Went in today for a new truck Raptor problem. This dealer was not my first pick due to bad reviews but they were next door so I went in about 3PM so nobody would be on a lunch break. Pulled into the service bay and a lot of cars were sitting there in front with nobody in them..no staff in the line, but plenty on the side talking or sitting around for a few seconds about 50 yards away....they were all wearing brown shirts so I dont know what that means of where they worked....I waited for 20 minutes then left--I figured if they were that busy it was not worth the wait, but then again I didn't see anyone that busy. Perhaps they were all hiding inside to get away from the heat? I could have set myself on fire and nobody would have noticed. I visit various dealers every month or so and this was the worst setup I have seen... perhaps this was a bad day but still someone needs to pay attention....was not impressed. read more

Subpar customer service here. I dropped off my truck to be looked at and then repaired. They never once reached out to me and I had to call them or message them to get any update. I understand they didn't have a part and it was waiting to come off back order. But I don't understand why they didn't reach out about it. Even had to drop by to see what was going on to found out they didn't have the part. Totally unprofessional not to take 5 minutes and call your customer to update them on something. read more

The Service Department here is a total joke. I recently bought my second truck from this dealership, and like a reviewer said before me, once they get your money for the sale they don't seem to care whatsoever about customer service. My truck is having obvious electrical issues, with the entire entertainment system just going completely black. But once I stop and touch the gear shifter, the system comes back to life. This can be a real pain, especially when using navigation on a freeway, where it's obviously difficult to stop. So, when I tried to bring my truck in to take a look, they said they would have it for 4-5 days before even checking it out. And, they said they wouldn't offer a loaner until they diagnosed the problem. I said that 4-5 days without my vehicle and no loaner was ridiculous and I'd rather just schedule an appointment for a future date, to which they replied that if my vehicle left the property I was automatically dropped from the queue and they didn't even offer an appointment at a later date. I asked to speak with the service manager and he basically said they same thing, and kept saying how busy they were. I understand the concept of "busy" but insisting on keeping my truck for 4-5 days, without even looking at it, and without a loaner, is completely unacceptable. I then called another dealership and it was a totally different experience. They were also very busy (shocker) but instead of insisting I leave my vehicle with them for 4-5 days without a loaner, they offered to let me schedule a future appointment and said they would have the diagnosis back within 24 hours from the appointment date. They also have rentals available and said if the issue is covered by warranty, they would probably pay for the rental. Real customer service...imagine that! I urge you to heed these negative reviews before giving this dealership your business. There's a reason their Yelp score is so low...it's because once they have your money, you mean nothing to them. We were so stressed out while trying to find a used car in this crazy inflated market. I think we went to 7 dealerships leaving with a bad taste in our mouth. Camelback Ford was our last go and I'm so happy we didn't give up. Alex Grant was our sales rep. He was patient and not pushy. We got a great deal on a used car with very low interest rate. I called Monday at 4:30 pm to the number on the website, 833-288-7522 and spoke with a gentleman to set an appointment to get the check engine light looked at in my car. In making that appointment I stated that I would not be able to leave the car and would need a time they could look at it right away. We set the appointment for the next day at 7:00 am. Imagine my surprise when I checked in at 6:55 am and was told sharply by the service advisor Jacob Stokes that I would have to wait 5 minutes as they do not open until 7:00 and he had a meeting he had to attend. In the five minutes I was waiting he went and met with the coffee machine then came back to his cubicle. At 7:00 am he called me over and asked if I had an appointment with him because he didn't have one on his calendar and that I would have to leave the car as their technicians do not get in until 8:00 am. I thought that maybe I had imagined making an appointment and then I looked at my call log and indeed at 4:30 pm there it is right there! Factoring in the fact that their average yelp review rating is 2 stars, it's pretty evident there's a bigger issue here. It's understood that you're gonna spend money when your car is not working correctly. I as the consumer do not think it's too much to ask that you have service advisors that work hard to provide an amazing customer experience. It goes without saying I will NEVER use this location again and deter anyone I know from buy or servicing their car here!!!!! read more

