We normally get Wills from a different location in Henderson but sometimes I don't pay attention and order from this location instead. It doesn't really matter because the food is good at both locations (this one is just slightly further than the other one is for us.) Wills makes me really nostalgic because this is what plate lunch tasted like when I was a kid, growing up in Hawaii. Don't get me wrong, the places with the new trends and flashy food are great but sometimes you just want good food and a memory and Wills will definitely give you that. I appreciate that they have sales a lot. I love when they do buy one, get one with musubi. If you're lucky they do this deal with the chicken musubi too (my husband doesn't eat pork.) The food may take a bit longer to come out but they make everything fresh. The serving sizes are large (even if you get a mini) for the price point and I love that. Came to Wills today to give their katsu curry a try. Huge bowl for 9.00 that's a win! The katsu was really good the curry was good too but a lil too spicy for me. I'm a lightweight in the spice dept. Upon walking in the restaurant looks clean. They have a decent amount of seating compared to some local Hawaiian restaurants. The cashier was nice. He did seem to be super busy but I understand how it can get sometimes. We had around a 15-20 min wait for food which I never complain about, one thing to learn is if you want fresh and great quality food from a Hawaiian restaurant you gotta be patient. Our food was super fresh and hot when we received it. The portions are so filling! I was only able to finish half of my food. The beef is super flavorful as well as their bbq chicken. It's really a Chinese take out spot with Hawaiian option that are definitely not authentic. Disappointing and not sure why they got all these great reviews for Hawaiian cuisine. This place is a hidden Hawaiian food gem. Located in Henderson, the place is small and quaint. The staff are friendly and warm. The food is everything you can think of that is Hawaiian. We live way on the other side of town and had never heard of this spot but so glad Yelp lead us here today. We were at a baseball tournament way out on this side of town, which is really far from us and needed to feed the boys on their lunch break between games. It was perfect. This is usually my go-to spot when ordering delivery, wether it's this location or the other one in Henderson and I would rave about it and usually give it 5 starts but after my delivery tonight I was very disappointed. Maybe because it was ordered close to close, but I believe the quality of food should be the same from open to close. 1. I did not receive utensils as requested. 2. I always get katsu curry in the combination plate and ANY time I order katsu curry to-go from anywhere the curry comes on the side so the chicken does not get soggy but this one was dumped on top. 3. In combination plate there was literally ONE strip of kalbi which is less than normal. For my go-to Hawaiian bbq spot, I was truly disappointed tonight. Found this spot on Yelp and decided to try. Price was reasonable for what you get, and i didn't think the food was overly salted. Out of the three proteins we ordered, we liked the Hawaiian chicken the most. Friendly service and the cashier asked many times if we wanted any sauces. One thing to note is that if you are sensitives to smells, I would not recommend eating there. I thought it smelled like strong cleaning solution, but my husband thought it smelled like shrimp/raw seafood. Not anything we wanted to smell while eating, so we ended up getting the food to-go. We did a pick up order for 2 BBQ Mix plates and 2 spam musubi. Both of the bbq mix plates came with a lot of meat and were very delicious! The spam musubi was just as good! My family and I came in on a Friday at around 4:30PM. The lady at the counter was extremely kind and food for four came out at a very reasonable time. My sister and I got the BBQ combo, my dad got the seafood combo, and my mom got the BBQ beef bowl. The BBQ bowl came with chicken, beef, and short ribs and rice with macaroni salad. All the meat was greatly seasoned and tender. I am also usually not a fan of macaroni salad, but the macaroni salad that came with this meal was creamy and absolutely delicious! It looks like most people go here for takeout, but our family came in for takeout and the inside of the restaurant was well-lit and clean.
