The only reason I continue to try and work with these people is only for recalls, in other words when I am forced to, and because they are the closest to me. They never answer the phone, when they do they transfer you around and drop your call, they otherwise will take all your information and never call you to help. Not sure where the fault is, but I am blaming leadership and management. It is embarrassing that this is how they take care of their customers. After writing this review Ford reached out to me and ask me to contact them. I called and received a voice mail. I am still waiting on a call back. All in the same day Ford sent an email saying the car is ready for pick up. However, we were out of town so today 12/15/20 . We are picking the car up after work and returning the rental car. Well while I'm at work the car rental service called and said the dealership told them we picked up our car Friday and we must have just kept the rental car. First how do you not see my car at your facility or how are you unable to locate it in your system? Also, why would you tell a car rental center i must have kept the car? Why would I want to keep a rental when my 2018 Ford fusion works just fine (when the dealership will do things properly), and it saves me gas. Compared to this horrible Ford ranger. I know this car is company car and they have to go through why not lease it. However, this place is absolutely the worst. We arrive to pick up the car only to find out that the car is NOT done it's "In the air". Service department is horrible. I made an appointment 3 weeks prior to bringing it in for warranty service. When I brought my car in Justin the service writer said they would not look at it for 7 days. So I said no I have an appointment. He says your appointment is only to see me. Were not looking at your car for about 7 days. We are busy. I couldn't believe it. I can only guess they were trying to discourage me from dropping it off because it was warranty service. I don't know but totally unacceptable. So I didn't leave my car and now will try to get it fixed at another dealer further from my house or pay a local shop to repair it. My experience was horrible. I had a simple oil change and air filter service plus a few recall items to be addressed. My car was there for almost 2 full weeks! Communication was awful from the Service Dept, Gary Everett, the online chat and text chats... all communication was poor and so difficult. I called and left over a dozen messages on Gary's line plus an additional 10+ calls to the general service dept. number while my car was there trying to get updates. It's clear to me that all of the recall items were addressed on the day I picked up the vehicle so there was absolutely no reason my car needed to be there for almost 2 weeks. I've worked at car dealerships and know bad ones when I see them. I purchased a vehicle at this place in 2011 and it was a horrible experience where I got ripped off. They seem to have come under new management and my most recent experience was quite different. They worked with me and my credit to get me into something that would fit my growing family. I don't remember the name of the salesman but I'm really glad I ended up here at the suggestion of another friend. Whoever is doing the hiring, you're doing well. I called the service desk to request a ride so that I can take my car home. Kassi answered and had an attitude upon answering. I heard her do an annoyed deep sigh before asking for my address. I do t understand bc I had asked politely. I get that it's early in the morning but you are in a customer service role. When I get dropped off, I didn't know where to go to request to get my car so I stood by the next service desk and it ended up being Kassi. She NEVER greeted me or said hello. She actually looked at me annoyed. So I walked around until I found the cashier's desk. Someone really needs to train Kassi about providing customer service. You should always politely greet anyone that comes in. We are already tense about the repairs process as it is, but I would never exert an attitude to others. read more

i wanted to add to my original review some additional details. if i recall, Camelback Ford sent a list of recommended repairs and services totaling over $5,000 before noon. i declined. i'm sure i still got the email. i assumed that they did the multi-point inspection. i 100% believe that this led to the vindictiveness of the dealer because i declined the 5K in repairs and services. from the slow service, oily smudges on the car body, oil drip on the oil pan drain plug and the worst thing yet is when i did my own oil change after this visit, i found that the oil pan drain plug was installed with an impact driver. i thought for sure the drain plug was going to snap off. it took a lot of torque to break it free, they know what they did and i am sure it's happened to many others. integrity and honesty used to be a thing with dealerships. i have lost all trust in dealerships. my advice is to avoid them. read more

Purchased our Escape March 2020. It came with 6 clearcoats, once every 6 months. Called the service department to schedule our last clearcoat and was told that we would have to ensure the car was washed before they would apply the clearcoat. I pointed out that the last 5 times we were not required to wash the car before service. She said that she would check and when she came back she said, "I was told to tell you that you need to wash the car before you bring it in". They refused to refund my money for the work that was never done even though they knew full well that the work hadn't been done before it left their dealership. Be afraid. Be very, very afraid. Then take your vehicle elsewhere for service. I brought my old F150 in because it wouldn't go higher than second gear in Drive. After 7 days, Camelback Ford told me they needed to drop the transmission pan. After 5 more days, they said they found burned fluid and metal shavings in the pan and said I needed to replace the transmission for $7,000. I paid them over $700 for this brilliant diagnosis only to find .... When I took the truck to a bona fide transmission shop, they quickly found the only real problem was - it was stuck in 4WD low gear. Without any repair, they unstuck it and refused to charge me a single cent. I've put over 500 miles on the truck since; it's running as well as ever. When I asked Camelback Ford to take responsibility for failing to diagnose the actual, simple problem AND instead pushing me toward an unneeded transmission replacement, they effectively told me to pound sand. I am now pursuing the matter with the Attorney General's Arizona Fraud Squad. read more

