beer list. For me, more local stuff (especially being so close to Bad Beat, Crafthaus, and Astronomy) would be standout. But you can't knock them for it. Wishlist 1. House made BBQ sauce But definitely happy with the food and service.

Keep bankers hours for a restaurant in Vegas (i know you are in Henderson.) = not good Walk in the place is DARK. Need a flashlight = not invited to sit and eat. Been looking forward to trying this place for days due to them advertising BEEF ribs. Could not get off work in time yesterday. Got off work today and raced through errands to get in and grab a beef rib to be told they have not served them in a long time. They were also out of burnt ends and brisket, to the point she is trying to sell me chicken. Explained to her I work 65-75 hrs a week between two jobs and all wanted was beef rib. She proceeded to one up me by telling me she works 80hrs a week between taking over this location and firing the whole staff to prevent this place from closing doors in January while trying to get the "weird people" running their website to fix things and working at her bosses other off road driving/shooting business. Apple Maps has your page as FB page...... Should just let the place go shudder their doors Too much wrong in the 5 min I was there for me to bother giving this place another thought.

After reading a few yelps reviews I figured I give this place a shot. I've had a few bbq places in Las Vegas I wasn't a fan of so definitely a bit hesitant. I'm glad I gave them a chance. This place is bomb. Not too far from where I live so it's super convenient for me. I don't know if they're at the top of my BBQ list but this place definitely rocks! The menu is great, great options for sides, sandwiches and daily/Weekly specials. They smoke daily so the food quality is super delicious. Man, the corn bread is a bit on the sweeter side but freakin delicious. More like corn cake. Mac n cheese super cheesy and funky. Wasn't a huge fan of the baked beans but hey that's just my preference. Baby back ribs, pulled pork, and beef brisket all excellent choices. I recommend going earlier in the day as they do run out of items. Small dining area, perfect for a lunch stop. I can see they get a lot of take out orders. Clean kitchen, tables and floors. Restroom was clean, which is great. Shows the pride and dedication these people have. Very friendly staff, nice and polite. Had a small conversation with one of the guys there. Gave me a little run down on the joint. Glad to have them apart of my community. Definitely worth checking out and a great place for some smoked pork. Thank you for your services and great food!

This place has great tasting bbq! I also really enjoyed the baked beans

AMAZING food !!!! The bbq was juicy and that baked beans are to die for This place has great customer service and is well decorated. I will definitely be coming back

Review for Bad to the Bone BBQ - Henderson new management and a new menu, I figured it was the perfect time to check it out. As a Texas girl, I'm particular about my BBQ--good smoked meat and sweet tea are a must. I'm happy to say this place did not disappoint! The ribs were tender and flavorful, and the brisket cheese sandwich was absolutely delicious. You can taste the care in the smoke and seasoning, and everything had that perfect balance of savory, smoky, and just the right amount of sauce. If you love real BBQ, this spot is a must-try. Get here before the secret gets out! Must haves- corn bread and chopped bbq sandwich! The ribs were epic and the fried okra was perfection. The cookies are made homemade everyday!!!!! Will be back!!!! Service was great!!!

We were very excited to try a new BBQ spot, but ended up very disappointed & not even being able to eat there. They were out of most everything we asked for, both meats and sides. Then as we tried to get an order of burnt ends, the cashier said "we have those, but I don't know how to ring them up.", so he told us that we couldn't order them. I'm sure we'll try again another time, but this time around was a major let down.

Don't be put off by the looks of the location. The site is in a kind of rundown strip mall-ish center with plenty of parking. Inside you order at the counter and food is brought to your table. Even with a line, service is friendly and wait times are pretty minimal. Their menu has a little of everything from beef ribs, brisket and sausage links to okra, corn nuggets and slaw. Seating is first come first serve and they have e quite a large dining area with plenty of tables with bench seats. Next to the soda machine are an abundance of different sauces that will appeal to even the pickiest of bbq eaters. For lunch we chose the 3 meat trio. We chose sliced brisket (it comes chopped if you don't specify) 1/4 dark meat chicken and hot links. For the included side, we chose the dirty rice. We added an extra 1/4 dark meat chicken and a side of cheesy mac and cheese. Wife and I split the brisket and hot links and we will usually have leftovers as they are generous with their portions. All the barbecue has rich and Smokey flavor. The brisket was tender and had a hive visible smoke ring around the edge. The links have nice heat that is not overpowering. The dark meat chicken is also tender and juicy. When you peel the skin back the meat underneath is glistening. Both the rice and macaroni complimented our protein selections. If I have one knock, the sides were merely warm and not hot. I think this as due to the volume of people there for lunch today. For sauce I chose their original and sweet mama varieties. They are very tasty and full of southern bbq influence. All-in-all, this is a great BBQ spot and centrally located for visitors to the Strip.

I've had good BBQ here but nothing which warranted me to want to go back week after week. Also, now with with relatives in Texas, no other BBQ I've had here even comes close to comparing, until Bell's. I'm not saying it's on the same level but without having to travel to Texas, this is the probably the best BBQ you could hope to find in the valley. The portions are large, the flavors are in charge, and the prices really are not that bad. I got myself the pork belly meal with deviled eggs potato salad, BBQ beans, and a hot link added on. The pork belly and hot links were insanely good and while the sides where solid, they weren't anything to write home about. Here, it is all about the meat. I really can't wait to go back and try other options!