This is my second review of camelback ford service department. I left my first review below and still fully believe it. My second experience was with service person Damien. If you come to camelback ford please seek this person. Damien found a way to fix my truck- I mean we bring it to be fixed so u need someone that is willing to figure it out. His mild manner and good communication is the type of person we all hope we get to work with/spend our money with. I can't emphasize enough how once person representing a large business can make or break their reputation luckily for this business Damien represents them and represents them extremely well. The first nightmare was a service experience with Jacob. Who should be avoided by anyone walking through the service door. His goal is make himself look good in front of his manger instead of helping the customer. read more

I just had a 5-star experience from the Service Team at Camelback Ford. This is the third highly-positive experience I've had under the leadership of Mark De Mendoza, executed by his highly-skilled team of mechanics. I had the unfortunate experience of a blown turbo, which Camelback Ford fixed under the Ford powertrain warranty, with no questions asked and zero issues. But this was more than just a positive break/fix experience. Mark called me daily to let me know the status of my repair. He was professional, detailed, and very timely with his communications. He also went above and beyond to locate a courtesy vehicle for me. Even with a blown turbo, I still love my RS, and wouldn't buy a Ford from anyone but Camelback. DO NOT SERVICE YOUR CAR AT THIS DEALERSHIP!!! EVER!!! 1) They try to sell you parts that are not needed. Tried to sell me engine mounts when my repair shop confirmed they where not needed. 2) They don't understand what is under warranty and I had to have my repair shop send me the federal guidelines regarding an 8 year federal mandated warranty regarding exhaust systems that my service mng didn't know about. 3) Took 6 days for a 2 day job. Ordered Computer took 2 days to get and then they bent pins on it and had to re-order it. Installed the new computer but then the key they needed to program it came in and it was miss marked so they had to re-order that. They ordered key, it came in but then they updated the computer with the wrong software another day went by until they fixed that All in six days, spoke with service manager about how could they mess up on so many different items and he basically looked at me and said oh well next time it might be better. I literally would be afraid to buy a car here because I would not want to use their service department. Don't do it unless you absolutely positively have to. On Friday, July 26, I took my truck into Camelback Ford for a simple oil change and tire rotation. I signed up online for both services and scheduled an appointment at 8 am. I showed up at the dealership and met with the service adviser (Jessi) who confirmed that I would be receiving and oil change and tire rotation as a "package price." When dropping it off I was quoted that my truck would be finished by 10:15 am (which I was please with as I had several afternoon appointments). At 10:15 my truck was not finished which resulted in me having to uber to my afternoon appointments. At approximately 2 pm the service advisor called and let me know my truck was finished. When I came to pick up my truck the cashier checked me out at the "package price" that was quoted to me and also confirmed that an oil change and tire rotation was completed. Once I got home I noticed that the tires were in the same location that I had left them and there was oil smeared on the hood of my truck (my truck is white). Because of the weekend and schedule conflicts I didn't have the opportunity to call nor did I want to. I wrote a review and had the below conversation with Jill "Customer Relations Manager" who bribed me to not take the corporate survey. I understand that I could have called to possibly resolve the issue however if the services that were agreed upon were rendered properly and my vehicle and I were treated with professionalism and respect we wouldn't be in this situation. This is not the first time I've had issues at Camelback Ford. For this reason I feel that others should be aware. Below is the conversation between Jill AND I Thanks again for the follow up. The website displayed that a tire rotation would be completed and when speaking with the service advisor (Jessi) he also confirmed it. I know it wasn't completed because one of the tires has a mark on it that the others do not and that tire is in the same location I brought it at. As stated in my original review, I didn't have time to stop and give you an opportunity to fix the problem as you had already kept the car 4 hours longer than what was quoted to me. Update to the review response provided by Josh S to my recent purchase of a "used" new vehicle. It was disclosed to me the day after I purchased the 'new' car that I actually bought a service loaner that had over 2k miles. Yes, I took a test drive and didn't notice the odometer reading (upgrade in vehicle by year and make things looks a lot different). Yes, I signed numerous documents at closing, with much discussion about the mileage of the odometer of the vehicle I traded in. When I signed the odometer form of the new vehicle, the finance manager was silent about 2006 miles and probably had his hand over the form I was signing as I was holding my daughter. I'm interested if in reviewing the film shows this was intentionally covered up by Alex Ochoa. Josh S was no part of the transaction and is replying with more lies snd misinformation. At no point prior to me purchasing the truck was it disclosed I was buying a service loaner, or that I was buying a truck with over 2k miles. It was only the next day when I called and realized the mileage did I talk to anybody whose solution was to give me 85% trade in credit. Again, I would have just picked another truck with close to 0 miles had I known, that is the point of this review. I truly was unaware of the mileage of the vehicle I was purchasing, and nobody at camelback informed me the mileage. After the fact they're solution is to place blame on the consumer and point fingers. Stay away! read more