Kate from sales text me about a raptor. They advertise a 20k markup. She explained that she could lower the markup "if i come in tomorrow." Long story short, her desk manager apparently wasn't happy that i found better deals elsewhere and said that I'd fallen for the other dealers tricks. When she finally sent me her dealers price quote, the markup had increased to 22k now. When I said they can keep their truck, she got rude and stated that i was "stroking" the dealership and that I wasted her time "all day", and that i wasn't worth her time. The texting was over 2 hours, and she was the one that reached out to me. So I don't see how I wasted her time when I was honest and completely transparent from the beginning. I still have the entire conversation on my phone. Definitely WOULD NOT recommend Camelback Ford. read more

Now they keep telling me the tech is looking at it and just hasn't updated the system with the notes. It's been two days of that. I call to get answers and no one ever calls back. I was told over the phone to bring back their car even though I had done my best to get everything they needed from my end. Multiple days and visits taking time off work and losing hours for their lack of response to the bank. In the end, we canceled the deal because Alex/ Finance unprofessinalism killed the deal. We asked for our car back at 10p at night and we were forced to remove and swap cars in the middle of the night, with my 4yr old asleep in my wife's arms and my 11 yr old needing to attend school the next day. No one offered to help no one offered to bring my family inside to get out of the heat. Just bad customer service all the way around and even less morality. Now my credit took all these hits from running thru the credit process and I am left with an even worse credit score than I started off with, I am behind on my original car payment because Camelback Ford took a while 45 days to ruin this deal and the other bank is looking for their payment when the car was traded in. No new car and I'm still out my deposit, as they said it would take 1-2wks, but if I've learned anything from this experience, it will be like pulling teeth trying to have my Al deposit returned to me. Slow service, slow response, I caught them trying to sale me services that were done last visit. It was blatant. Called them on it and they claimed they didn't notice the screen showed it as complete. Did an oil change and they didn't screw the cap on tightly. It leaked all over my garage. I bought my certified preowned 2020 expedition from them a year ago and ever since I bought it it's been one issue after another. The air vents have smelled like vinegar since two days after I brought it home I've tried having it professionally cleaned out and even using some spray to try and get the smell to go away per another Ford recommendation. We even found a dryer sheet shoved into a couple spots of different spots. Probably so that when you turned on the car, you didn't notice the smell. All of my chargers had to be replaced as none of them have worked and all of them about a week after I bought the vehicle started saying water damage, even though I was newly postpartum and hadn't really driven the vehicle. When we bought the car and went to pull out of the lot, it gave us a park failure error, and the receptionist that was giving us our keys said we might've just turned the knob too fast and it created an error but that's been going on nonstop and it's a $500 issue to fix, it's not covered under extended warranty either. My raido skips and my gears shift hard oh and my car when shifting to go faster stalls out. I had my car go from 70 and I was trying to go up to 75 fall to 20 in the center lane of the freeway. so they knew about all this and sold me the car anyways without fixing it. I would never go back and buy a car from Camelback Ford as it seems like they try to hide issues instead of fixing them so that way it's your problem after you buy the car. read more

