After the baseball game we located GK Mongolian BBQ. You choose your protein then your vegetables and noodles. Season all with a variety of sauces. Bowl includes soup, rice and wontons. Staff is readily available for any add ons or other items. Definitely a healthy alternative to any other cuisines. No rush & eat at your leisure provides the ultimate pleasure for any family gathering or after hours indulgence from home cooking. The playlist allows you to meditate between courses. I highly recommend GK Mongolian BBQ while visiting the Sacramento area.

Food: 4.5 mics Service: 5 mics Ambiance: 4 mics Food: Excellent choices of meat, veggies, and sauces. There are noodles available. Stuff your bowl as much as you can and fill up on the sauces. Noodles last. Service: Excellent customer service. Very friendly and helpful. Ambiance: Clean, very simple and minimal. I'll be back...stop in because the deal is to good to miss.

Not too bad. It's AYCE. Comes with rice, starchy soup, fried wonton skin, and potstickers. Drinks are separate. If you have a PEANUT or any allergy, for that matter, DO NOT come here. Everything is cooked together, on the same grill. Their sauce is a little different. There were three male and one female there. Two of the male and the female were working hard. One guy, (the bigger of the two cooks) pretty much ignored us standing there with a bowl of food ready to be cooked. Seating is your typical fast food dining area.

Honestly, for the price, this place is pretty decent. Can't beat AYCE Mongolian BBQ that includes soup, potsticker and crispy wontons (beverage not included). Service was great, we had a larger party and they happily combined some tables and had set the table with the included appetizers and utensils while we packed our bowls. It was pretty empty but inside was clean, no food on the floors like others had said. With that being said, I can see how during a busy time there would be spillage on the floor, but I'd take that with a grain of salt. We were not a fan of the bao buns tho. They took quite awhile to get and was quit gummy. Overall, for the price this will be a top option for us since we are a family of 5 and it can pretty pricy at other places.

I've been here twice now. The service is quick and friendly. For $19.99 you get a full meal, unlimited bowls, a side of rice and egg roll. It's a great deal. I do wish their bowls were slightly larger, it's very difficult to fit the veggies in there. I've been to other Mongolian BBQ restaurants and their bowls are definitely larger. The other reason I'm not quite sure I'll frequent this place is the flavors were a bit underwhelming from the sauces, placed by myself and the cook into the bowel. The noodles never took on that dark coating of the sauce. I'm not sure what that's about as I haven't really experienced this at other places. I want to like this place, I really enjoy the vibes and the staff.

My family and I really love coming here whenever we are in the mood for noodles. I love how this location has fresh items. The staff here are always really nice, willing to refill when necessary and check in on customers as they enjoy their meal. I've been known to get at least two bowls, and I love how it's freshly made to order and you can see how your food is cooked. There's a lot of seating inside. There's restrooms inside. There's also plenty of parking. I do recommend this Mongolian barbecue spot because it's delicious.

I was excited to have a Mongolian BBQ across the streetso we rushed over to check them out. AYCE dinner is a vey reasonable $16.25 which includes soup, rice, potsticker and crispy wonton skins. The meats included beef, pork, chicken and turkey. The food was pretty standard and the employees were friendly but the place needs better management. The line was dirty from dropped veggies and spilled sauce and really needs someone to monitor this. The cooks were not wearing hair nets or hats which is a bad experience waiting to happen. I really hope these small changes get done as I do d enjoy dining here.

Food was pretty good. Staff needs some work. They were friendly but unable to keep up with the customers. The guy refilling the veggies needs to learn how to package to-go orders so that it's not one person cashiering, taking to-go/door dash orders, packaging up all the things, trying to serve water, etc. Our food was done but we couldn't sit down and eat it because we couldn't pay. Then when we did sit, we couldn't eat it because there's no utensils. Finally got chopsticks from the chef but still had no drinks, napkins. Then another employee showed up and served water and egg rolls - the little sides that go with the Mongolian bbq. I will return though. The food was good and I think with time, they'll get organized and staff will have it down. I especially like that it stays open late. Sometimes work school sports practices don't allow for eating before 8/9 pm.

Rule of thumb when grabbing food for your Mongolian bowl: Pack it in! Haha the meat and veggies shrivel after they're cooked, so I always push the meat and veggies down in my bowl to maximize the space :) My friend and I had lunch here which was $15.50 after tax for a Mongolian bowl, egg drop soup, potsticker, and white rice. My one bowl of Mongolian food was very filling. It tasted great but it was a little oily. I still enjoyed it though. The soup and potsticker were okay. The server stayed on top of filling our waters without us asking, and the employees were friendly. The restaurant had open space and plenty of seating. I would definitely come back here for Mongolian food!

