Although the service was good, Sandra was very professional and extremely kind. I am writing about my experience when my car was returned. When I got it back, everything was fixed and nicely done. Issue is inside my car, things were shuffled around. Everything in my center console and glove compartment was taken out, tossed on the floor and back of my seat. I am not sure what happened between caliber and Honda when my car was being passed to one place and the other but someone went through my personal items and an item went missing. I called for a week to follow up. Manager at caliber was sincerely apologetic and he did his best but it's still not figured out. I have yet heard about anything today and my wheel lock was not replaced as promised. When the car was returned to me, I felt very violated. Sure, they were looking for the wheel lock but that went missing and why would all my personal items need to be shuffled & tossed around inside my car. Manager agreed it should not be that way and apologized for the mess. Car should be returned the way owner brought it in. My personal item is still missing and sentimental value that was inside this item has been taken from me. This item wouldn't mean anything to anyone but it's still missing. When winds were really bad, I opened my truck door and it was ripped out of my hand and swung open too hard, bending the hinges. I had a terrible wind noise anytime I drove over 40 mph. Also my door latch was misaligned, so I had to lift the door a little bit for it to close properly. I took it to caliber collision and spoke to Austin. He ensured me that they could take care of the problem without any issues. One of the hinges was on back order so it took some time to get the parts, but that was no fault of Caliber Collision. Austin kept me updated on perspective dates that the parts should arrive and assured me that they are OEM parts. That gave me confidence in knowing that they only wanted to use OEM parts to correct the issue. Austin kept me up to date throughout the repair process and he drove the vehicle himself to ensure that the wind noise was gone. I picked the vehicle up and was happy to see that the door is aligned perfectly and the wind noise is completely gone! Thanks again to Austin for being so diligent with the process. I just picked up my car today and it looks perfect. My accident was done at a Walmart while I was sitting inside my car. My car was parked and the driver that hit my car was trying to park and just scrapped my car. My car is old but i don't want anymore dents and scrapes especially if I didn't do it. I have a 2009 Nissan Altima Hybrid. Caliber Collision kept me undated via text message and my car was returned to me so much sooner than expected. Sandra answered all of our questions, even ones that we didn't know we had. When enterprise rental was too busy to send over a car to pick us up, one of the Caliber staff members us a ride over. I'm starting to think that my Nissan Frontier is jinxed. My 2017 truck was totaled last August by a driver not paying attention, and in February 2020, my 2019 Frontier was hit in the front right bumper by a driver not paying attention. Once again, I turned to Caliber Collision on Sturgis Road, and once again they did a super job. Sandra is a joy to work with, and I'd like to give a shoutout to Yesenia as well. If I could give more stars, I would. Everyone was kind and professional. From Alyssa and Cecily in the office, to the GM Manny; SUPERIOR service all around. My story is a long one so, let me just share the highlights. I haven't had an accident in 25 years, until a couple weeks ago. My car was not originally taken to Caliber. It did however get moved over to Caliber as they are Mercedes Certified (I had a c300). I hadn't had the best communication or help of any kind UNTIL it was moved to Caliber. From the moment Caliber had the car, and my first conversation with Manny, I knew I was in good hands. He was so patient and fully explained what I should expect and the steps going forward. He communicated with me daily and actually LISTENED to me. He personally made sure my car was lifted and thoroughly inspected. In the end, my car was totaled (I suspected it would be). The attention and professionalism I received from Caliber was above par and I would recommend them to anyone and everyone! Good job team @ Caliber Collision! My truck was unfortunately hit on the side front front door to the back fender. Damages to three panels plus rear tailight and bumper. Luckily insurance covered cost and the Caliber Collision team handled my truck with haste. George was the man who I stayed in contact with and called for questions about the progress. They do have a text alert that also goes out to the customer to provide information about what stage your vehicle is in. I thought was a cool feature of the company to have. I will post some photos of the damages and finished work. But I'm am happy with it and the fact they have a warranty is a nice deal too. Friendly staff and easy to locate. I was told it would take 5 days to get my car fixed. Recommended from the Audi dealership. My car was 3 weeks old. It took 3 weeks and I was told they lost the parts. Then told it would get detailed and they apologized. I picked it up still missing A6 logo on back and if it was cleaned it was by someone that stepped all inside with dirty feet. Then driving home two exits off the freeway flat tire. Hole in the brand new tire and took 4 months to get reimbursed. Audi needs to think about who they endorse!!! read more