I purchased a brand new Explorer Sport here in summer '16 from Rick Silverman. The Explorer has been a great vehicle and the buying process was cake, but the issue here is Rick. The Explorer was on the showroom floor but even the lights on the floor couldn't hide multiple light scratches, nicks, and hard water spots all over it. They thought their light detail would fix it, and it didn't. Rick agreed that his detailers didn't have the experience or skill to do a paint correction on a black vehicle. So he agreed to let me take it to a professional detailer for a paint correction and they would take care of the bill. So here we are 9 months later and Rick has completely ignored every email and message I have left concerning the $350 detail bill that he TOLD me to get and submit to him. As an owner of 4 Fords and over 13 the past 16 years, this is not how you treat a customer.....I will make sure NOT to recommend this dealership to anyone unless Rick owns up. read more

Since my recent vehicles have been within the Ford family, this has been my go-to location for service. Even after moving a little further away from this location, i've decided to still take my vehicle here when servicing is needed. Very convenient for them to provide complimentary Lyft service if you are leaving your vehicle with them for the day or however long it may take for servicing to be completed. The staff has always been as prompt as they can be while keeping up a standard of customer service. On one of my most recent trips, I decided to stay on site to wait for a small servicing task to be completed. It did take a bit longer than expected (not sure if they work on one vehicle at a time or if staff was short, but I do believe they tried to expedite the best they could. While it may not be as cheap as taking your vehicle to a non-dealership auto shop, I feel that I can trust the work will be done correctly here (especially since my vehicle is a bit older). So far so good with this location; I will continue to come back for my servicing needs. read more

Please do not publish any false statements regarding your treatment of me as a customer induced to sign a contract for services that were neither ordered, requested or recommended. When the service advisor is collecting a commission on selling nearly $800 of fluids see estimate attached and not detailed. Compare to attached list of 30,000 mile service maintenance per ford motor company. When a ford owner present to a Ford dealership with a 2017 car with 30,000 miles and asked for the 30,000 mile Ford maintenance package one would expect that that is what one would receive that is not what happened here thank you again to Sanderson Ford I so look forward to dealing with an honest car dealership. I have reported the incident to corporate. Also In that very same service visit I was called and told I needed a new tire as my left front tire was with nail and unrepairable. Yesterday I get a call from him about a *special* going on right then and there. Long story short, not only did he come in way under my budget (which I was adamant about) but he made sure to throw in a few extras *and* program the car to my iPhone before we left. I'm not sure if this is the *new norm*, but I have to say that that was *service* beyond what I expected! I came in to see these guys about getting my gear shift replaced. My service advisor, Alan, helped me out with a quote. I told him I'd follow up when I was ready to have the part replaced. A few weeks later, I emailed Alan and gave him the green light to order the part. When he hadn't responded two days later, I emailed again. After a week, I called. He sort of brushed me off, but said he would put in the order. Another week went by, no call from the dealership. So, I call to follow up. Alan says he needs a VIN to place the order, which he had not asked for during our previous conversation. He explained that he had ordered the part, but some paperwork was "thrown away." But not to worry, he thought the part was in stock. He asked me to email him my VIN. I explained I had emailed him before--unsuccessfully. He assured me he was on it. Another week has passed and not a peep from the dealership. I email for a status update--no answer. I call, they say they'll call back. Bottom line: I first reached out about having this part ordered on July 16. It is now August 7. To say I'm annoyed is an understatement. read more