YEAAAAAAAHHH! Eff yeahhhhhhh! $16.25 AYC Mongolian BBQ? Sign me up. Only thing is no lamb which is why the lower price point. But it works for me and my fam. We dig it. Friendly staff. No frills Mong Barb. You get a tiny fried rice and rangoons but I skip those. I remember when I moved here in Sacamen in 2000, Mongol BBQ's were the new rage. How time flies. We had Great Wall on Howe Ave. (mean lady but a go-to- free scoldings to boot), then Silver Garden in Madison Ave area, Li's In Carmichael and a few outliers but not many. Get your frozen thin curls of meats, then noods, then veggies and trimmings, then another bowl to smush it all down was commonplace pro manuevers, then hand that bowl of gold over to the cook and it was so full he could not scrape it all into the same bowl after cooking. LMAO. Good times.

How much sauce do I put and which ones to resemble chow mein taste?

The best way to learn.....( I have been going to these places for YEARS and make mine usually the same...which is completely different than this way) is to ask the staff. They are so good at helping 'virgin customers' if you know what I mean. You…

Mats need a good rinse, buffet area needs cleaning, sauce containers had a watermark on the inside of them. The flat top/bbq needs more cleaning. All the sauces including the cherry sauce served with the wontons(stale)tasted watered down. Food options were satisfactory but few options for seasoning. My bowl was teriyaki but was adulterated by the take out order being shared on the skillet so it tasted like vinegar and chilli oil. I didn't taste any teriyaki just heat. My meat was also a lil overcooked as my bowl smelled burnt. I was sweating so much from the chilli I couldn't finish. The silver lining was they had an ice cream machine you could partake of a csoft serve cone after dinner. I'm sure many locals love this Mongolian bbq however for the same price there are other options.

Date of Visit: 07/27/2026…read more After visiting the Folsom area we happened upon this gem! I had not visited a Mongolian restaurant in a long time and took a chance having dinner with my family here and boy was it the right choice! Upon walking in, the decor is a bit older, but is is clean and neatly presented. The staff was very friendly and seated us right away. There was a good amount of people in the restaurant so the line to get your food was a bit long, but it moved swiftly and fast. The food bar was well organized, stuffed with various meats (chicken, pork, lamb, beef) and vegetables of all sorts. When handing your bowl to the check to cook, they put on a little show while you wait for your food which makes the wait not seem as long and at the end it is cooked to perfection. Our waitress kept our glasses full with ice cold beverages. Soft drinks are free for refills, however if you get lemonade, it is not. There is a soft service ice-cream bar for dessert after you've eaten. Makes for a nice touch although we decided to get dessert elsewhere. The tab for all 5 of us was about $128. I would definitely recommend this spot if you're looking for fresh food, with great customer service!

I haven't been here in a while and I was with my husband who last had Mongolian Grill about 10…read moreyears ago. He was excited I was a little hesitant because this is a very low key smaller Mongolian barbecue. We had a fabulous lunch the white staff make sure everything is kept tidy because it's such a small quarters that if you drop a little bit of food, it shows up quickly, but they are on it. They have most of the regular items and then extra items like two types of noodles, which I always appreciate it. Husband likes the fat ones so I like the thin ones. What really surprised me was that I have to get to the normal selection of proteins like pork, beef, chicken, and lamb and through the veggies selection area where they also have tofu and pineapple, and pass, they make your own sauce, they have CALAMARI and small SHRIMP on ice right before the cooking station! When you sit at the table, you get great service if you order sodas they're constantly refilled. The dinner service also comes with soup a bowl of steam right rice, some crunchy wonton strips and sweet-and-sour. I was also pleasantly surprised to find out that not only do they have Sriracha, but they also have traditional chili oil that you can order with your meal for flavoring. They still have their soft serve ice cream for afterwards with sprinkles and chocolate strawberry Hershey's syrup. Lunch is a few dollars cheaper than dinner. We went at 4 o'clock, so it was dinner our but dinner you can go and get as many refills as you want. The only caveat is if you do get a refill, you cannot take home leftovers. Which seems fair. Super low-key not fancy but a very, very decent Mongolian barbecue and I will be back!
