Humberto is such a sweetheart. He is very professional. There was issues getting payment from the other insurance company to get the funds to fix the damages. My 20 day rental was up and I needed a car. Humberto felt bad for me so he rented a car for me in his name told me not to worry about it because the other insurance will pay for it. So I met him at enterprise rentals picked up the car. Finally my car was fixed and when I picked up my car he had it detailed. I have had another car or two taken to other auto body shops, when they finished fixing them. My car was nit detailed. It was still the same dirty, I didn't expect my car to be clean. But anyway with all that said Berto was very communicative with me of what was going on with my car (because it did take a long time) what the insurances were doing and how it was taking a long time. So we got sideswiped on the 101 by a 17 year old driver who wasn't looking as she ame into the lane we were in needless to say the driver side of my car was trashed the front fender hit the driver side tire and shredded the edges so my first stop was to my good friends at Big Brand Tires and Thomas they're referred me to Humberto at H&H Auto Body tech repair my car upon further investigation that found out that he actually has a great body shop with a lot of people we knew have used them. After reading their 5-star reviews, I decided to take my Dodge Ram 3/4 ton truck to H&H Autobody that had recently been damaged (& declared a total loss) by a high impact front-end hit & run collision. After determining the frame was bent beyond repair, Beto's team replaced the frame with a 1-ton option and had it steam cleaned & painted before ever reassembling the truck. They also repaired and/or replaced the hood, driver's side door, and both front fenders. What I also appreciate is their willingness to accept my providing their shop with aftermarket parts of my choice (heavy duty bumper, LED headlamps) instead of using standard stock parts. After complete reassembly, my truck was then taken to a nearby auto dealership for a mechanical & safety inspection before it was released back to me. I'm so pleased with the outcome-- it was polished to perfection and runs & drives like a champ. I was even provided with a digital photo catalog that tracked the repairs from start to finish! We got two vehicles serviced by H&H. Sylvia who is the office manager is on top of communication and customer service. They went above and beyond such as polishing headlights. They definitely did more than what was expected. If you're a USAA customer this is the place to go! Because they have a direct working relationship so it really cut down on lead-times while your waiting to get your car back from the shop. From the many shops I've visited in Oxnard and adjoining areas, I felt most comfortable from this shop, from the appearance of the shop and friendly communication. I would most likely be coming back for some additional side projects since they are very accommodating and extremely flexible with people's busy schedules. I cannot say enough about how fantastic this company is to work with...well work on my car. I leased a new car and 3 weeks later I see a 2 foot scrape underneath my passenger door-all paint gone. It was rattling...I saw that this company had many 5 star reviews and they are well deserved. I sent a message on a Friday night after hours and was given a quote by Humberto within an hour after sending a pic & my VIN. He stuck to his quote after seeing the damage. I received personal attention and service that was exactly what I asked for. I was repairing a car outside of insurance coverage and Humberto and Sylvia were very accommodating, helping me meet the target price for my repair. One look inside their shop and you'll understand that they cater to "car people." A couple of late '60's Mopar Chargers done to the nines with multi tone paint are beautiful. I reached out to HH to get a quote via yelp and Humberto was very responsive. After sending him photos of the damages to the car he said that it might be resolved after a polish and to come by for him to look it over. He was very kind on the phone and even nicer in person. The car was taken to HH and after review he had us bring the car to the back and he himself quickly brought out the polish and buff and the damage was fixed! Beto and the rest of the employees have have so helpful and supportive while our totaled car has been in his shop for over 6 months now. We found out the guy that hit me was excluded from his insurance and they wouldn't be covering any damage done to myself or the car. I was so worried about the storage fees because after that long my Dad (he's the owner of the vehicle) would probably not get anything for his car after paying for the storage fees. I talked to Beto this morning about my concerns and he told me if the storage fees is coming out of our settlement he would not charge us anything!!! H&H has been a life saver! With a teenaged driver and being new to CA I was in desperate need of a great mechanic. Humberto is an amazing man and runs an incredible shop. In 6mos I have been there 3x, and each time the job was completed on time, in perfect working order, clean conditions and excellently priced and always as quoted. No games, no fuss, no issues. They have replaced the rearview mirror, added gas/brake pedals so my daughter could sit further from the steering wheel (she is only 5' tall.) and replaced the rear bumper. She set me up with a rental car and called me to make sure that I did get my rental. She would call me to give me updates and when I would call she was always courteous. The owner Humberto (Beto) is fantastic! He actually opened up his shop on Saturday so that I can drop off my car. He and his team did a fantastic job on my car! And to top it off, he cleaned the headlights on my car. They were looking very foggy and they needed to be cleaned up. Now they look new!! He did this at no extra cost! I took my truck camper shell to get painted the same color as my truck. First I called H&H and got to speak with the owner, who was polite and super helpful, by explaining the process and gave me a quote within an hour, for the cost of the job. I thought it was good price so I took my vehicle to drop off the camper shell, they assisted me in removing the shell to leave with them and there paint matching expert matched the color super well. After a couple days I was able to pick up the camper shell and found the job to be very high quality at the best price in town!