My name is Ivan, I got a car in June of 2022, like they always do they make me sign all the paper work because they were closing, I should of known, after a few days I told Ricardo the sales person that the car was acting up, I took in so they can check it out and they never did, they told me the car was good, about 2 weeks later the car which is a wolskvagen 2016 cc, I was driving in the freeway and the car turn off in the middle of the freeway, I was very scare for a car to hit me, move to the side and after 10 minutes it turn on like nothing happened, I took it to the dealer nothing got done they told me everything was ok, after this time I took it 8 time and they said everything was k, last monday I was driving the car and out of no were it didn't want to turn on again, I had to paid from my packet to towed to the dealer, supposedly they fixed they told me it was the battery, I got a new battery drove away to my house at the moment I am driving for Lyft it my job, well yesterday I was gonna leave to work and same thing happened es it didn't turn on, I been calling the manager from sales and the services manager and no answer, there has been people like my self that we trust the people trying t to get a car not because I wanted because I needed a car, I am very frustrated because I have no car they want me to towed to them wen I have no money, and just te let all the people out there who is buying a car becarfull at this place they don't care about u they just want a sale and that's it they won't help u out with anything, I wish someone can help me out I don't k ow wat to do I really need help, with this situation read more

My mother in law bought an Aviator at Lincoln here that to put it short and sweet, was an absolute lemon. She went through an extended process getting it looked at, and fixed and nada. We had to go in to sign the buyback papers and whet I witnessed with the interaction with her and Herb J. was im professional. He had a high-horse complex off the bat and when asking accountant-based questions, he became agitated and told her verbatim "I'm telling you how it goes and you're looking at me like I'm stupid". When I inquired thru USAA's carbuying service, there was an additional $1,876 in fees to be added for dealer doc fees, paint, wheel locks, nitrogen tire fill, and door edge guards. Actually, I don't think the vehicle even came with wheel locks... I got to the dealer right before dark and before I could look at the car, I was asked some questions about what I was looking for, my goals, etc. Kind of a weird vibe (the used car sales was on the Camelback Lincoln side) and the managers seem to be really on everyone to make appointments. Funny thing was you had one sales guy sitting at their desk vaping! Anyway... Did a walk around my car and even told Junior of the chip on my windshield so they knew before pricing my car. Everything else in my car was in excellent condition, a 2017, and under 20k miles. The only reason I was trading was because I needed better mpg for my daily commute. Otherwise, I love my car and would not have traded it By the time I was able to see the car, it was getting darker out, and I did a quick walk around. I was told the car was recently traded and why it hadn't been cleaned yet inside, which I understood. Problem was, because it hadn't been inspected by them yet I wasn't allowed to test drive the car yet. But that didn't stop the deal because I was told they sell tons of cars without folks test driving them and they wouldn't have me take the car before they inspected it anyway. Btw, it was 2014 hybrid with over 70k miles on it. As far as negotiating, I felt a little pressured by the manager but I agreed when they reached a price I was comfortable with. When it came to finance, I almost cancelled the entire deal after being told no warranty came with the car and being told, "you know it doesn't come with any warranties right?".. obviously, it did come with the standard powertrain warranty so I'm glad I pushed back a little. However, the bumper to bumper warranty I ended up purchasing as well for 3 years for the platinum level. When asked about the lower levels to see pricing, I was told they don't even compare so wasn't given any details. Since it was late I had to come back the following day so the car could be cleaned and inspected. I came the following afternoon to pick up my car. When finalizing my paperwork with finance I was told USAA who I was pre-approved for wouldn't approve the deal the way they wrote it, so I ended up using one of their lenders who charged about 0.5% more interest. Again, frustrated.. but just signed away. When I finally got the car, it was confirmed it only came with one key fob. Since it had an empty gas tank, Junior was able to get a $15 gas card so I could get gas and do my first drive. Funny thing was a minute after we left the dealer he got a call from his manager yelling loudly "where are you?!" Obviously, they wanted to get him back in the sales pit to keep making appointments. At the gas station (and finally under some real light) I saw a crack in the windshield and later that night a chip in the windshield, too. When I brought it to Junior's attention he said he would tell his manager so they could fix it since it was a safety issue, but couldn't promise anything. So after the weekend, I got a text from Junior saying he tried talking to his managers about it but they wouldn't be able to do anything about the windshield because it wasn't written in the paperwork. I was beyond disappointed because there were so many instances this could have been avoided. Obviously had I made sure to thoroughly inspect the car with a flashlight, I would have known to write into the deal... And would have made sure to include the key fob while I was at it. Instead, I have a cracked/chipped windshield and only one key. When I gave my car, I gave full disclosure of my chipped windshield and included both sets of key fobs and a pretty costly trunk tray. I already saw my car listed on their sight for a nice profit on their end. The least they could have done is told me whatever was wrong with the car before purchasing. By the way their used car sales area was it was obvious they're all about making the sale. Final notes, be sure to thoroughly inspect your car if/before you purchase here so you can properly negotiate for any repairs or items that need to be accounted for. You will definitely be buying your car "AS-IS". Be sure to test drive the car and do your research on warranty info and whoever you're using as your lender. Luckily, the car I traded in for seems to be running okay. Just don't expect the dealership to give you full disclosure or details on anything you need to know. You'll have to ask the right questions if you want the right answers. Will most definitely not be coming back to this dealer for any future purchases because it felt like they were really all about the sale. Dad's car was dropped off for an oil change and tire rotation. They stated the Bronco Sport needed a new oil pan and bolt. The bolt was out of stock and would be there first thing Monday morning. Multiple messages and ignored calls and I finally had to step in can get an update. The bolt was there however they were waiting for "plastic razorblades". That is literally what we were told. Fortunately, they were not there so I didn't have to use them on myself based on how long it takes to get a bolt for an oil pan installed. Why would anyone take their vehicle to a place that this well known for being terrible...dad's don't really use the internet very well, and how could a Ford dealer be bad. Well a full day to install a bolt that is apparently received by the dealership...not withstanding the tech using the plastic razorblades on themselves as the cause for the delay...seems like we are no closer to a resolution than we were Friday at 8AM. read more