It's been a while since I brought my car to this shop to repair some damage a family member caused. I did so because: (1) it was Audi certified; and (2) it was on my insurance list. The advisor who helped was friendly. However It took them nearly a month to fix my car. They ordered the wrong part initially. Then, I was informed it would be ready only to learn that they had scratched the car while putting the doors back on and had to repair it. They sent a poor quality picture of the scratch. They also may have charged my insurance for their scratch repair (thereby increasing the amount of my loss). It is unclear from the invoice. They did me the favor of driving the car back to me, but it was not clean. The mirrors had film on them from sitting so long and needed some good elbow grease to be cleaned. For $3k+ in repairs, they should return the car clean, especially when they have it for a month. I reviewed and looked at the area that was damaged (the passenger side rocker panel). It looked good and I thought nothing else of it. Fast forward to recently where I've been noticing issues that I can't say for certain happened while at Caliber, I just have a striking suspicion. First, on the passenger side b-pillar door jam there is an indentation like someone "dinged" it. I believe this may be the scratch and, if not, I can't imagine how or who else caused this ding. (See pic). I can't see it without opening the door and most people won't know it's there, but I do. I also know that one should question the work that can't be seen if this was caused by them. Second, on the passenger side it looks as though they damaged the headliner. I noticed it one day when seeing that the inner door seal/weatherstripping was raised in one spot. I peeked under and saw that for whatever reason the headline was not fitting right with the weatherstripping. Again, I don't know if they did this but I can't imagine where else it would have happened. Thus, they get two stars and if I knew these issues were certainly caused by them I would take the car back, but I don't. Moral of the story: check your car throughly if you need to bring it to this shop. read more

Worst Experience of My LIFE. Avoid at ALL COST. SHORT VERSION: My accident was on 08/15, I was rear ended; I didn't get my car back until 11/18. 3 months later!!! Do you know how much it costs to rent a car for 3 months? FULL STORY I was involved in a car accident where I was rear ended by a hit and run driver on 08/15. I had my car towed to Caliber Collision in Reseda, CA. (See separate review of that facility) . A week later I still had not received an estimate so I started calling to check what the delay was, and was told that this particular facility did not have the technology to work on a Mercedes and it would need to be transferred to the facility in Oxnard. (It took them a week to determine that) Frustrated but trying to remain positive I had the car sent to the Oxnard facility as recommended. I called and spoke to Dave Chavez who was to be my service advisor. At first Dave seemed promising, apologizing for the other facility dropping the ball and making promises to do everything in his power to make this a great experience. Boy was he WRONG. In fact, I can honestly say that this was the absolute WORST customer service experience I have EVER encountered. A week later I called to get an estimate (we are now two weeks after the wreck), & I STILL didn't have an estimate. I spoke to Romie at the front desk, I asked to speak with Dave and was told he was unavailable but a message would be given to him to call me back, never received that call. The next day was the weekend so they were out of office, so I called back on Monday, and am told by Dave that he was never given this message. So basically this girl will tell you anything you want to hear to get you off the phone. He tells me he sent me the estimate over the weekend by email, and that he was ordering the parts that day and would guess the repair would take at least a month if not more. I accepted this and moved on. 9/14- (a month from the starting point) I call back to get an update,I am told by Dave that some of the parts are back ordered and he doesn't know when they will be avail, however the repair cant start until he receives them. I was extremely upset and asked to speak with the GM of the body shop, whose name is also David. I speak with the GM and I am given an apology and told that he was personally going meet with Mercedes and try and expedite the process. I am told I will hear back from him by the end of the day. Never heard back from him. Next business day was Monday so I called back. I am told by Romie that he is out of the office and will be gone for the week. So I again talk to Dave C. He has no news for me. Only that the part is still back ordered. 9/26 Call for update, speak with Dave C, told the part had arrived and repair could begin! Excited at that point, I ask for a timeframe . Im told it would still take nearly a month. I have a yearly trip planned for Halloween, so I ask specifically. "Dave will my car be ready by October 31?" Told, "YES! Definitely before then." Awesome 10/14 - Dave calls me to let me know that the repair was going well, and that we were still on schedule to be completed by 10/31. Awesome news. 10/18 I receive another call confirming that the repair was almost completed, we were still on schedule and the car was being sent to be painted. Again great news, I confirm all arrangements for my trip. 10/31 I call in to see if the car is done. I am told by David "Oh, I thought tomorrow 11/1 was the deadline, im going to need 1 more day. Ok Dave 11/1- I call in, and the car is being sent to Mercedes for the alignment which should be completed by the end of the day and should be ready the next day. Ok Dave 11/2- "Car still at Mercedes awaiting alignment, 1 more day." OK Dave 11/3- "I just got the car back from Mercedes, I need to finish a couple extra installations and then it will be ready, 1 more day." Ok Dave 11/4- "The parts I needed for the last few repairs don't fit, I am working with Mercedes to find out why. Today is Friday, Ill have an update for you on Monday" . OK Dave.....At this point I decided to cancel my trip as it obviously wasn't going to happen. 11/7-Monday. "Parts were mislabeled, waiting for new parts to arrive and will install them" . I am furious, I ask to speak with GM again who does get on phone and speak with me about the situation. Promising to make reparations any way he can, and that he will eval the case for timeliness after we are done. I end up calling the regional manager Craig F. who gets involved and starts making things happen. They waive my $500 deductible, and give me a new rental for the last week of the repair. This is appreciated but it doesnt change the fact that this should never happen. 11/18 I get my car back but, the blind spot sensors are still not working, there is a ticking in the front fan, the tire keeps losing pressure, and the check engine light is on. I really appreciate her paying attention to detail I could tell she really takes her job serious and wants the customer completely happy and satisfied: I was also so happy I got my car back sooner than expected and she was willing to go in on a Saturday so we could pick our car up since Friday I wasn't available to pick my car up.