Having food that…read moresatisfies my cravings is important because if it's unsatisfactory it can ruin my appetite and make me nauseous. Today I had a strong craving for Gumbo and I decided to trust Lucille's. Let me just tell you, I couldn't stop smiling and talking about how happy that place was making me. The gumbo was flavorful and had actual meat (I included picture). My family is from Kentucky and Mississippi. The gumbo isn't Deep South gumbo but it definitely hits the spot. I also got a peach tea arnold palmer. DELICIOUS. I got it with the unsweet tea. My table also tried the devil'd eggs and brisket mac. Everything was yummy and made well. The food came out fast. From the start I was genuinely impressed by their menu. Lucille's location at the district has been around since I can remember and I'm born and raised. That also means they held it down through COVID. The atmosphere gave me a feeling that it was a beautiful day and made more prone to adventuring the rest of my day. Usually I'm hit with fatigue after I eat, especially at a restaurant. The retro style lay out was a great mid day setting and wasn't over stimulating for me. I have grown to be more sensitive if my environments since being pregnant. My waiter was alfanzo and added to the warmth and hospitality of the restaurant. You can tell he really cared. The experience I had there genuinely impressed me. So much so, I had to download this app and leave a review.

Plenty of parking in the shopping center, the signage is very prominent so there is no mistaking where you're going. Walking in the front door, you feel like you're home again. Lots of cool artwork on the walls, a very wood-based environment, has a country charm to it with a modern upscale feel. We went there for appetizers as we were on a time crunch, so we ordered the blueberry chicken sliders, the corn ribs, and the blueberry chicken wings. I had heard about these for the longest time, and everyone said they were amazing. Well I'm here to tell you that they 100% are! The corn ribs were wonderful with the cilantro dipping sauce. The only thing that would have made them better is if they would have put some Jalisco cheese on it and made it a little more like street corn. But hey who am I to complain about these corn ribs? I ate them all. The blueberry chicken sliders were absolutely off the charts! I had heard about these several times. People saying things like they are the absolute best to your taste. Buds will be stunned for days. Well, they weren't wrong, these sliders were absolutely wonderful. And we cannot forget the blueberry smoked chicken wings. These things were so well cooked and the seasoning was perfect and the blueberry softs on top took it to a whole other dimension. I would eat probably three or four more plates of these. I'm looking forward to going back there for dinner, as they had plenty of options on the menu. Such as brisket, ribs and so forth. Definitely going back for round two. Bottom line? You cannot go wrong with this place. Do yourself a favor, take some friends, and get all of the aforementioned appetizers. Your taste buds will. Thank you!

The skinny on this place is that Henderson actually has been getting some interesting food…read more Hog & Tradition launched last year in a repurposed SkinnyFATS space (also negating the Blaze of Thunder drive-thru cooncept), proudly proclaiming the arrival of Dominican-influenced BBQ. It appears that they've streamlined the concept a little, paring the sandwich menu from 9 down to 4 and the sides from 10 to just 6. Fortunately, there are still 5 proteins, and my friend and I tried all of them when we each ordered a Combo Plate 3 ($28.00), which comes with 3 meats and 2 sides. Smoked Brisket (+$2.00 for selecting this protein): seemingly cut from the flat end of the brisket, but with a healthy layer of fat on one side. Fell apart a little too easily, thus not meeting the technical requirements of brisket. Tasted pretty good overall aside from the smoke being mild, and went well with all the sauces and the chimichurri too. Pork Belly Chicharron: perhaps the actual intended recipient of the chimichurri. Crispy on the outside, melty on the inside. Goes well with any of the sauces. My 2nd favorite of the proteins. Pulled Pork: a serviceable, tender pulled pork. Just not that exciting. 3 St. Louis Ribs: perhaps actually my favorite since it was very tender and the most obviously smoked of any of the meats. Chicken Quarter: thigh and drum. Lots of Montreal steak seasoning, per my friend, which reminded me of lemon pepper. Juicy and tender. Not as inherently flavorful as my preferred pork proteins. Sides: pretty solid overall. Mac and cheese was solid, creamy coleslaw was refreshing but not strictly needed, collard greens were fine but not very intense, baked beans were sweet and tender. Ube Cornbread comes with the combo and is great. The ube flavor is prominent, and I enjoyed it both with and without butter. The pickles included in the combo were fine but not amazing. Sauces: they aren't amazing, but they do the job. The sweet mustard could have been developed more, and the hot BBQ wasn't that hot, but they all added enough flavor. The chimichurri in my combo didn't hit as intensely as I usually find it; maybe a different vinegar was subbed in? I got a cup for soda ($3.00) and tried to do an Arnold Palmer, but the unsweetened iced tea must have had peach flavor since the only other components were ice and lemonade. Not unwelcome, just different than I expected. The ceiling fans probably helped keep us cool enough, but they were also running a bit too strongly considering their thin paper towels. None of the TVs were tuned to the Stanley Cup Finals for some reason, just some old or offseason NFL coverage. Hog & Tradition is a fun spot that brings a few twists to a solid take on BBQ. It doesn't strike me as a Dominican-leading spot in its current form, and a lot of the smoke is subtle at best, but nothing which I tried today was unlikeable. This is a must-try for pork belly fans all over the valley or carnivores in general in Henderson.

The chicharrones were so soft yet crispy, and the cilantro sauce accompanying them was DELICIOUS! The rub on the brisket was so crispy and flavorful, probably the best rub I've ever had. Despite the crispiness, the forks were useless because the meat was so tender. The ribs were just as fall-off-the-bone. The BBQ sauces were good; hot not really being hot at all, but the meat was so good that it was no problem at all. Service was very kind and quick, the decor was well thought out and on theme (love the piggys!), and the space great for groups. I'd love to use the patio and get some beers on tap next time! 10/10
