Our favorite buffet, in love with the seafood. Good sushi, good everything. Very satisfied every time. The servers were on top of taking our plates and refilling our drinks. Love how spacious this buffet is. You can bring a whole bus full of people and there will still be plenty of room for everyone.

If I was to believe all the bad reviews, I might have not even came here! A friend that lives locally suggested it to me. I'm here for work and wanted a nice quick buffet lunch. There's quite a few Chinese buffets in this area, but I choose this one cause it's right near SF Supermarket that I wanted to check out. I got here before 11:00am when they're supposed to open, but I saw people got here earlier and were eating already! You pay before eating here, different than most places where you pay afterwards. My friend got the "senior discount" for 62 and older, 10%, so his share was $18 and change instead of $21 for me. You pay and then seat yourself. A server will be right with you as you sit down and get you drinks if you want. Service was pretty good here and the English was better than most other places like this. The dining area was modern and clean. The food selection is huge, compared to most Chinese buffets I've been to. There's a Mongolian grill section, sushi section, with sashimi even! The wings were bigger than most buffets and tasty! Lot's of more "authentic" Chinese stuff here, like chicken feet! pig feet! and other organ meats. Big dessert section, but I was too full to even think about dessert. The price is well worth it, though I didn't see and roast duck like was mention in past years reviews.

Average chinese buffet. Don't have high expectations for customer service or the food. Came here Saturday lunch for $15.95 for a party of 11. They have large seatings in the back of the restaurant and plenty of other smaller seatings as well. Typical chinese food: some buns, green beans, salt and pepper shrimp, orange chicken, etc., even a mongolian style noodle area that's diy. Sushi is ok, so much rice for the nigiri lol. Did not get any fruits or desserts, besides their vanilla ice cream (there is also chocolate and a mix of the 2 as well). Mussels and salt and pepper shrimp were the only main things I ate. Don't forget to grab some lemon for the mussels! They are cooked btw. For the price, you can't really complain as it's such a deal especially in this economy! I'm from the bay and there is only 1 place I can think of that could compare to this buffet in South City - and that is $20 and I woud say that's worse lol.

It's a popular spot on Saturday but their buffet prices are the same as the weekday prices. It's only $15.95. They re-stock popular items like pizza and shrimp even late in the afternoon. There's a unique dish Meat & Cheese Roll which is minced beef in melted cheddar wrapped in a flaky Strudel crust. I liked the Hot Pepper Chicken and went back for seconds. The dessert selection is gelato, cookies, and frozen yogurt. Frozen Yogurt is a basic selection of Vanilla and Chocolate. The busgirl picked up our dirty dishes every few minutes. Our waiter came by and asked if we wanted free refills on soda. Like most Chinese Buffets, there's free refills on soda.

INCREDIBLY RUDE LADY WHO TOUCHED MY PLATE AND SLAMMED TONGS INFRONT OF ME AND GOT SAUCE ON MY WHITE SHIRT.

I come here often with my girlfriend. But the last outing here, it was extremely rude service from the woman who comes out of the kitchen to refill food. I was grabbing some oysters and the oyster shell was unreasonably big and there was only a couple left so I went to grab the meat only and leave the shell, that lady grabbed a pair of tongs and she put the empty shell aggressively on my plate. I put it back and then she got mad and slammed the tongs back onto the bar and stormed off. This is a restaurant and this is in the customer service industry, I never have seen a waitress be incredibly rude to a customer. Maybe she was having a bad day but her behavior was unacceptable. Attaching her picture to this review.

This place didn't disappoint. I haven't been back year for years and I don't go to these type of buffets too often. It was my mom's birthday and this was her choice. The options they had to offer to me took me by my surprise. It was a Monday night we came at 6:30 and everything was fresh and clean!! I hate a buffet that is messy and sloppy. The workers are constantly wiping the counters down and refilling up the food trays. I'm not sure if it was because we came at the right time, but for a Monday night I was worried they wouldn't have that many options out and especially not that many seafood. That's where I come to get my meals worth is the seafood. Lol. They had some American food such as wings fries pizza etc, salad bar along with cold seafood options, sushi bar with sashimis, dessert bar, fruits, and an ice cream machine. They also have a Mongolian noodle bar to build your own and have the cook toss it up fresh for you to your order right there. Place is kept neat and clean in the seating area as well. The workers get to the working and they work fast! They come around often to make sure you need a refill and to remove your plates. Places like this you may feel "rushed" by them especially when it comes to time for the bill. But they just want to assure you're paying your tab. So many ppl dine and ditch. They're just doing their job. We paid but was able to sit around and sing happy birthday to our mom. Just note bigger parties of 6 or more is automatic gratuity included. They allowed us to bring our own cake to celebrate my mom's birthday without a cake serving fee. They even bring you extra plates and plastic forks. So that was nice they allowed that. Great for family meals.

Pretty standard buffet food so don't come here expecting high quality food. They have a pretty wide variety of food options available. And during dinner the turnover is pretty high so they were constantly refilling trays of food. A lot of things were on the saltier side. Service is pretty slow and we definitely had plates build up on the table waiting for them to take it away. Decent place for the price and what you get.

