My friend and I dined here Sunday night as a party of two. Our server Madison was super kind and accommodating despite having us close to closing time. He took our orders as soon as we sat down and checked on us frequently, and brought out our drinks and food very quickly. The restaurant was open and not stuffy, had good vibes and music- the air vents come right to the grill, so there wasnt any smoke blowing in our face :) We decided on the premium menu and ordered a couple rounds of brisket, beef belly, pork jowl, and pork belly. The meats were good quality and perfectly cut! The grill was strong enough for us to quickly cook the meats. We've been here a couple times since my last review. Since then I've noticed a huge improvement with service staff. They've always been respectful but you can tell they're happy. At least that's my experience. Food was quick, fresh and delicious. The fire sauce is amazing and great to pair your meat with. John Mac is by far the best server we've had in some time. First visit in the afternoon for lunch , large dining area great for families and groups with a 2hr time limit and service was quick and our server kept on checking on us add more to our order and changing the grill cause it did need changes after each cooking specially the marinated meats. Daikon is our absolute favorite KBBQ spot! We drive all the way from Stockton just to eat here, and it's always worth the drive. I celebrated my birthday here with my mom and we had a great time. This is my second time to AYCE Korean bbq in Sacramento and so I had high expectations. Firstly, be aware that if you order white rice, prepare to get a very large bowl of rice. Like a pho sized bowl worth of rice. They probably do that to fill you up since there is a charge for food waste. The meats were tender and flavorful, but the service was very slow. They waited a while to ask what you'd like for the next rounds and so forth. Because of that, I filled up on banchan and appetizers. Again, maybe they do that on purpose. read more

I've been to this location twice for both the kbbq and seafood boil and both are really great options. For the seafood boil I definitely recommend getting the headless prawns and I love how they don't skimp on the seafood. Aaron was our server for this day and he was very friendly and attentive. For the kbbq, I really liked their galbi and rib fingers. Christian was our server and he introduced fire sauce to me which is also super good. The bar area is pretty big and nice of you ever want to grab drinks with friends. Highly recommend this place! read more

There's not a better spot in Northern California. When I calculated it out I hate about $180 worth of food between me and my wife. We have four orders of crispy calamari three orders of pork belly three orders of garlic shrimp and a much more. If you want to stretch your dollars getting the best food possible this is the place to come. I am not sure how I missed this gem for so long! I happened upon it while running errands. We decided to pop in for dinner on a Saturday night the weekend before Christmas. When you arrive you enter your cell number in to the kiosk and take a seat in the waiting area to be called. The decor is modern, the staff were friendly as we checked in and it was busy! You can choose from Supreme Ayce or Premium. You pick up to 2 appetizers, pick up to 3 Proteins and pick up to 3 Sides. Then you pick your dipping sauces and start cooking! We had shrimp, scallops, prime rib, brisket, bulgogi and rib eye. We had calamari, garlic noodles and salt and pepper wings. Everything was fresh, & very flavorful. It is a pretty cool experience to cook and enjoy the meal at your own pace as well as having all the options to select from. We chose the Supreme and were not disappointed. We did only about two rounds but you could do as much as you want within the 2 hour time frame. Everything we We had a couple old fashions and a Soju carafe of strawberry lemonade. Drinks were great!
