The waffle I had was perfect. The service was great. This was a small but comfortable place to enjoy breakfast with the hubby.

Well happened to be in the area after doing some medical stuff and was starving. Well after a little Yelp Reviewing found this little gem. First it's off to the side in this strip mall area. To the left of Golds Gym and next to a Miracle Ear place. So it took a second to find it via Waze. But don't be discouraged. It's a cute little joint. You go to the counter and get menus and then choose your own seats. Once you know what you want, go to the counter to order. However, food was brought to our table. Well as for the meal. There were several items I kinda wanted but both the wifey and I decided on the 1/2 Country Waffle. This had a 1/2 waffle covered with a couple scrambled eggs and sausage gravy. It was very good. Both the wifey and I really liked it. The waffle had a wonderful flavor as so did the sausage gravy. The combination really worked together. We also had two sweet teas. Considering the total came to about $26, before tip, I think the portions were just about right. As for the service: I think the two young ladies working did very well. Treated us wonderfully and the meals came to the table quickly. So give this joint a try - I don't think you'll be disappointed. I'm sure we will be back next time in the area.

Met a girlfriend here for Saturday brunch about 2 weeks ago. The gps had a tough time pinpointing the location for us both but we found it nestled in the small strip to the left of Gold gym. We walked in grabbed some menus off the counter and were told to pick a spot to sit. So we did but when none of the young ladies behind the counter came over to take our order, we discovered you're to order at the counter. I got the chicken Philly waffle. My friend ordered the spicy chicken waffle. They arrived pretty quickly. My girlfriend enjoyed hers, said it was definitely on the spicy side bc of the sriracha and jalapeños. I enjoyed mine as well but did feel that the queso was very bland and I would have the dried onion topping removed if ordered again. Overall it was a nice chill spot to chat with a friend for a couple of hours. Would definitely want to try one of the sweeter options in the future.

5 starts for food. 5 stars for value. 1 star for service. We got there around 12:15 pm and the tables were all taken. We were added to a waitlist, but then had to ask if we could sit at a table that opened up (we were the only ones on the waitlist). We sat for a bit before realizing we needed to order at the counter. We weren't told that when we chatted with the counter. I went in to order and stood by for 10 minutes while I was ignored by the staff who made mimosas and stood around. The tall white dude who seemed to be owner/manager effusively welcomed a group that walked in and asked if they'd been there before and ignored me the whole time. I finally was able to place an order. The food was pretty good and 3 breakfast tacos, a full chicken waffle and two coffees ran us $25 which felt like good value. Still unsure of whether we will return because of the service, or if we need to try a different location

Really solid option for breakfast/lunch. It has a bit of a coffee shop/diner vibe. The staff were all very friendly and helpful; one guy was obviously new and still in training, but the lady training him was on top of things. I ordered the Country Breakfast Waffle, my wife ordered two of the $2 breakfast tacos and a pineapple mimosa. The portions were huge, especially for the prices. The taste was good, but not hugely flavorful. Best bang for your buck is definitely those tacos! Bottom line? The prices are great, the service was fast and friendly, and while it didn't "wow" me, the food was pretty good. I don't know that I would go out of my way to visit again, but if I was in the area, I would definitely consider it!

Really enjoyed this place! Great prices and the food was delicious. Staff were very friendly. I loved the casual laid back vibe. You order at the register but they bring the food out to you. We fell in love with the scrambled egg bowls. There's an option to build your own. I chose the arboretum bowl and added chorizo. So yummy! We tried a plain waffle and the batter was really good. It wasn't too sweet or cakey. Overall, we loved it and will be coming back.

Only street parking is available, but it wasn't too difficult to find a spot. The atmosphere: Very rustic vibe with some farmhouse-style decor. They have table, high-top, bar, and patio seating available. The food: I opted for the Chicken and Waffles with a side of cheese grits. I chose to make it hot for more spice. It's served with one whole waffle, two large pieces of fried chicken, and syrup on the side. The chicken was not seasoned as much as I hoped and wasn't as spicy as I expected, which was a bummer. The cheese grits were alright as well, but not as flavorful as I hoped. My partner ordered the Double Barrel Bowl, and he really enjoyed it. It was packed with pulled pork and was plentiful and filling. The service: Great and kind service from Mave (I believe that is her name but I'm not entirely sure). She informed us about the daily specials and was attentive throughout our visit.

It is fast casual - you order at the kiosk and grab a place to eat, listening for your number and/or text to alert you the food is ready. We arrived about 6pm on a Saturday night. It was busy and I grabbed one of the last two tables. It got very busy shortly after we placed our orders. The dining area is pretty big with plenty of bar seating around the windows. While we all ordered one after the other, our food didn't come out that way. Most of the food came out in about 25-30 minutes. The chicken was cooked perfectly. Juicy! Two people got tenders and three of us got sandwiches. The OG sandwich was very good, just messy! I ended up using a fork and knife bc it got too messy. The Mac and cheese was made with pimento cheese and was very good. My friend who got the fried green tomatoes said they were delicious and filling. Lots of goodies on top. Two friends enjoyed the collards. The only person who was underwhelmed was the person who got the Asian sandwich. Overall, if I wanted a good chicken sandwich and a Buttermilk and Honey was nearby, I'd place an order.

We walked in to find the staff bustling, cooking, and prepping orders, and the smell of some delicious fried chicken in the air. I saw the kiosks and was not too thrilled with the Wawa experience, but we gave it a shot anyway, since fried chicken is one of our favorites. The process was simple and allowed us to add or remove anything we could want, so that was nice. While walking to find a seat, we saw a person panhandling in the dining area, but the staff promptly removed him from the premises. I ordered us the Pimento Cheese Balls for an appetizer, and I chose the Fried Chicken and French Toast as my entree because I always try the "chicken and waffles" at every establishment that offers it. My partner ordered the OG Chicken Sandwich without tomato, and it came with crinkle-cut fries. It was about $40. The chef proclaimed our order was ready in quick succession, maybe three orders behind the guests before us. We waited about ten minutes, maybe fifteen at most. We picked up the orders from the counter, and there was a mix-up on the syrup, but the chef promptly rectified the situation. He was a no-nonsense kind of guy; straight to the point. He seemed firm, yet kind. It was clear the day had been a busy one; he even told us as much, which was great to hear (busy = fantastic food). The French toast squares looked like rye or pumpernickel, and they emitted a sweet aroma, a delightful hit of cinnamon and brown sugar. I drizzled the caramel syrup on my chicken and toast, sliced a piece, and paired a bite of chicken with the toast. I closed my eyes to savor the flavors: the toast was crunchy and almost gooey (yet, not overly so), the chicken was crunchy, the sweet cinnamon-y flavors from the toast, the caramel from the syrup, and the tender, moist chicken were a match made in culinary art. I cannot sufficiently describe the French toast in a way that would do it justice; it was crunchy and semi-gooey, and all scrumptious. I can only say it was the single best French toast that I have ever had the pleasure of experiencing. Next, I tried the fried pimento cheese balls. Oh my. If you like mozzarella sticks, try these. I adored them: elevated fried cheese, for real. My partner enjoyed her sandwich as well; she ate everything except some of her fries. I saved half of my chicken and toast for today because I am like a treasure golem when it comes to delicious leftovers. I am going to air-fry the chicken and skillet-heat the toast back to its original goodness. I told the cooks that that was the best French toast that I have ever had, and I mean it. Do yourself a favor and try it if you're into French toast. This one is the GOAT. Side note: I spoke with the head chef outside, and he is from another branch (possibly Henrico?) to whip this location back into shape. Two words: "Nailed it."