In the market for Aviator black label AWD. Spoke with Mark a day prior providing product details, etc. Mark calls me the next day at 758am, asking if I was coming in. While on the phone, I asked if salesman will have all the information and is prepared. Mark said "Yes". I arrive, salesman Farod, I believe. Was not ready, he did not have the used Aviators out and ready . Basically lied to get me ther3 to try to upsell me a new vehicle. When I asked for keys to look inside while he went to check on the pre-owned vehicle, he didn't come back. He left me outside to dry and returned without the keys and stated that all of their pre-owned vehicles were in detail. Smdh This place is a sh$t show. If I was a man, they wouldn't have left me standing out there and treat me as though I'm naive and don't know what I want. I came prepared, they immediately ignored that. Worst Dealership and Service Center. Sold me a car, told me to come back for free tinting (salesman provided no documents stating a timeline or expiration). Dropped my car off and came back to pick it up. They didn't even tint, they did an oil change for some reason. I then tell them I didn't come for an oil change, I came for tinting. They then told me that they lost my paperwork for free tinting and the car salesman doesn't work at the dealership anymore and there is nothing they could do. So 5 hours later, my windows aren't tinted and I was ripped off for a tint job that was incorporated in the price of the car. DO NOT BUY A CAR HERE. Started out great. As I'm not local to AZ, I was dealing everything on the phone. Got some pictures of the vehicle as asked, saw there was more damage then noted. Asking price was listed online for $15,750...made them an offer ( lower then listed, as the body work alone would be more then $1,000 to fix and the radiator needed to be replaced.) when the salesman came back with a follow up. Not only did they not discount the price, but they actually raised it but $1,000! So now its selling for $16,570! What a load of crap. Dishonest to say the least, and salesman addressed everything was "fixed" accordingly. Not, true. At all. Seems like your below average " smoke and mirrors" salesman's and dealership here. After numerous emails, calls and visits, here we are 2 months later (Aug 29th) and General Manager Herb Jernukian confirmed our fear. They sold us a car that they don't have a title to and don't know if they can get it or even if they can get it. Herb offered to give us 100% money back. But I have put $500.00 into Escape for repairs and accessories. That he won't refund making returning the car difficult. All this is on video including Herb threatening to call the police on us I guess for calling him/Camelback out (in the show room) for selling a vehicle knowing they don't have all the proper paperwork. The staff at Camelback Ford need to be fired. They are completely unprofessional and take advantage of their customers every chance they get. There, are tons of reviews that explain how unprofessional and manipulative the staff here is. My boyfriend brought his car here and specifically told the staff that he wanted repairs that are covered by his warranty ONLY. After declining all services who went to pick up his car only to discover that the dealership did not obey his wishes. They expected him to pay and verbally harassed him in front of the entire store. The situation escalated. He was physically assaulted by an employee name to Roosevelt. My heart is absolutely broken. His shirt was ripped up and he had scratches on his arm and marks on his neck from the altercation . when I went to pick him up the employee involved didn't seem to be harmed. We will be pressing charges and I pray justice is served. My boyfriend just wanted to get his car fixed so that he can continue working hard, to pay bills. Instead, he was completely disrespected and physically assaulted by a Camelback Ford staff for simply taking his keys back. This entire establishment needs to be investigated for employee misconduct as there are plenty of reviews suggesting dishonorable behavior.I expected more from Ford, shame on them for employing such aggressive and confrontational people, everyone at this location should be fired ! read more

I would highly recommend Camelback Ford to anyone in the market for a new and reliable American-made truck. Angel from Sales, and Nick from Finance were an absolute pleasure to work with. If I ever I am in the market for a new Ford in the future, I know exactly who I'll be going to. Camelback was the only dealer in Central AZ or SoCal that had the exact Lariat I was in the market for (Lariat 502A trim, FX4 Sport, Max Tow, Black Out Package, CA Emissions system) in the color I wanted (Iconic Silver). The price was fair for the vehicle, I wouldn't say it was a "great deal" but I will say I had no reservations paying the price we agreed upon. Camelback Ford does make it a great customer experience. They really treat their customers well, and make sure you are taken care of. I know exactly who I'll be contacting whenever I'm the market in the future for a new Ford. Angel was very knowledgeable, kind, and bubbly. A great person to speak with if you arent into dealing with the notorious pressure tactics from car salesmen. She was a real pleasure to conversate and laugh with while you sift through the usual paperwork involved with buying a car. Nick was very professional, yet down to Earth. He did his job well, and expeditiously. Whenever you're in the process of purchasing a vehicle you can expect to spend multiple hours at the dealership. The last thing you want is someone to drag out the financial paperwork process, or try to weasle in unnecessary additional expenses. That didn't happen with Nick. I brought my vehicle in because I had a light go off that the engine coolant was over temperature. I brought in my vehicle and was told off the bat that it would be 3-5 business days to get a diagnostic. At no time was there any offer or even discussion about getting me into a rental or a temporary loaner vehicle. Then, they held my car for almost another week to fix. I was egregiously overcharged for the repairs which were not clearly itemized on the receipt. I called in to the woman I spoke to initially (who had made it clear that she knew nothing about cars and at best was trying to parrot information from the mechanics). She was able to give me some information like the hourly rate but still could not break down a very large charge. I also found it puzzling that the labor described had taken 4-5 hours when ordinarily said labor takes half the amount of time I was charged for. Also, in the past when I take my vehicle to a Ford dealer they run it through the carwash before I pick it up. Despite the fact that this dealer had ample time to do so they did not. Just a truly awful experience with the service department. I dropped my Mach E off to be serviced on Monday morning. My service person called me at the end of the day to tell me that the person who works on Mach E's didn't come into work that day but would be back tomorrow. Next day, no call. At 3pm I leave a message with the service department. No return call. At 4:20 I call again. This time the guy tells me "Andy went home because he was having problems" whatever that means. So I ask, what about my car? He tells me a service manager will call be back in a few minutes. Now 5pm faced with my second day without a car and no updates, I physically drive to the dealership with my wife's car. Andy apparently went home sick. And the guy at the desk looks up my car and says it hasn't been assigned to a technician. My jaw hit the floor. He said "we are 5-7 days backed up on diagnostics, didn't anyone tell you?"