I just called and asked. The lady on the phone answered and said next week. (Today is 5/7/21).

Whether it is sushi or common Chinese dishes or even Mongolian barbeque, this place has it and all hotly cooked. You can definitely tell none of the food was frozen and reheated, but cooked in the back woks. The turnover in food helps to keep things fresher even if the quality isn't the best. I particularly like the hot Chinese dishes, the pork chops, teriyaki chicken, grilled chicken, stir fry veggies, broccoli beef, and some of them dim sum items like the siu mai and baos are pretty good even if not gourmet. The Mongolian BBQ is fresh and hot, my kids like to make their own creations and I usually get a plate there too. The sushi is pretty basic stuff, but they get creative, there was a mango topped one that's new today and it was pretty good. Their usual ones are good too. I like that there's a vast array of meat dishes here especially. Seating can easily accommodate a large party and multiple servers are always available to help. They are quite quick to take away used plates and silverware, and they wipe down tables fast too. They are friendly and will refill your drinks quickly too. Not fancy at all, very casual, but still they have kept this place up except for the dingy carpet. Prices are reasonable and there's senior discount of 10% and only kids 11 and over are considered adults. All in all, not anything special here, but there's freshness and variety, and it's a place where everyone can get what they want so no one should have to complain.

We were able to make it before 4:00 pm, when lunch prices change to dinner. The food was okay. I can always count on the salad, fried chicken and rolls to be satisfied. You pretty much had to depend on sight because the labels did not coincide with the food. For example, the turnip greens were labeled fish, etc. The variety is helpful when don't quite know what you want, and great being able to try whatever you want, but I stuck to a drumstick, mashed potatoes and gravy, greens, a salad and a roll, after letting the steak go. I was pretty full after that and wanted to grab a cotton candy to go but they were out. When I asked if they were making more, they said 10 minutes. So glad they opened a Seapot in Sac so I can get my fix without going to the Bay Area now :) Came on a Saturday at 6pm for a party of 2 noting 30min wait on the Yelp waitlist but actually no one was waiting much in the front when we got in to checkin and we got seated right away (maybe people starting to add names to the waitlist for 7pm!). Opted for hotpot only which is imo my go-to here, but appreciate that the sauce/salad bar has some Chinese sides / Korean banchan to cut through the meat (e.g. seaweed salad, pickled radish, korean fishcake, pretty good cold marinated pigs ears). Fried sides at the bar such as the eggrolls we skipped after 1x bc they were quite soggy. I've been to basically all the norcal Seapot locations now, this one and San Mateo are probably my go-to based on the fact they both have the best soup selection. My partner likes the tomato broth and I like creamy milk (sweet, savory, w some corn), which is unfortunately not on the menu of the Daly City location. In terms of meats, we usually just keep a steady flow of beef (Angus, Wagyu, Ribeye, Brisket) coming and enjoy all of them. Our waiter was very attentive, worked a lot of tables and we never had to ask for more soda refills or meat orders. As we ate, the restaurant got more crowded for the 7pm weekend dinner rush so we watched waves of ppl starting to line up at the sauce/salad bar after initially being seated so we would wait for these to die down before walking up there. Meat took a little bit more time to come out when it got more busy after we ordered with our waiter, but was a steady flow as we ate. If you come with a 4+ people, it's most fun to sit close to the conveyor in the booth to have best access to the hotpot sides. Depending on where you are seated on the conveyor, you might need to wait for certain seafood or noodle sides longer than others. But luckily the meat comes separately to your table, which is the star of the show anyways. Overall love Seapot and it is a nice addition to Sac esp during the cold season!

So I'm planning my next trip here this week so I can enjoy the amazing cucumber salad (so fresh, crunchy and garlicky), their pepper beef clay pot (sizzling rice at the bottom for the win and big portions), their spicy tofu (umm what?!? So crispy) and their awesome skewers (the pork belly is my favorite). The space is small, so if you're planning on dining in during peak times, you may want a back up or take it to go as they only have a handful of tables inside and a few tables outside. There is parking but it is shared with other business so can get busy. The service is wonderful! The hostess/waitress was very friendly and everything came out relatively quick. The clay pot does take some time (they need to cook up the rice to get that awesome crunchy bottom) so place your order for that first, and then look at the appetizers and skewers as they come out fast. It was nice enough that I tried to come here on a weekend night and it was packed full of families which is great but probably where I should have thought about it more. We went up to the counter and were told to wait a few minutes. I saw that a large table was clearing up so I didn't mind waiting. During this time a group came up behind us and I thought they were after us. One of the server waved in our general direction after cleaning up and splitting the table, so I thought they were gesturing to us since it has already been 10 minutes of waiting. Wrong, it was to the group behind us. Maybe it was communicated in mandarin that they had a reservation, I'm not sure. I waited for the next empty table, which was also taken by yet another group that magically appeared behind us as if they knew they were in line. I decided to leave after this. My issue is that I looked and talked to the staff multiple times and at no point, did they indicate there was a waitlist, nor did they take my name, or anything about people in front of us. It was really frustrating because being told it would be a few minutes set the wrong expectation. This is not the only place to get skewers so if you're left confused where you are in line, just come another weekday, speak mandarin, or go somewhere else like I did