I have had the same fraudulent experience that Michele B. had in September this year!!! We visited this location today because they had a 2016 Ford F-250 Truck Crew Cab that we were interested in purchasing on their website. This vehicle was on THEIR WEBSITE for $64,930 MSRP. On the website after all their rebates, it says we are walking away with a truck at "After Rebates $55,146". We viewed the truck and while test driving my mother noticed the "Manager's Special" sign on the windshield. We thought "Great! This is our lucky day" Boy were we wrong! To our dismay, after driving the truck and sitting around for an hour and half, the salesman comes back and tells us not to be alarmed by the $84,000 price tag with $1,787 monthly payments! He explained to us that the price was actually $75,000 MSRP (manager's special???) plus the $8,000 lift job (that he "can't not charge us for"). We explained that the website says $55,000 after rebates so we are shocked at the price and that it was illegal to false advertise. He then went to get his Sales Floor Manager. They moved the two other women who were sitting in the cube next to us, purchasing their vehicle, to a "waiting room" (see photo below, probably because they didn't want them to hear us talking about the false advertising on their website). He looked around at all the cubes to make sure they're empty before he sat down. After the manager sits down and we explain the situation, he tells us he can show us other trucks that don't have the $8,000 lift. This was NOT the issue. The issue was the MSRP was $10,000 MORE than the Camelback Ford website BEFORE the $8,000 lift job is even added. After going back and forth about how it's illegal to false advertise, he asks us, "what can we do to make a deal". So ridiculous! You can start by listing the actual prices of the vehicles correctly on the website! They would have a 100% chance of a sale at the online price. Instead they lost another customer and earned a horrible review. We have no complaints with our "Vehicle Sales Consultant" Matt Melone, which we would absolutely recommend. He was not pushy AT ALL and very personable. read more
